Hotel Papadopoli MGallery Accor Review

Terrific hotel. Checked in at 10am after an all night flight. Front desk took our bags while we went aight seeing and had everything in our room when we returned that evening. I celebrated my 35th birthday last night and upon arriving back to the room after an evening out find a surprise bottle of Prosecco, candy and two martini glasses filled with floating strawberries. The buffet breakfast is terrific with gorgeous views of their garden and everyone on the staff is amazing. When we come back to Venice in the future we will define be staying with them again.

The hotel has very comfortable rooms of decent size, many with a canal view. Breakfast options are good. Easy location for transport to/from Venice, although a long walk to get to Piazza San Marco.

Too expensive you might as well book a air BNB and live like a local. My room did not look at all like the photos, there is no gondola out front, some staff members seem snobby or have attitude like the rest of ventians. I stayed at the Palazzo Venice was much more like the photos shown here.

Room is clean and nice. Staffs are friendly. Breakfast is delicious. Close to train station and local restaurants.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location, close to the train station and far enough from the crowds but about a 15min walk to to the Rialto Bridge. Lots of restaurants and bars very close. The breakfast buffet was really good and sufficed is easily each day. The staff at the front desk to the lobby bar to the restaurant were all very friendly and personable. We loved our stay here and highly recommend considering this fine hotel.

Rare are the hotels that benefit from such qualities of reception and reception services (fabio;)). The breakfast is impressive because of its large selection of products, its discreet and efficient waitresses and its decoration in its beautiful winter garden. The rooms are very very clean and the attention of the maids (maria and ornella :)) was lovely. This hotel is classy and very well located (entrance to Venice). A big thank you to the whole team for this magical weekend. I highly recommend it.

Location along the canals, offering a 2-minute walk to Piazzale Roma from where there is a taxi and bus (from the airport) and from where also the People-mover (tramway serving the cruise port in 5 minutes) and 20 minutes from San Marco square on foot.
Receptionist reception (speaking French) is very neat, attentive and with lots of advice.
Room service is impeccable (sheets changed daily) and the room staff very polite and discreet.
We chose this hotel for the before and after of our cruise with the nice surprise that during our second stay we received the room at 9:30, (instead of the usual 14 hours).
Thank you to the entire team of this establishment for our 2 perfect stays!

Stunning hotel in a great location because close to Piazzale Roma and the station. Luxurious room with many modern features. Bathroom with huge shower and tub. Stunning view over Calle de Tolentini. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast buffet

It is a beautiful hotel from the outside, has a good view. I go there every time we step to go to Venice.

The hotel was very strange, especially the receptionist was racist and the receptionist especially the old woman was very bad with the Arabs. I am a platinum member in Accor but she didn't let me out late. But the bathroom and shower were not good

We had an excellent 3 night stay at this hotel. The room was small but perfectly adequate and very clean and comfortable. The bathroom and shower were very good with a lovely range of toiletries. The duvets, pillows and towels were all excellent. The hotel is in a very good location being out of the main busy area but within easy access to all Venice has to offer. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to return at some point.

Perfection. Perfect location, spacious room, very nice furnishings. The service of the breakfast is extra. And to conclude the staff is very courteous and very helpful.

If you are arriving by bus from the airport this hotel could not be more convenient as it is only a two minute walk away! It is also very close to the vaperetto terminal.

I found the hotel very comfotable and quiet - had room overlooking the gardens. For the price, I couldn't really fault the place.

The hotel was renovated less than a year ago so it is still very nice and clean. It still has its "new smell" lol. It was nicely decorated with AC that works well. There was a good variety of foods at breakfast and the dinner was good too. The staff was friendly and greeted you with a smile. It didn't have a pool or a fitness center but I'm not sure how common those are in Italy because the other two places I stayed didn't have them either. So with leaving that out it was a great place to stay.

Close to the train and bus station, without the inconvenience of noise. The staff speak very good French, the rooms are nickel, restaurant and bar at the top too. Of course all this at a cost.

Hospitality was high and wonderful hotel. I was not good at a long bed on the feather bed pad and carpet.

Wonderful experience here! We were warmly welcomed by the staff who helped us to our room. I think any room has a beautiful view of Venice, so you cannot go wrong. My boyfriend and I stayed for three nights for our Italian vacation and we so enjoyed our stay. Across the three cities we visited, we would absolutely say this was our favorite hotel. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was superb, and the location is great whether you come by train or plane, which we did both!

The most beautiful hotel in Venice. Far from Plaza San Marcos, but the experience is worth it.

Our room was quite small for 3 people, but nice deco and amenities (much nicer than the photos). Had a great stay at the hotel. Staff were friendly, great service and food was lovely. Would definitely go back. A great hotel and I would recommend to others to stay during their visit to venice.

It was an unforgettable weekend. The occasion was my birthday and with my husband we stayed in the canal view suite. What to say? The expense was worth it, certainly not cheap but strategic and excellent, well served by public transport. Competent staff, helpful and crazy room, cleanliness and other impeccable services. Last night we had dinner at the hotel where, if there was any need, it was a further confirmation of the high quality of the structure and of the highly professional, qualified and at the same time very kind staff. In short, a daydream that I recommend everyone to try. Roberta

Our 3rd and certainly not our last stay at Hotel Papodopoli! As usual, we were warmly welcomed, our room was lovely and the service was top! Easy 2 minute walk to canal. Great restaurants and bars within a couple of minutes walk, yet quiet evenings! Bravo!

By far the best hotel we stayed during our trip to Europe. Beautiful hotel, inside and out. The location is right in the heart of Venice, close to the train station and walking distance from everything. The hotel staff are very helpful and accomodating. Exceptional ameneties.

Absolutely delighted on our first trip to Venice to have stayed at this hotel. Both very well located to facilitate transfers with the airport, and yet already in the historic center of Venice, a charming, lively district, the hotel is located on the edge of a park, which does not spoil the meal. caught under the trees! We had a beautiful king size room with a long terrace, open view, almost no opposite, impeccable service and housekeeping. In conclusion excellent value for money for this Mgallery that we highly recommend

Awesome hotel! My parents have stayed here a couple of times and they suggested it. Really love the location of this hotel. The sheets were clean, the room was large, and the staff was super friendly! The breakfast buffet was outstanding!! I wish we had another night in Venice as this places was a great way to end the vacation.

EXCELLENT.

We stayed here during our honeymoon. Breakfast was free with our room, as we went with a canal view, and very tasty. The hotel was beautiful. Sadly, those with early arriving flights in Venice couldn't even check in an hour or two early, let alone five minutes. The staff was helpful and professional, they provided a city map and helped us book a water taxi to the cruise port, which arrived at their private dock. I told them we were on our honeymoon and after cleaning our room, the left champagne and strawberries, a nice touch. The beds were comfortable, although the pillowcases were a bit scratchy. The bathroom was roomy, the shampoo smelled fantastic (peppermint and lavender), and the shower was huge and comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff treated us very kindly, and the room was as luxurious as expected. The location is extremely convenient if you are coming into Venice from the train station. Last but not least, the room service was simply the best I've ever had.

Wonderful from beginning to end. The hotel has a luxurious feel, well appointed rooms, quiet location and a cute bar/restaurant. Walking distance to the train station (Santa Lucia). We d come back in a heartbeat!

This is the best hotel we have stayed at in Europe. The customer service is excellent. We had a window and balcony that overlooked the canal. The room looked like something out of a castle.

Overall very good experience.

Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff. Dinner at the restaurant inside was quite good. Excellent complimentary wifi. They give you complimentary water bottles every day (very useful! not many places do this). Big rooms and bathrooms with a fantastic shower.

Cons: Average breakfast. Location is bit away from the main areas in Venice but close to the bus and train stations (though for some, this might be a plus because it is quieter at night). The AC in the rooms aren't great if you like it cool (kept turning off and left the room hot at night).

We stayed for 3 nights, over Christmas. Service was excellent. They suggested some places for us to walk around. The restaurant was very good. We had the special dinner menu and we were very pleased. We also sat at the bar one evening and had the tiramasu. It was wonderful. It is a bit pricey, but you get excellent service.

Very nice hotel and very good decoration. The hotel is at the entrance of Venice so there is walking distance parking option. Staff is nice and helpfull. The hotel is really nicely decorated and very news and refurbish. Price for food and drinks are a bit expensive. San Marco is a bit far, nearly an hour with lots of staired bridges to cross. Thwre ia the vaporetto option nearby at plazza Roma.
