DUTCH:
I rented a room with my partner for 2 people for 2 nights. We had a good time at De Rustende Jager, with a good (but not very special) breakfast, and found the staff to be friendly. The room was neat with a somewhat classic older style, but don't expect special situations. In summary it was nice but not overwhelmingly luxurious.

ENGLISH:
My partner and I have 2 nights in a room for 2 in 'The Resting Hunter' ('The Resting Hunter'). We had a good stay, with good (but not too special) breakfast, and kind staff. The room was clean with a vintage style, but don't expect to be overwhelmed with luxury. All in all, it was nice to stay at De Rustende Jager, but not too luxurious.

Dog friendly hotel, very clean, courteous staff. Only the breakfast that needs to be paid extra could be better. Anyway, recommended for a short trip. Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and the Keukenhof, all nearby. And the sea is not far either

On average a room should cost 65 per night (see booking sites in the review). That was 150 for a couple around 80 years old! While booking via the internet, they had just called the RJ. "Yes you will get breakfast with it" At check in; breakfast there ?; no, you pay and you pay 150. Manager who was there; I can't do anything for you against the son. Son is out of the picture: manager: I get 1 breakfast for free. What a cow trade; And promise by phone. Cool, arrogant attitude on the spot. Oh yes, and how proud you are of your company if there are 10+ local drink brothers at the restaurant bar. They receive more attention, respect and service than grandpa and grandma of 80!

The hotel is very nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food in the restaurant is very good and the atmosphere of the bar invites you to linger. The hotel also has a jazz room is very nice and the music is very good and it can also be danced. The rooms are small but very clean and well equipped. Unfortunately, the mattresses are very soft and the water in the bathroom can not be adjusted well. Therefore only 4 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to my next visit. P.S. : The fish in the restaurant very good!

Though hotel restaurants usually are not cost not good this place is the exception! The restaurant is decorated in a brasserie style which gives it a warm and nice feeling. It comes with a proper bar on which you can have a drink or some snacks. Dinner is simply perfect with large portions and great quality.
If you in need for a restaurant or hotel then don't take an overpriced one in Amsterdam, but go to this place instead!

Very nice to eat there once. The Christmas days are also well taken care of. The possibility to stay overnight in the hotel is nice if you also want to drink something with alcohol. Very much parking space.

Restaurant that belongs to the hotel. They have a monthly buffet offer of 8.50 euros.
Spareribs buffet was nice, nothing special. You are in a large hall full of tables. Not very cozy. Simple but excellent buffet: spare ribs, fries, baguette with garlic butter, sauces and lettuce and tomato. One spare ribs are better than the other.
Friendly person, drinks go to collection form and pay at the reception.
