Boutique hotel, formerly residence of Sarah Braun. Stunning interior decor, with links to Shackleton's Antarctica expedition.
It is very nice and comfortable, however you should have the possibility of getting coffee at hours in the early morning for people who must leave very early to the Tours that exist in the region.
A unique place full of details, and a very good kitchen
Supzrbe rebuilt house after disassembly of the original granci
A beautiful historical site adapted as a hotel, although the rooms are average it makes up for a good bed, impeccable heating and a charming maid service.
Its environments transport you to another era.
The location is super central as a strategic point to explore the city and its surroundings.
Stayed here for 1 night while visiting Punta Arenas. The location is excellent and walkable to the bus station, shopping district, nearby restaurants and city square. We arrived early and we were checked in earlier than the standard check in time which was nice.
Considering how much you pay for the room, the rooms are small and our biggest complaint is that the rooms did not have air conditioning which made for a difficult nights sleep. The window opens for some rooms but not all and when we asked the front desk attendant for some assistance to cool down the room, his suggestion was to leave the front door open which we couldn't do all night. The hotel did not have any portable fans on site which would've helped remedy the problem. Overall, was expecting high quality considering how much we paid for the room and we did not get such an experience.
they are a crap hopefully fence with you the ranci chef
Historical. French architecture of the early twentieth century. Entertaining volumetry and decoration.
Good hotel, quality and price very good, exquisite breakfast and many options. You can have breakfast in the winter in the greenhouse, very nice staff and Wifi throughout the hotel for free.
Beautiful hotel with great art and Shackleton's Bar!
Excellent location, beautiful architecture, good service. Rooms small and poorly decorated. Limited breakfast
Excellent attention from all the staff.
Very small room for 2 passengers and the sheet metal on the door of the room never worked well.
Very but very good the a bitaciones and very central
Nice building and location but clearly the team here does not embrace what hospitality should look like. Plenty of small attentions are missing ...
Great service, clean rooms, great location, and helpful service all around!
Very elegant place. Sample of the pomposity of the Chilean oligarchy. Abundant and rich food. Gentle service although a little slow. Very warm atmosphere
Historic place. Well located. Rooms are small, mattress and pillow uncomfortable. Attention leaves to be desired
Excellent hotel, the attention of the staff, the facilities all impeccable deserve a 7
Helpful staff, good location, over priced for the dated room and it was quite small compared to other rooms we used for similar price, or much less. Breakfast fairly limited again for what we paid.
A magical place, all the way south of the world, a place full of nostalgia.
Between art deco atmosphere and power of the end of the world.
I love all!! Ideal location, the cleanliness of the place, the friendliness of the staff, the breakfast is exquisite and the restaurant's lunch and dinner options are very good.
Wonderful! They treat you too well and very worried! Super clean and cozy. Breakfast is the best!
Excellent restaurant a very nice historical place with a museum hotel bar and much more, a culinary experience of another level ... totally recommendable
It is a nice place, with good attention, it is a hygienic hotel with a good structure.
A traditional hotel located in a historic building. Excellent restaurant located in building greenhouse, gourmet food and excellent wines.
Excellent place, the attention is very careful, we still wonder how they do to keep the temperature so nice in the room .. :)
The Club of the Union grants it, of high level and a traditional hotel.
It should be much better for the price they charge. The room is tiny and does not have space to put things. The bed is lousy, the pillows too. The window is close to the floor but it is important because it is a historical building and very beautiful. The service is friendly and helpful. The parking should not even exist, it only has 4 parking spaces and is always used by people who come to provide some service to the hotel, generating stress and loss of time in and out, including getting out of the room to maneuver. The breakfast is simple but not bad, also not good enough. Anyway, I did not like it, I find it expensive for what it offers. The location is good and the building is beautiful but not comfortable.
1000 pesos entry fee but definitely worth the tour and admission to the bar. Drinks and food are reasonably priced. The meat plate is delicious
Very good service, comfortable, very beautiful and with history
An infallible place to visit, its architectural beauty will fascinate you, it is wonderful, then you can visit the hotel right there, your visit is included.
Cozy place everything very neat tidy and very tasty food.
The Hotel is very beautiful, it is in an old house and very beautiful, with historical value in the city. I found the room and bathroom very small and the bed uncomfortable. In the parking lot only 5 cars fit, at the end of the day it always gave a little confusion to park. The service is very cordial in all sectors, reception, governance and restaurant. The restaurant where breakfast is served is very beautiful, a work of art. The breakfast itself could be a bit better, but it is quite nice, great freshly made eggs, great breads, pastries and cakes on offer. Very good butter also available. I think the cheeses could be better, as well as the yogurts, and there might be milk candy on hand, plus something to drink with milk plus coffee.
The best of Calafate Sour and Ruibarbo Sour on Patagonia!
Miy good service, comfortable pieces and the location allows you to walk to several tourist places
Very good hotel The excellent attention !. In the flat restaurants are quite expensive, even evaluating the quality. Which is first d.
Beautiful building (perhaps the most beautiful and interesting in all of Punta Arenas) built in the colonial style, which inspires to dream.
As a hotel, the rooms are relatively small, but very romantic and above all clean! However, the simple breakfast leaves a lot of wishes open at the top. Since I am closely related to Polar research, a visit to the famous Shackleton bar was, of course, a "must" for me. Thumbs up for this great hostel; I like to relocate there.
It is amazing to stay in a hotel of this class and when looking for your money it is not in your bag. It is the pure truth. We were robbed at $ 1300 inside the hotel. Do not stay because you are a band of thieves.
Beautiful hotel from around 1905, in a central location, attentive staff and great breakfast.
Excellent hotel, staff attention and location, wonderful rooms and the museum too, beautiful internal bar, I could only say that the breakfast buffet can be more varied
The old place and full of history !! #
But especially the rest of the staff. Very warm and I request ... Excellent !!!!!
Club music played in the Shackelton bar. Terrible ambiance. Come for the watercolors but run from the food and music!
Excellent Hotel, in the center of Punta Arenas. Good attention!!!
A Hotel too Beautiful ... the building is an architectural relic..the exquisite breakfast.
It is alright. The rooms are nice with some space. The historical athmosohere is very nice and the service ok. However the breakfast is very very simple and the coffee is one of the worst I have ever tried. I think for the price, they could offer a much better breakfast
It is a great Hotel, very comfortable and excellent attention highly recommended ...
I only had drinks at the Shackleton bar inside the hotel. Nice bar.
Boutique hotel that rescues the architecture of yesteryear.
Good attention. Friendly staff, impeccable presentation. Very good food and comfortable rooms.
Large hotel with its rich history. Located a stone's throw from the city's Plaza de Armas. Excellent quality of service
Nice place to stay or eat, beautiful historic building in the city.
Excellent clean hotel, good attention from people, friendly. Nice rooms good heating. 100% recommended close to everything. In conclusion good experience
Wonderful place. Centennial history ... Museum to visit. Incredible furniture of those moments. Sara Barun. Your history, your furniture. So cute!
The hotel very comfortable. The room that touched me very wide!
Only the rest that they offer is not convenient, since they say book with 24 hours. And it is not very comfortable. They should offer the menu for the moment ... or in the morning for dinner .. Humble opinion ..
All very friendly! In the bar too. Very cordial!
Bad hotel, poor service and charge more than what you consumed.
Lacks more professionalism in aspects of customer service.
That good!!!
All alright!!
Greatest jacuzzi I had ever seen in my apartment bathroom
Very warm. The best of the winter garden. I love this hotel
The atmosphere, its tables and the best calafate sour of Punta Arenas
Hotel of great renown, strategically located ... however the service and attention to the client leaves much to be desired.
Breakfast assortment, but service staff very inattentive with the guests ... one should walk behind the waiters requesting things, in addition the kuchenes and other products Not entirely fresh, rancid butter, etc ...
I must admit that they give priority to cleaning ...
Staff on duty at reception, more concerned with internal administrative matters than meeting the requirements of the guests ...
staff (buttons) welcome inattentive with guests especially with older people ...
