This is a gorgeous property. It is easy to find and just a short walk or drive from dowtown shops and restaurants. The rooms are beautifully appointed, quiet, and comfortable. I truly could have happily spent a week here! My only "complaint" is that the room category I booked was supposed to have a fireplace and did not. It would have been lovely but, in hindsight, it wasn't necessary.

We visited with family that were staying at Hotel Los Gatos. The room was beautiful and had great amenities such as fireplace in the suite. Family staying there loved the spa and amenities and raved about how kind and helpful staff had treated them. Looks like a great place to stay.
Is one of the best place to stay and also has a Beautiful restaurant inside of the building winer of Michelin stars the food is greek and is amazing I really like this pace.
My husband and I stayed here for a few nights during our move. We specifically picked Hotel Los Gatos thinking they would take the extra precautions necessary for cleaning during covid serious. We were so wrong. On the first night we got hot and pulled back the sheets from the comforter and found the most disgusting down comforter under neath. And when I called and said it was dirty. They just simply said they would send a clean on up. No apologies, didn t seemed worried, nothing. Saying that I am disappointed in their cleanliness especially during covid is an understatement. I would not recommend staying here.
Nice clean rooms, thorough housekeeping, friendly staff. Tight parking spots and lack of availability during peak restaurant hours was an issue. I stayed in the rear building and at one point I had to walk through the middle of a party being held beside the pool, which was pretty awkward.
A beautiful hotel in the quaint town of Los Gatos. With an amazingly friendly and knowledgeable staff this is the must stay destination for Los Gatos. Within close walking distance of everything the town has to offer and a fantastic onsite restaurant plus many other amenities this is the only place I'll stay while visiting.
Booked the Dio Deka dining package for my anniversary in one of suite rooms. The staff was fast and efficient. The room was spotless and well appointed. Dinner at Dio Deka was phenomenal and we returned to the room to find a surprise girt of a bottle of prosecco and chocolate truffles. I strongly recommend staying at Hotel Los Gatos anytime you are in the area.
Very nice hotel in Los Gatos, walking distance from downtown LG. Quick and easy access to the Santa Cruz mountains and wine tasting. Great location for a "staycation" if you live in the area. Feels "far away" from your kids and ordinary life. :) My wife and I have stayed here multiple times for away time from the kids.
At first I would like to say that this is just my opinion on what it was like to stay in this place. First, the pictures on their google need a little refreshing, not the outside pics but their rooms. At first, I felt like we were staying at my grandparents house due to the pictures. However, once in the hotel, let me tell you total difference experience. The room was comfortable and welcoming. It was clean and the bathroom was nice. Their service was great. We asked for towels when we checked. In, the moment we got to the room the towels were waiting for us already. I did not eat in their restaurant but it was packed last night. The night was great, the bed was comfortable. Great place to stay. Thank you and I will see you around!
Nice hotel, charming Adobe style rooms, gas fireplaces in every room(?), Comfy beds, nice staff, and some rooms have balconies. The shower heads weren't great, but everything else seemed good. Pokestops accessible! It's a couple blocks from the main road of shops and restaurants, but it's probably also quieter.
I ate at the Dio Deka restaurant. Upscale restaurant, quite good food, attentive service. Even so, the prices were higher than I believe is warranted. I definitely feel the hit in the wallet from this place.
We were in the Monte Sereno room and it was pretty good. Breakfast was in hallway right next to the room. Lunch was served in the same hallway. Downstairs in the courtyard we had a nice multi-course dinner. The food was great and room worked well for our team building exercise.
Elegant and charming, inside and out. Large bathroom with soaking tub, tiled shower, double sink and separate water closet (not handicap). Two double beds, sofa and two chairs and TV in the room, which opened to the patio with pool and Jacuzzi. Small fridge, Kuerig coffee maker, cash snacks in room. My dad uses a walker. We parked underground and took an elevator to the first floor. Restaurant had live jazz playing. Second floors had balconies. Very beautiful and comfortable.
My husband and I ate here for valentine's day. It was a date I will forever cherish. The service was amazing and the food was great. Perfect place for a date at a fine dining restaurant.
I adore this family friendly chic little hotel. The rooms are neat and clean with a dash of luxe. There's a lovely pool and spa plus a bespoke restaurant with a nice wine list.
My husband booked Hotel Los Gatos as our hotel for the night of our wedding, and it was such a cute hotel with some pretty luxurious parts to it. In terms of the hotel itself, I would give it 5 stars. The hotel is clearly older, but they have worked to modernize it to make it comfortable and feel luxurious. The room was beautiful and the staff had put rose petals on the bed and given us a bottle of champagne which was a really sweet touch.
The reason that my review is bumped down to 4 stars was my experience upon arriving. I walked into the hotel wearing my wedding dress since we had come directly from our wedding to check in, and I understand that it was late, but even after they checked us in, we had to ask for someone to help us carry our bags to our room and the person at the counter seemed offended that we were asking. Typically, this wouldn't bother me, but it was pretty clear that we had just gotten married and I don't know about you, but I wasn't prepared to schlep a suitcase up a flight of stairs in my wedding dress...
Anyway, aside from that mild hiccup in our experience, everything else was great and I would recommend staying here!
Great location in downtown Los Gatos. Very nice cozy hotel with beautiful courtyard and fountains. Warm welcoming lobby. Friendly service. Less crowded.
Great service in a small, but beautiful town. Hotel itself appeared small, but the rooms were very spacious, the staff very curious, and the overall appearance was not only clean, but beautiful with some rustic charm. Will definitely come and visit here again.
I booked my reservation from Wednesday-Sunday and paid in full. I called on Wednesday to inform them I may check in that day or Thursday. The receptionist said it was fine and she would make a note on my account.
I come in Thursday at 11pm to check in and the receptionist said she's not sure if she would have a room for me was since I "no showed" the day before. So we bantered back and forth bc she just didn't understand the fact that I paid in full and it shouldn't matter what day I check in. And I guess she also didn't understand that it was the other receptionist's fault for not communicating with the other staff about me not checking in on Wednesday.
She proceeded to tell me that in order for me to get the room for the night I would have to pay a additional $450 while they figure out the situation. I also showed them my email confirmation showing I paid and it still wasn't good enough. Mind you I'm from out of town and it is 1am my time and I have my 6 year old son with me while they figure out THEIR mess.
As I was leaving, the bell boy, Russell, was BEYOND rude and condescending. He yelled at me saying that I'm not better than the staff and that I can carry my own luggage. Completely unacceptable. It doesn't matter how upset I am, you NEVER treat a customer that way. I've ran 4 spas and if any of my staff ever behaved that way, they would be immediately let go.
I called and emailed their general manager that night. I received a call from him at 8am the next morning and he sincerely apologized on behalf of his staff. I told him that's not good enough and that his bell boy needs to apologize.
I come to town at least four times a year and this was my second time staying here. Bc I didn't receive an apology from the bell boy, I will not be returning. Just absolutely ridiculous. The only reason this isn't getting a 1 star is bc the GM was nice and seemed sincere.
Dl Egan hotel and resturant. Great service. Nice people and have meeting rooms on the top and can reserve them for business or wedding parties recommended.
Room above a transformer but luckily could sleep on the other side of the hotel the next night. Service is reasonable, property is due for an update. Breakfast is moderate.
What a beautiful hotel! Very stylish and clean! We loved the salt water pool and the hot tub was so relaxing. Nice for families. Convenient to restaurants.
I forgot to mention to the front desk that our shower drain was slow and we hated the quality of the TP, but I suppose during this pandemic, it's the least of our worries.
The experience was phenomenal. Great service and even better food. Complementary velet of always nice. The server was very accommodating when asking for custom drinks. Overall I enjoyed our experience and will be back again.
We looked at a lot of different wedding locations before picking Dio Deka and Hotel Los Gatos. We were instantly won over by the Mediterranean charm, good food, and responsive staff. We had high hopes for our wedding to be well managed, especially considering the cost of hosting an event at this venue. Unfortunately, both Dio Deka and Hotel Los Gatos failed horribly.
Our first issue was the lack of air conditioning inside the ballroom which was at a solid 85F+ the entire wedding. When asked if the air conditioner was on and working, the staff assured us it was but the temperature never got any cooler. With the dancing and layers of wedding clothes, the heat was unbearable. Guests became too uncomfortable and left the wedding early to escape the heat.
Beyond this, after filling a 10+ page questionnaire outlining the wedding details down to schedules and individual seats, the staff still had to be directed by the bride and groom for things such as releasing guests to go to the buffet, and they failed to bring out the kid s meals only after the bride inquired why they weren t on the tables. The kid s meals were finally brought after everyone (adults and kids) had already finished eating from the buffet. When it was time to open the buffet lines, instead of releasing guests in an orderly fashion AFTER the bride and groom, they released all 110 guests to get up and go to the buffet at once before giving the bride and groom a chance to get their food. In such a narrow space and with the headcount approaching the maximum capacity, it was chaos getting to and from the buffet lines.
I could understand a few minor hiccups in the service, but the way the event was managed by the staff was definitely not what we had agreed to when we chose to host our wedding here. I have never felt so disrespected and frustrated especially on such a special day.
To top all of this off, our wedding night hotel room shower was clogged so that you had to stand in filthy, backed-up water. I definitely did not expect this from a $400.00+/night hotel. Then, upon checkout, we were reassured not to be charged for the water we had used in the mini bar, and when the receipt came they charged us for not only for the water, but also items that we did not take from the mini bar.
We are deeply and entirely disappointed in the service at both Dio Deka and Hotel Los Gatos and will not be returning again.
Quaint and cozy. Recommend the coffee shop across the street for a quick breakfast. Stayed here for business, but it seems like an awesome place to stay for fun, especially for romantic occasions. Walking distance to all kinds of shopping and dining. Taking a walk downtown was very enjoyable. Service was excellent. Very professional without being intrusive.
A beautiful and historical location for a very unique hotel in the mountains in Los Gatos. Great views of downtown from the nice pool. Best service, too.
One of the best hotel experiences the industry has to offer. Excellent staff, impeccable amenities, perfect location, and other worldly restaurant on the first floor. A true oasis in an already exceptional town.
As an professional makeup artist, I have been here many times over the last 10 years for the wedding makeup hair service! I like this location in a beautiful town, the room filled with old charm, the cozy patio is where my clients always enjoy their breakfast, which is a plus! Oh, the best thing is plenty of natural lighting come in to help my job easy!
I came here for an offsite with colleagues and was very happy. This is a lovely small hotel located a short walking distance from the main restaurant and shopping area of Los Gatos. The room I had was nice, spacious and very quiet. Staff were extremely friendly throughout, and the hotel offered a turndown service. There is a small pool available. The onsite restaurant, Dio Deka, was also excellent.
Lovely room in a beautiful space. Service was great when I realized I needed silverware in my room. Very comfortable for the single night that I stayed.
