Simple and friendly good for a quick visit to Hondarribia
The hotel is perfectly located up in the fortress in a charming square. Its walking distance to all the restaurants and bars down the streets so its away from the noise and crowd. The hotel is small but charming with a beautiful courtyard where there is a bar. There are two floors (or three if you are American) no lift (escalator). Rooms are good sized, clean and bright. Neural colours for beddings, comfortable bed, a desk, two chairs, bedside tables, and a wardrobe. There is a shower, heating, hairdryer in the bathroom. Staff in the reception is friendly and helpful. There are 3 free parking places. But parking is available on the streets away from the square. Breakfast was at 7 euro per person but we chose to walk to the bakeries nearby to bask in the sunshine and beautiful place. Will certainly return. Highly recommended.
Clean comfortable convenient convivial hotel. In the old town. Near bus stop, bars. We were in attic room so if you can't use stairs be aware as no lift. Hotels WiFi also didn't connect in attic room.
Good on all counts (comfy beds, tasty breakfast, cheerful & helpful staff, etc) location in old Town puts it over the top, on small plaza with lively local scene, rare tourist, moon-surface quiet at night. Could just stay here indefinitely.
