Hotel Evropa 4* Review

Hotel is quite old (advertised as second oldest in Slovenia) but well renovated and maintained. Room that we stayed in was not very large, but well kept. Staff was really helpful and nice, breakfast a bit limited in variety but reasonable and fresh. Wi-fi was fast and provided good coverage. Parking in front of the hotel was in the shade and under video surveillance. Hotel is located in the city centre and all main tourist attractions as well as pubs and restaurants are within easy walking distance.

It was good by the service itself, but I'm not the best satisfied where I made the pancakes, but I got cold very badly for such a well-known hotel?

The room was ok just to sleep over, it doesn't offer any comfort, it works cold. Cleanliness basic, employees very friendly and helpful.

Super young staff working hard for the guest. A new young leadership that is gaining experience but with joy, dedication and diligent work, the hotel's level will be maintained. The food is still delicious, and the December offering (even outside) is interesting, wide and varied. The December cake was also excellent.

Great cafe, very good cakes and ice cream in the summer.

They were nice, breakfast more than good! It is in the city center, the ideal place to stop from Hungary to Italy or southern Croatia if you want to start your deserved vacation on Friday, after work late at night or even in the evening!

Hotel Evropa has 4 stars and is located in an excellent location in the center of Celje. There is a train and bus station nearby. The hotel and its confectionery are very popular due to the excellent offer and ambience and very friendly staff. It all works on a higher level, which is very good.

The hotel looks really nice from the outside and in the common areas. However, my room 202 was much less beautiful, without good finishes, abused and with the carpet necessarily to be replaced. The staff was extremely kind and extremely helpful in helping me! Breakfast good, not 4-star though.

The Europa Hotel itself is located almost in the heart of the city, close to the train station and many attractions worth visiting. The rooms are small but clean and tidy. Top-notch service, delicious food and large portions. The hotel itself has a cozy ambience as the hotel has a long tradition that it has maintained for a very long time. It is also a reasonably priced venus that makes one feel comfortable in it. Congratulations just so on. I recommend a visit to the hotel!

Best place for a cup of coffe, cakes and ice cream and to blend with city, to relax for a moment, gain some energy, get that feeling of Celje's city centre, and if you're lucky you just may come when they have concerts with famous or local musicians...

Staff very friendly, food good, especially desserts in the cafe.

We used to wait 10 minutes for an order, but it took 20 minutes to bring us waffles and water

Not worth the excessive high price . Never seen that tiny rooms befor . 4 star hotel does not deserve more then 2 maybe . Rooms for 2 are so small its impossible to walk passed each other , beds are small and very uncomfortable . Expencive breakfest , nicer things are gone fast ( 20 minutes after start ) and not being refilled . Staff did not make us feel welcome !

Very good, nice ambience and friendly service. Above all, we did not get the feeling that little children were unnecessary annoyance.

Given the large attendance, it is unacceptable to have only 2 waiters serving outside and inside. We waited a very long time. First that we could order, then for drinks, then for food ... the kids were already very impatient. The desserts are excellent, but in the end there is a bitter aftertaste. I think the owner could afford another waiter.
