Really very nice hotel, great price for a 4 star hotel.
All established, excellent staff.

Good beds and rooms ok. Cleaning staff crammed in front of my room while I hung the do-not-disturb card on my door handle. Staff in restaurant completely inhospitable. Sent away twice because they were going to close in 5-10 minutes (hour or 9.30 pm !!!). The best were the cockroaches between the sliced slices of bread (under a glass bell jar) at breakfast. When I pointed this out to the waiter, he first got grumpy, took it away, and then came back with that same pile of sandwiches a moment later: I decided to take a fresh sandwich.

The best coffee in the city, good desserts and in the warmer months of the superb terrace along one of the main streets in Celje. Only service is not always the same quality, some staff is too careless.

Very centrally located. Although there were very few guests (Corona period) we got a small room with a very small bathroom. Bathroom in need of renovation and hallway quite dark. Coffee could be better.
Street parking available, even free on weekends.

It is a hotel with a colorful history and it is in an excellent location because it is close to the bus, railway, bank, post office etc. is practically in the center of the city. The offer is really varied with a wide variety of desserts, etc. The service is quick and quality.

Some rooms small. No air con. Church bells a pain during the night

It was okay but not decent enough because their restaurant service is very poor during the dinner. No one picks up your plate 20 minutes after you're done dining and they are, on one level, impolite to strangers and refuse to talk other languages fluently.

The service is quite slow, but the sour cherries are worth a little wait.

Very good cakes. However, the impression is spoiled by the fact that with two (2) guests you wait for coffee for an unreasonably long time. With two waiters and two girls at the coffee machine.

Ive just come back from sitting in their coffeeshop for quite a while, with the waiter thoroughly ignoring me. He talked to two other guests... And completely overlooked two more (me included) who never got served). We both stood up and left, obviously. If a business doesn't want out service then it's their loss. Let me stipulate that it's impossible for him to not see me.

I would urge you to stay well clear of all places like this in Slovenia that reek of communist lethargy. Slovenes are better than this - let us be better by refusing to offer business to places like this.

Central location in the immediate vicinity of the station. Friendly staff partly German speaking. Tasty food. Negative: our rooms were on the 4th floor, windows only as a skylight, barely open. From Saturday morning the elevator was broken, which remained until departure on Monday

Serving as appropriate. The food was delicious and quantitatively just large portions (a La Carte). We had our own space in the old tower, which further enriched our lunch.

We were fooled by the positive reviews ... the positive first: location and breakfast. But: the rooms are very small (deceptive photos), as is the bathroom. In addition, the shower tray was "cracked" and the joints were moldy. Rooms 101-106 face the side street - a disadvantage, as we noticed. From 7:30 a.m., sleep was out of the question, obviously the side street is also a delivery zone. Despite the closed window, the noise was heard. Open windows were not an option at all, due to the noisy air conditioning units in front of it ... breakfast in corona times is served in the square, rolls, baguette and a lot of sausage, but delicious. Egg dishes are freshly prepared on request. Although there were very few guests, certain things simply weren't replenished, e.g. Fruit or cereal. The juice is watery.

The sophisticate athmosphere is well supported by a good choice of meals with main dishes that can be combined with a lot of side dishes. Everything comes in generous portions and well served.

Best hotel in Celje. Very nice room. Professional and friendly staff. Good restaurant. Ideal central location. Only lost one star because the orange juice at breakfast is made from powdered concentrate (yuck !).

A nice, peaceful and well-arranged cafe. One of the oldest in Celje. They have great desserts and great coffee. It's best known for cherry cake. I recommend visiting. Always. Prices are moderate.

Very rude waiter named Franc, he was acting rude to me and my friends at the beginning because we said that we need more time to look at the menu. And then when we ordered we said if we can get a receipt and we said that we wanted to pay individually AND HE TURNED AROUND AND SAID AHHHH SURE (He said that in a very mean way like we annoy him and he thought we didn t heard him but we all did! And he didn t bring us a receipt and we went to him and said if we can pay and he was there just waiting for money he didn t gave us a receipt and didn t said the price, he was just staring at us.

The first time we came to the restaurant the food was delicious, the surroundings itq top, nice everything as it can be. The second time I got pasta strained in oil served on the table. For such a price, this should not happen. In the end, the waiter didn't even drop the bill. He didn't even apologize. They exaggerate the prices, but for the hotel I don t know how and what.

Nice hotel in the center. Modern, good food, nice to sit. I liked and will come again.

Classic cherry cake, otherwise quite a retro style of rooms and service.

The sweets/dessert are very delicious, a must to try. Recommend.
