Hotel Los Gatos and Spa Review

Beds were comfy, robes were of great quality, guest care products were of good quality, guest services at night were quick, pool was clean, and the entire place was beautiful. But for the price, breakfast was quite dismal.

Contemporary & warm - the hotel staff were wonderfully friendly. Someone from housekeeping stopped by to introduce themselves, which felt authentic and welcoming. There's also a water dispenser right outside, which alone is amazing because I'm always looking for somewhere to fill my bottle.

Great place for business meetings, the Monte Sereno rooms are especially nice, lots of natural light. Our day of coordinator Sergio was awesome and so helpful!

The food at Dio deka was fantastic and the complimentary valet was nice. The service was great, would definitely go back.

Felt this hotel room was like a posh suite in an estate or villa, rather than a "big box" hotel room.

A great base for a winetasting getaway in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Had a quiet courtyard room in the back building with a great patio. Near the pool. Easy underground parking.

Had solid staff recommendations for outdoor dining within easy and more challenging walking distance. Walking is better on busy weekends in town, as the place is buzzing with people enjoying the great ambiance of the town and over 100 bistros to choose from.

Great tasting experience at Testarossa Winery which is less than a mile away!

Yummy locally produced treats were a nice touch from the usual honor bar snacks.

Really friendly staff made me feel like i was staying at a friends Italian villa rather than a hotel!

No other place to stay in the LG co.es close.....exemplary service, fair room costs, exceeded my expectations 10 fold! And a staff that listens and follows they on every detail I wanted....I'll spend my money here next time again!!!!

Very nice room, though I had a suite. Even had my own fireplace. As I didn't have to pay, though, I don't know about the value for price ...

Ate dinner at Dio Deka. Service was timely and the food was phenomenal. I eat lamb often, and this was the best lamb I've ever had. My only complaint is how far away the restrooms were.

Great, quiet hotel with very nicely appointed rooms. Parking is convenient - underground. Wireless works well too. No FS1 if you need it to watch a sporting event (e.g., World Series) so make sure you can log onto your cable service.

Dio Deka is a must eat. We got food delivered from Dio Deka for an offsite meeting in Hotel Los Gatos. Very good lamb and Greek yogurt.

Great rooms. Feels very cozy with a fireplace but has a nice desk and USB ports for business travelers.

Notes from when I stayed at this hotel in May 2016:

Nice grounds and buildings with a Mediterranean atmosphere. Hotel staff are pleasant and helpful; public rooms and spaces are very good; bedrooms are comfortable but looking rather tired, with thin walls.

The restaurant is not open for lunch, and the bar is not open until the evening.

Breakfast is a total disgrace. Coffee is over-stewed and sour. No choice of cooked breakfast just scrambled eggs with the consistency (and flavour) of rubberised cinder-block. You need a chainsaw to cut into it. No bacon or anything else to go with that, just jaw-breaking recycled potatoes. The cook should be fired so he can pursue his talent for making car tyres or operating a crematorium.

Fortunately, just a quarter-mile up the road, you can find the Southern Kitchen coffee shop, who really do understand what breakfast should be.

Beautiful hotel in downtown Los Gatos. Restaurant in lobby had delicious Greek good and great ambiance. Would eat again. Very pricey, but worth it for the quality.

This is a very nice hotel. However, Micheal at the front desk is arrogant and snide. He is not helpful. He never smiles.

We had Father's Day brunch at Dio Deka, and it was great! The food was delicious, and the staff were prompt and friendly.

Very nice rooms. Cozy bed, fireplace actually gave off heat instead of just being decorative. Loved the tablet in the room for navigating hotel services! I only wish the room service menu was more extensive. Will definitely be back to the hotel to stay and check out the spa services.

This hotel is very accommodating, and willing to do anything they can for their guests. Beautiful facilities, and very close to downtown los gatos.

I really loved the wonderful wait staff they were so considerate and the food was amazing! Would highly recommend this location
