Madame Mony

Madame Mony
Mr. Francis
Ten stars!

This was actually more a business visit and the friendliness, cleanliness and beauty of the hotel made this my most favorite destination thus far in Lebanon.

Excellent price, delicious food. Warm staff, and very friendly.

Ten stars all around! Even Madame Mony offered me a special 1:00 pm late check out.

I wish more hotels in the Western Hemisphere had such warm hospitality.

The rooms have a very strong smell of chemicals, probably used in the furniture. If you rack your clothes in the closet you won't be able to wear them because of the strong smell of the said chemical. The WiFi connection is very poor and the speed is very slow. Breakfast is terrible that's why it's free. Gave them my laundry for wash and dry, they charged me for dry cleaning service and slapped me with a $60 fee on check out.

We, as a family, booked 2 rooms for 10 days: the Executive Suite & King Room with Spa Bath (Jacuzzi).

It was an amazing experience, much better than expected. The rooms were very clean and organized, great room service, very helpful staff and always available, secure & accessible underground parking, and a yummy room-service food.

It is very good value for money, we will repeat our visit soon!

Very gd service. Warm decor for winter. Jaccouzi is perfect for one person. Good breakfast buffet. Tv rightly placed in front of bed. Amenities were generous. Music of the restaurant below was a bit loud (i was on the fourth floor). Overall experience: Excellent.

Good location, the room is clean, there is a safe box in the room, king bed is comfortable, Jacuzzi is good, there is a set of towels, and towel bath rob, they offer two bottles of water and cafee and tea in the room. Price is cheap depending on the room. There is a breakfast from 7:30 till 10:30. Staff are friendly. You can park your car in the underground parking. The only not good is the sounds of the party in the hotel restaurant.

The worst of all is the bleak colors. The rooms are outdated and the noise of the music is heard. Midnight, the toilets are poor. When we wanted to go out, they refused because I asked for 5 nights and paid for two nights. I was asked to pay the right of 5 nights.

Not only did we feel at home but we felt like we were part of a family. The hospitality is top notch here. Excellent hotel, location is perfect and they provide many services! At every opportunity the staff and Owner, Gabriel, would offer friendly professional help, everything from taking our bags to our rooms, preparing food, assisting with directions, buying us medicine, directions to the best stores around, complementary tea, water fruits and water. The generosity and kindness was like no other hotel we have ever stayed at. Our room was decorated for our wedding anniversary and was newly renovated. Rooms are cozy with a balcony. A/C worked excellent and 24 hour concierge was reliable. There was free parking in a secure underground parking attached to the hotel. Gabriel and his staff went above and beyond for all of our needs. Gabriel, the charming owner of Grand Gabriel, was typically in the lobby nearly everyday with an organized staff tending to our every need. The food is delicious at his restaurant. They also have rental car services, gym, beauty salon, and foreign exchange services right in the hotel. At the end of our trip, they called us to make sure we arrived home safely in Canada.

The location is very close to many attractions in Lebanon, close to Beirut, Jeita Grotto and very accessible to the high to all other attractions

The week we came the hotel was giving away free tickets to a beach cabana resort called KOA valued around ($30USD) a person for free. We went and it was a blast! They even gave us extra towels for the resort without any hassles.

Only Cons would be Water pressure in the shower could be improved.

Bottom line, this hotel was one of my favorites with one of the best hospitality in all of Lebanon. (yes, all of Lebanon, not just Jounieh). I would highly recommend this place to any of my friends, family or strangers.
Even if the price was double I would still come back here.

Thank you to Gabriel, Jean and the rest of the staff for making our trip to Lebanon a memorable and comfortable stay!
