Awarding 4 stars for value and quality of this hotel, in Paris! Hotels in Paris always seem to underwhelm but once you get a baseline, this one is rather nice for not being super expensive. Very friendly and attentive service, great location near the Arc and Metro 1 / RER A, big enough lobby and room (we had a superior room) for Paris standards. The business corner is a chair in a corner (but it's usable), the rollaway's mattress is only acceptable for kids (<50 lbs) and only barely. Bathroom deco is style over function (barn door offers 0 privacy, and other complaints). Had to ask twice to get new coffee pods for day 2 (Nespresso) but that was the only service glitch.

Outstanding service and great location!

Outstanding service and great location!

I have just spent 2 nights at the Intercontinental for a business trip.

Breakfast was very good, knowing that I am quite picky with food.
Rooms were neat and flawless, knowing again that I am quite demanding with regards to cleanliness.
Intercontinental has become definitely my favorite accommodation in the 8th arrondissement of Paris! Thank you so much for the pleasant stay!

The overall experience in france was terrible, the french treat tourists like trash. I come to france about every ten years for different occasions but each time is worse then last. It would be no more france for me, I had enough! Let karma take care it.

This hotel, by the way, is like a motel. It s way overpriced, it s one of the worst intercontinental hotel. I think they should take it out from the network.

Good location, but a tiny room, even for Paris. Worst hotel "gym" of any hotel I've stayed in. No treadmill, ancient exercise bike and stairclimber, squeezed into a broom closet. Not enough room to do a sit-up on the floor.

The hotel location is fantastic. You are a few blocks from the Arc and Champs. The staff was also very curteous and welcoming. Our room was very disappointing. The furniture was beat up, the bathroom door appeared to be an old room door that had a lot of damage, the carpet was stained, and we woke up to a rather large spider hanging out over our bed. We found several webs throughout the room. For $400+ a night I would have expected much more than this. Sure the location is great, but you can find nice Air bnbs in the area for less.

Big fan of this place. Super competitive prices for a 5 star but what really stood out was the service. Lovely people, every time I walked in or out I was greeted by name by whoever I came across. All was handled so efficiently and with care. Really recommend!

My room was pretty small. And I was also put on the smoking floor even though my reservation requested no smoking (though they did try to pretend it was a non-smoking room by putting a card stating as much in the room). And the bathroom situation was weird - there are sliding walls, and no door or air vent... So hopefully if you're staying with someone, you're really comfortable with them. Also, the shower floor is about 4-6 inches above the bathroom floor which nearly caused a wipeout. Bed was comfy. TV was small. Staff was great.

Fabulous staff!

Fabulous staff!
Thank you to the wonderful staff that greeted us on our arrival and made us feel so welcome! And thank you to Helene for the kind goodbye. They were all fantastic!
These Parisians are a reason to return to this city!

This is a great hotel, I have stayed at Intercontinental Hotels around the world except this one. I popped in for drinks and to kill some time before my trip. The staff was exceptionally well mannered and courteous. Everyone smiled and politely said hello. My next stay in Paris will be at this Hotel, no doubt about it.

It is a stones throw away from Champs Elysee and the Arc.

I'm a loyal IGH customer, I regret not staying here for my trip to Paris. But I know intercontinental Hotels, it is that you will be relaxed and comfortable always.

luxury and class; there are often famous people who are at this luxury place; most are all 5 stars but may drop in level if the staff is not up to par, but most remain in 5 stars; there are in all countries
