Pleasant service, welcoming lobby, felt the room as a but loud but otherwise very happy

A friend and I ate breakfast at their restaurant. The food was very good, and came out in a timely manner. Our server was also very friendly
Great place to stay at when visiting Fort Lauderdale!! Right on Las Olas Blvd with beautiful Boathouse restaurant right on the river!! Beautifully decorated, clean & great service!!
Great location, fun neighborhood. Right in the river. The pool is across the street, which isn't very convenient, but it sits next to the river and you can watch the yachts and water taxis go by. The rooms are updated but in an old building. The elevators are ancient and tiny. Our room keys stopped working multiple times but the front desk staff was quick and friendly.
I can see that this is a very mixed review, however the charm, location, and staff will bring us back for our next stay in Ft. Lauderdale.
Hard to find entrance to valet car. Plus my view was of the air conditioners and everything looked down into my room, so no privacy. Not impressed. Definitely not the 4 stars I was expecting.
You need to do something about obnoxious, loud, drunk guests who are using the pool early evening, when diners are trying to enjoy a nice dinner at the Boathouse.
In the heart of las olas. Close to everything. Staff is amazing. Rooms are so clean. I love it so much I booked it again. Highly recommend.
The house wife didnt clean the room end treat us to had the sign do not destirbe on the door, we have not used that sign end we were in Miami hole day. Nice service The People in the reception take the house weif side. Choice a nother hotel If you can
The staff was great and very attentive. The property was very charming and clean. Only a mile from the beach. We plan on staying there next year as well, we love it! It is also located near all the restaurants and shops.
Has the local touch, historical, refined, friendly, clean. I'm the middle of the best part of Fort Lauderdale, Las Olas Blvd. Most central hotel
Nice hotel, clean room. Good food options within walking distance.
Nice hotel. Great staff. GREAT location, but it is an older hotel, so some of the facilities are getting a little dated.
Great service, beautiful hotel, excellent location in the heart of Las Olas
The staff members are extremely helpful. Clean restrooms
Great location, great room, great service. Pet friendly.
Great experience; easy walk to great restaurants and city water taxi.
Amazing location. A bit dated but well kept. Nice for a short quick stay. At this price point you get the basics. Loved the restaurant for business meetings when i lived in the area, the hotel feels like "America" when times were better, being here feels patriotic. Love the flags out front and up and down las Olas blvd. Should actually be 3.5 starts
Location is pretty good, rooms are nice beds were nothing to special, staff was very pleasant and accommodating, parking is a little annoying as it is valet only.
Pool looked nice and is right beside river.
Facilities were nice enough. Parking ia valet only and expensive.
I LOVE this hotel, and Mr. Quinton who is the bartender is awesome!!!!
Stayed in the tower. High level of amenities and well appointed. Good wifi for a fee. Spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location.
Great place to stay in historical ft Lauderdale oldest hotel in Broward County I believe?
Great location in fort lauderdale downtown. Historic landmark but under renovation and the pool is across the street and dinky. Great front desk service and the seafood restaurant below has a great oyster happy hour. A plus for location and staff. Rooms and amenities not so much.
Rooms had a mildew smell. First room we had had hair inside bed. Changed rooms
Location, location, location! No other hotel in the area is right in the middle of the action. Do yourself a favor and stay here. This is the hub of downtown bars and restaurants.
Absolutely beautiful! Great location. Friendly service.
nice, clean rooms. staff was very helpful and accomodating.
A very old school stalwart or Fort Lauderdale. It's not a Ritz, but in some ways its better. Stay there two days and the staff already know your name. The hotel keeps records of what you like, etc and provide it upon check in. Also, it is right in the heart of Las Olas. I would stay there over the W on the beach any day if I didn't live in Fort Lauderdale. It's like the Waldorf of FTL and I strongly suggest it if you are not staying on the beach. There are literally people that live there, and for good reason.
We absolutely love this place! We'll stop in for a few drinks everytime that we're in Fort Lauderdale and eat lunch as well. Which their food is excellent! Next time we r going to actually stay there
Great hotel. Right on Las Olas! Water and main Street access.
Love the hotel it is so old Florida and fantastic the staff are amazing
Thanks Alicia for making our stay at your hotel amazing, you truly are an amazing employee and deserve to be promoted!! Thanks so much for being so sweet!!
The hotel is located along a canal near Las Olas. Very nice, seems to be a popular place to stay. We utilized a conference room to attend the St Patty's parade.
they have Roaches!! Manager Mr. Washington would not clean his hotels. Wont give any refund. Even though it was promised. Alecia front desk lady said its so humid, there they have this problem. Horrible customer services. Read some reviews and you would see how horrible this is.
Great location however the hotel is in dire need of a complete remodel. Rooms were over priced. Very small bathrooms and beds were very old or just poor quality. I had two different rooms and both beds squeaked every time i moved. It was clean, staff was extremely friendly and willing to fix issues though some just can t be fixed without remodel.
Paid $200/night for something worth $80, best case scenario. Beds are old, mattresses have slopes, pillows give you neck pain. Bathroom is very small.
Hotel is clean and the gym is awesome. That's why it deserves two stars
It's a very nice Old Fort Lauderdale Hotel. Great location and very relaxing.
It was nice. Small, yet comfy. Service was top notch too. Very kind
Enjoyed our stay. Wish the river walk had been open but it was closed due to a wedding set up.
Classic ft Lauderdale hotel in the middle of disgusting overgrowth
Nice location but the hotel could use some renovations the gym has been under construction for several months the ATMs don't work the elevator is extremely slow and small
Amazing quaint boutique hotel located in the center of everything..lots of food options and close to river taxi
Eh, it wasn't bad but for the price I was expecting better.
Great location! Friendly staff, good restaurants, pool, gym, large rooms, absolutely fantastic!
This place is awesome great food and wonderful service
Not a good place to stay. Very pricey and bad service. The restaurants foods are very expensive and the taste could be better
Great location on Las Olas. Plenty of shops and restaurants around.
Check-in went well, front desk was exceptionally friendly. Room was clean; traditional, with some modern touches. The Riverfront bar/restaurant is a beautiful place...nice sitting there & watching the boats go by.
Great location and accommodations. Excellent service.
Great place to go to kill time before or after a cruise. You can check your luggage for $5 per piece. The hotel is right on Las Olas Blvd which has lots to do
Went for our 20th anniversary. The concierge helped my husband make it a perfect weekend. Loved the room, location and delicious restaurants on site. Perfect place to enjoy a nice getaway. Everyone was kind and attentive.
The hotel is in a great location, close to everything. We stayed two nights. We were very well received, with exceptional service, on our way to Everglades harbor. Very clean room with very good restaurants.
I stayed there with a group and for the most part it's a very nice hotel they have I believe two restaurants on property the pool is kind of across a side street but my group had some issues with setting up private areas to party in the hotel
Nice area, room was below average. Had an issue with room. Tv did not function, was promised a partial refund, and they lied was not given one. After multiple calls they said no to the refund. Did not offer explanation as to why. Not happy with room or customer service. Disappointed only because the receipt from the front desk shows a lower charge than the actual charge. Would not recommend to anyone. I'm sure I'm not the only person this has happened to. I take honor in my word they obviously don't.
Went for the new year's Eve masquerade ball, it was a lovely time and fabulous service and canopies
The front desk were so helpful and rushed to have a clean room for us as we arrived earlier. Room was clean and comfortable. Only downside was elevator broke, and we had to use stairs carrying heavy luggage and my cane with my limp. Front desk also took that into consideration in bill. Love the place, near other places too.
Great location, wonderful staff. I will continue to come back.
Room was nice. Beds were very comfortable.. staff was extremely polite.
We stayed two nights - very clean hotel and friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location with restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Cheesecake factory is in the same building at the base of the hotel. Definitely recommend and would stay again.
Love FLL - but there are better hotels in the area than riverside. Bed is awful
The best service and hotel we experienced in Fort Lauderdale. Amazing service! We arrived way before check in time, and they checked us in very quickly and had a room ready for us. Their customer service was excellent. We were walking distance from so many shops and restaurants, and everything was so convenient. The room was big, and the restroom was huge as well. Really recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Fort Lauderdale. Definitely worth staying here. We for sure will always book back with them, and have recommended to all our family.
Extremely elegant and the workers treat you like royalty...
Riverside hotel is a very nice hotel. The workers will greet you with care unlike some other hotels. It is a breathtaking experience.
Stayed for a week to work a convention. Awesome crew, awesome food, building has old school charm, and great area to explore anytime.
Hotel is clean, but depending on the room you get (tower vs older building) it s starting to look a bit dated.
Baseboards were pretty beat up, paint peeling. Definitely needs a refresh.
My colleagues that stayed on the newer tower had a 4 star experience, I was in the older main building and was not as lucky.
But the Best thing about this hotel is it s location, it s truly great to be in walking distance of so many restaurants and the beach.
Great place to stay..Friendly staff. Close by riverwalk, near restaurants and shopping. I will definitely stay there again.
nice big room, convenient to airport but while it was comfortable, the bed was the strangest thing ever in that it was so soft you almost sunk to the floor. never seen anything like it.
I visited the hotel for a college friend's wedding. The venue was beautiful, the service was professional, and the prices were reasonable.
A very well located boutique hotel in the middle of Ft. Lauderdale. You will be in the right place if night life is what you are after. Valley parking is on the rear side. Interior is well decorated and clean, service is courteous. Eight floor is dedicated for parties and events of nearly any size with an all-around patio overlooking the city and canals.
Great location, close to a ton of restaurants and shops. The room was clean and very large. Would stay again.
