A beautiful hotel with a very unique decoration, lot of art, with a lot of history; the front desk staff are great very helpful, I had breakfast every morning at the cafe, unfortunately the another dining inside the hotel called Sparrow, after seating at the table with the intention to have dinner and have a good time with my friends, we were told that only 1.5 hour could stay, definitely a bad experience to have on this Hyatt Hotel. I feel unwelcome.

Everything about this place is 5 stars but your employees have made a lasting impression on us on our last two visits. Especially Ron I m sure this man is busy but he remembered us and our dogs from our visit almost a year ago. His service and friendliness is something we don t come across often so I really had to mention him. That man deserves a promotion. He s setting a really good example for everyone else. Thank you Ron and we ll be back again soon.

Wonderful place! My friends and I stayed at this hotel last weekend. This place was so amazing and relaxing. Their rooms are so wide and classy. We can say that this place is good for vacation and relaxation. We will surely visit this hotel again and again! Highly recommended to all those people who want to enjoy their vacation!

Honestly had a really great time here. They were able to allow us to check-in a few hours early. This made for a very comfortable stay. Room was a bit small (this should be assumed in DTLA) but had everything a hotel room needs for a great stay.

Overall the stay was pretty amazing the restaurant by the pool was the perfect way to relax and unwind after a long flight, the young lady with the cool colored hair and the manager with the UK accent who was full of suggestions of places to go where the perfect vibe to set the tone for our girls trip! I must say the tone was set by the bellman in this building when I say they were the most laid-back attentive personable gentleman you've ever met! Ron Manny Brian ROCK!!!!! BRIAN ACTUALLY GAVE US DRINK CARDS WHEN HE HEARD A LITTLE OF OUR CONVERSATION AT THE ELEVATOR AND WE WERE A LITTLE UPSET ABOUT KIND OF HOW WE SAW THE STAFF INTERACTING IN THE MAIN DINING ROOM THE GIRLS THERE SEEM TO BE MORE INTERESTED IN TALKING TO EACH OTHER THEN ATTENDING TO US AND THAT WAS THE OVERALL TONE IN THE BUILDING WHICH WAS A LITTLE UNSETTLING WE THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS A LA THING? And to my point when the front desk clerk hurt as mentioned that Brian gave us drink cards she kind of turned her nose up at it so again it was just a tone of the ladies kind of gave a different vibe than the gentleman the gentleman were there to give us actually the resort experience so speaking to that we pay the resort fee and it just didn't feel like a resort we paid to leave I paid a good amount of money for my room and the pool closed at 8:00 like we were children so by the time we were able to use it it was we couldn't so I paid a resort fee for features I couldn't even utilize. Recently I saw a travel advisor post about this location and I thought yeah I should definitely go back and post we happen to come on the weekend where there was an awards event so we started to see the celebrity staff start to come in and the tone kind of change in the building so that was really cool to see we also seen the attentiveness of the staff that was already there kind of change I would try this place again and hopefully maybe after covid the balance would be there but this trip I definitely have to say the men made or stay worth it one walked us halfway down the street just to give us like the back history of a restaurant we were thinking about going to that's how attentive they were it was just great energy!

Nice atmosphere and chill little lobby to have a few drinks even some food. There are 2 additional bars in the back and you can make reservations if you'd like to be guaranteed a table. Cool vibe a little bit of everyone passing thru. Just a short distance from LA Live and a block to The Pantry restaurant. There's a parking lot next door that had reasonable parking.

5 stars ! Everything is great ,from convenient valet parking ( roughly $50 a day ) but you get in and out privileges. It's worth it , we tried a lot but they don't always allow in and out privileges. When I first got here my room was gonna be 45 minutes to be ready so we were given 2 free drinks tickets for their Hotel bar called Magnolia. Excellent touch !. Nice bartenders- get the Eden cocktail with the mint in it. That was excellent . Housekeeping is awesome and always made the beds and replace water everyday . I give Housekeeping 5 stars . The pool is super chill and you can also order food and drinks out there and charge to room. Everyone is so nice. If you drink coffee they give you free coffee at 7 in the bar downstairs. There's a happening food scene down there too . A lively place
Hip crowd. Recommended .

Good spot to grab drinks. Great ambiance and good music. Food was average - service was very slow but could have been waitress specific and they ran out of salsa. How does thst happen at a Mexican restaurant?

Pretty good location to stay in. The hotel was beautifully designed and really had a great balance of a modern feel with vintage charm. Although well designed aesthetically, the single queen room was really small and not very practical. No towel racks and little furnishing other than a bed and one chair. However the bed was very comfortable and the room seemed very clean.

The boutique charm did not make up for the fact that the service was a bit disorganized and the front desk seemed to have gotten some details of our booking incorrect. We booked two nights well in advance, at least months ahead, and our key was deactivated after the first night. We were then asked if we had a back-to-back booking which we did not. They did reactivate our key without issue but it was inconvenient. Also, we did not expect house keeping daily, but did request fresh towels. We were given only one extra bath towel for two people.

I am giving three stars instead of two because the bell hop was very friendly and the waitress in the cafe downstairs was very pleasant. We had breakfast and it was pretty good without being ridiculously expensive. Overall though, I do not think I would book here again, as I feel I would be paying for the trendy atmosphere rather than the experience.

I've stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world. The junior suite I stayed in at Hotel Fig was designed in such a wonderfully comfortable, high end way, it left me feeling deeply desirous of a similar design in my home. I have stayed in very nice hotels that have amazing aspects like hot tubs in the balcony or luxurious spa like bathroom features. This was the first time though I wanted to live in this design. I've recently started shifting my hotel stays to favor Hyatt over Marriott where I'm able. This place illustrated just how good an idea that was.

The room has a very comfortable couch and chair in the living room area, a beautiful mosaic teardrop coffee table, and a stylish desk that had handy outlets for USB and three prong plugs. The bathroom had a walk in large shower with, and I had to look this up, a pebble stone floor that felt amazing on the feet.

Beyond the room I want to be cool enough to live in all the time, the staff were not just good and customer service trained. They are a step above type shop where you feel like they actually care about each of their customers. Like they are lucky to have you instead of the other way around.

Biggest bummer to plan for is the hefty price of $50 a night for parking. If you purchase the room with the parking though you save about 60%. Plan ahead if you can.

Finally I loved the bar as well but I did a separate review of that.
