Hotel Pennsylvania Review

Hotel extremely convenient to Madison Square Garden. It's kind of old kind of shabby. People created the lobby so it's quite nice some of the rooms have been upgraded some of them haven't.

If the photos don t speak for themselves then please take my word that this is the worst decision you will make today.

I read the reviews, I ignored the reviews, I regretted it all.

Checked in, stayed 5 minutes and checked out. In no way could I have stayed a night in this room or hotel.

If I could leave 0 stars I would.

Avoid at all costs.... unless you are interested in staying at a hotel that sweats from the walls and wreaks of decay.

The hotel is in a prime location. The lobby area is nice, but the halls where the rooms are have a bit of a musty odor to them. The room we stayed at also had a funny smell, and the beds were quite loud. We were happy that the air conditioning worked well, and the water pressure was fairly decent.

I was just at this hotel. I read the review and was extremely nervous to stay here! At first glance at the room I was sort of relieved but then I started to understand why so many bad reviews!!! First under the bed there was toilet paper, nail clippers and a coke bottle. The dust under the bed was so thick! Yes...the carpet was gross and the ceiling had holes in it! But those could be over looked! But the WORSE WORSE part was of room was it was freezing! We could actually see the drapes moving from the draft coming from the closed window. I called down to the front desk and they said sorry the heat is off! Are you kidding me????? They did offer extra blankets but what hotel doesn't allow each room to control their heat? Then the maid asked me if she didn't have to clean the room because she had too much to do and handed me some clean towels! And then I had to promise her not to tell her boss. Poor thing! When we got back at around 7pm from 10am she was still cleaning rooms. Finally I went to get Vicks vapor rub for my boyfriend who became ill during our stay, probably because he was freezing to death and the man running the shop in the lobby was attempting to charge me 18 dollars! I said no way and then he began to bargain the price with me and asked what I wanted to pay? So crazy. I am disappointed in this facility but something attracts these poor guests to this hotel! The check in line was always long and at one point was out the door. Good luck on your stay!
