Absolutely fabulous. Location is wonderful and the new refurbishment is luxurious. Rooms beautifully designed, blissful beds breathtaking views of the Atlantic, mountains and landscaped gardens. Listening to the ocean from inside your room is amazing. A real treat!

Wonderful, it is for me the best hotel in Lanzarote for decades. It has been impeccable but the buffet in the evening is disastrous for a five star and I say this because I sincerely adore this hotel.
Neither the wines, nor the care in the presentation of the tables, nor the service, nor the food, nor the atmosphere, are at all what one could expect.
You just have to go to dinner at Parmigiano's house a hundred meters from the hotel and which belongs to the same hotel group, to dine excellently and with some wines, a service and a cuisine that gives a thousand turns to the option of dining in this 5 stars.
Sorry to say, but that's the way it is.
I believe that it is better for the hotel to offer the catering that corresponds to it or not to offer dinners, since this option in the half board greatly detracts from it and is simply a very, very mediocre buffet.
I write this review with the best intention for this place so dear to me and with it I wish that it be better and better.

Great hotel that after renovation convinces with chic furnishings and great service. The staff is great and for the most part professional. The location on the promenade with lots of green is perfect.

The staff always have a great welcome for there guest. Anything you would ask for they would always get it for you. The house keeping is excellent. The staff are very pleased. The bar staff are very pleased and in the restaurant.

Perfect location, between the old town/harbour with lovely tapas and sea food restaurants, and the busy commercial main strip of bars and restaurants.
The hotel has a pool area (hotel provides separate towels for this) just for hotel guests that has direct access to the beautiful beach. Great buffet breakfast and dinner, with lots of choice.
Spacious suite with sea view balcony, cleaned daily with option of clean towels daily if wanted. Not sure how the suite would work if you took children, but for the two of us it was perfect.
Our room 229 was in the middle of the hotel, so down one set of stairs and we were at the pool/beach/restaurant/bar, or up one set of stairs and we were at reception and the main entrance. We were also on the same floor as the supermarket, which was handy.
It's not a pretty, small hotel, it feels massive inside, and the decor is more industrial. Each floor looks very similar and it's easy to get lost at first, but once you get to grips with where you are it's OK.
The hotel seemed to be good for people in wheelchairs, as did the main strip, very accessible, and on the flat.

We stayed at the hotel fariones for a week in October, it was absolutely amazing! We got out of the taxi and were greeted by someone who was ready to take our bags. During the check in process we were offered a glass of cava or orange juice and these little things got our stay off to an amazing start.

The rooms are amazing and have everything you need including beach towels, hand sanitizer, face masks, complimentary water, coffee, etc. The bed was super comfy and the shower was amazing also. The rooms are cleaned twice a day with a turn down service at night time.
The entire hotel was refurbished with a nice and modern decor in the room as well as all the common areas. Loved it!

Breakfast was fantastic!! The selection of food was so good and so tasty, you could choose something different every day and not get sick of it.

The pool area was also fabulous, with lots of space making it very easy to socially distance. My favourite beach in Puerto Del Carmen is playa chica and this is just a two minute walk from the hotel, perfect location. The hotel is just minutes walk from everything you need. There is also a direct access to the beach from the hotel.

The best part about the whole stay? The staff! They were simply amazing - everybody from the bar , restaurant to the reception staff made us feel like we were the only guests in the hotel.
I would like to give a special mention to Miriam. She was the reason that our stay was so amazing. She is brilliant at her job and did everything to make sure that our stay in the hotel was perfect. She is the employee that every hotel should have, her passion and dedication were clearly visible.

We had such a fabulous time at the fariones and I cannot wait to go back there.

Although an older hotel, but the location with a super nice beach and a fantastic sea view.
Also breakfast and dinner almost directly on the beach was priceless.
We are happy to come back!

With the safe reform of 10. When I stay a little outdated although service and location outstanding. In the reopening it will be a 10 ... Although you will have to look at prices.

Fantastic, nothing more and nothing less - a visit well worth it!

Unfortunately, a bit of construction noise spoils the mood.
And a cat food place like other Canary Islands and hotels would be nice.

Old hotel and lacking the comforts offered by the most modern facilities. Parking is a very serious problem. Experience that I hope not to repeat.

We stayed at Fariones for five nights at the start of November and we were thoroughly impressed with what the Hotel Fariones had to offer.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the Concierge who took our bags and offered us complimentary drinks.

The hotel has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. It s clear that no expense has been spared, the decoration is tasteful and chic and theres lots of expensive furniture, fittings and finishes.

Not only has the interior been refurbished but the grounds are beautifully designed. There are fantastic views of the beach and the ocean. They have an infinity pool and two jacuzzis. The staff will come to your lounger from the bar to serve you.

The rooms are light and clean. They come with a Nespresso machine and pods are replaced by room service every day. The beds are sublime, the bedding is high quality and I slept well every night. The maids are always about and the rooms get cleaned twice a day, the maids also come round of an evening with chocolates and to replace towels.

The buffet was high quality, although on some
Nights the variety was better than others. They could do with labelling the dishes so guests know what to expect. Lots of guests would open the soup bowl, peer in and then close it again to see what soup was inside, this could surely be avoided with a simple label.

The staff were brilliant. Every one of them was welcoming, pleasant and efficient. It was nice to see that the hotel Manager out on a daily basis, supervising the staff and making sure things were running smoothly.

Overall the stay was fantastic. We felt refreshed and didn t want to go home. We would definitely stay again!

Vintage hotel on the best little beach in Lanzarote

Excellent location, first class food. Top notch service, lovely room with a generous sized balcony. Relax by the pool listening to the gentle sound of the sea.

Unbelievable as here with the rest requirement of the guests is handled.
From 7 o'clock in the morning, sleep is out of the question. Carts with dishes are carted through the hotel to the breakfast room. The staff talk aloud. The hotel is extremely noisy. Badly closing doors.
I really do not have to have that anymore.

Seventies atmosphere and large garden with direct access to a semi-private beach. There are plenty of tourists, yes.

It is beautiful with the Christmas lights and the surroundings are very cozy.

The 5 Star Boutiqe Hotel to stay on The Island.
We were very happy with our choice to stay in this Hotel in Puerto del Carmen.
I can say that the Hotel, the room, the Garden, Restaurant and Poolareas are superb. All clean and pretty. Wonderful art and flowers everywhere inside and outside of the hotel. Directly at the beach, Chill out area, Infinity pool and whirlpools.
It was a big pleasure being in the Hotel Fariones. This standard is not common on the Canary Islands.

One of the best places to stay on the island for sure. A lovely staff and service. You will feel totally safe there in this sad pandemic. Everything is well organized for your safety.
Nitpicking would be to say what they could do better in some cases like
faster service when it comes to ordering Meals. A bigger trash bin in every room. Stutters on the television should be resolved and the beds and pillows are maybe quite hard for some visitors.
We will come back for sure and can not wait how the hotel will develop over the next months and years.

Absolutley 1st class. Cannot fault any of the hotel, staff snd ameneties.Spent many a holiday here before the hotel upgrade. I Look forward to returning here again soon to soak up the luxury.

Spectacular hotel, and of course highly recommended. My review refers to their Erizo Restaurant.
We had dinner on the terrace, we were four people, they joined two tables, there were no tablecloths (always speaking of a 5-star hotel) leaving everything a bit soulless. Correct food, nothing more. The worst the wine list. I can say that to date I had never paid for a 6 euro wine, 29 euro Red Crash. In 2 bottles I understand that they have already made enough profit. You feel cheated and with what is falling esta. If you congratulate the waitresses, all super friendly, especially one of them from the province of Malaga . Sorry but I will not return to the restaurant.

Hotel directly on the ocean. Magnificent swimming pool and facilities, top restaurant and dishes.

Just refurbished to an extremely high standard. Rooms are amazing staff very friendly and helpful. Tiny details, things missing from our room: tissues, hair dryer complimentary shower cap/sewing kit/toothbrush etc. Added bonus fresh flowers in the room!

We have spent the weekend, it has been great, the facilities are very beautiful, total disconnection, it takes you to a more tropical place even than the one it is located, but the plus has been given to us by the team, with an exquisite attention that takes care of each detail. The restoration worthy of the site, dishes that mix modernity and tradition well cooked. We will repeat without a doubt. Congratulations on this fantastic reopening

We had a wonderful holiday, the apartment was beautiful, the staff were so helpful particularly Cristina at the front desk.. I lost my passport, I don't know what I'd have done without her. Thank you so much.We hope to return soon.

nice hotel. nice to have access to a good gym fitness center within 100m that is included. parking is also free, though it can be deficit to find at times. best with the hotel is the view and the breakfast buffet where it is possible to view the ocean.

We stayed 4 nights for our honeymoon and it was spectacular. The hotel was completely renovated and new (there were some areas where they were still working), the reception and restaurant staff a 10!
We stayed in a beautiful junior suite with beautiful sea views and they had the grace to leave us a bottle of cava with some cakes the first night as our honeymoon. Great food, both in the snack bar and in the restaurant (they offered us the whole Asian tasting menu and having the Asian restaurant closed and we loved it).
If I have to find a problem with something, it is the issue of parking (we only had difficulties one day, and we were in low season) but they are working on it to have their own parking lot so it is a temporary "but".
We met Queen Sofia one night at the hotel and despite having a lot of security in our hallway it didn't bother us at all but on the contrary it was curious for us :)
We look forward to going back.

Stayed here for our honeymoon in 07 it was fab, food, room, location and staff were really nice..loved it!!!

No to the charge of 10 for accessing the beach, the beach cannot be privatized. Where is the coastal law here? SHAME

Great hotel in a great location right on the sea. Reopened in September 2020 after complete renovation. Modern and tasteful furnishings. Heavenly garden. Friendly staff. Only the service leaves a lot to be desired. Pretty tough service.
Therefore only a 4 star rating. If it were declared a 4 star hotel, everything would be great!

Loved this place. Staff are lovely. Very clean and tidy. Would have liked Sun lounges on the balcony. But would definitely like a simple toaster in the apartment.
