Hotel Fasano Boa Vista Review

There is no way not to like it. Best hotel we stayed in Brazil. Everything is perfect. Last time we were particularly well attended. From booking, reception, pool bar, dinner, to breakfast. Every penny spent at Fasano is worth it. They take care of details as few hotels care about. We check in, use the suite and go for a bike ride. When we got back an hour later, they had already cleaned the room, changed the bins, replaced the seal on the toilet paper and opened the bed. These are small details but show the Hotel's commitment to the guest. Finally, what pleases us most is to see that the Hotel staff does not change easily. We are usually served by the same employees, like Eduardo at the Restaurant, who is already getting to know us.

Sophisticated hotel in gorgeous, well maintained spot.

I was only there for dinner and the food is wonderful, I ordered shrimp on the moranga and it was delicious, very tasty dish and the service is amazing, they are always very attentive to suit you and please you. Very helpful. As I sat outside to take in the view of the lake which by the way is beautiful, it was a little cold, and they offer you blankets which makes the place even cozier! Super recommend it!

I was torn when writing this review. On the positive side, we found the hotel to be quite beautiful with spacious rooms featuring stunning views, a striking great room / lounge, and a nice pond and pool.

We found the service to be very friendly, but it was not meticulous as you would expect from a hotel of this caliber and price range. For example, we made a pot of tea on the first night we got there, and the cleaning staff didn t replace the used pot for a clean one during our entire five day visit.

The property also needs a decent amount of maintenance since age is starting to show, but not in an elegant aged leather kind of way. The pool was really nice but it would fill up with the hotel s mid-week occupancy. I can imagine that it is probably tough to get a decent spot on the weekends.

Finally, the restaurant was inconsistent - some dishes were spectacular, the penne vodka and minestrone, while others were truly disappointing, the arugula salad with pear and goat cheese. Considering Fasano has such a deep culinary tradition, this was unexpected.

My rating here ultimately boils down to an assessment of value for money. This is a luxury hotel with a hefty price tag, it s a member of the Leading Hotels of the World. That s why I expected more from the service and facilities.

A lot of peace

It was great the experience, good service, great accommodation and very quiet

The facilities are beautiful, with spacious and bright environments. The room is quite large. The whole farm is beautiful. The big problem is in service and meals. These do not match the Fasano brand that I expected. We sat for 14 minutes waiting for someone to approach to continue the service. I brought a bottle of wine and upon arrival I asked someone to open it and let the wine breathe, but there was no one outside to answer. Vexatious. It was a very bad experience that I have no desire to repeat. Too bad, even more frustrating because it's his wife's birthday.

It's a paradise! The hotel is well located and has adequate infrastructure for couples and families who wish to contemplate nature and enjoy peace, quiet, gastronomy of excellence, a feeling of well being. All this surrounded by lots of greenery and gardens. Highly recommend!
