Great little hotel. Extremely friendly staff. Very clean.

This hotel, with very hospitable owners, has a perfect location. From this location, all sights / shops and eateries can be reached on foot.
Our (bath) room was clean and tidy down to the last detail,
and the breakfast delicious!
Really recommended !!

Helped very friendly, we were 2 hours early but that was no problem.
close to the center and free parking (from Hotel). Clean room with nice shower and

My mother and I stayed overnight at the hotel on July 26 and we were very pleased!
The room was very neat and clean.
The restaurant also looks very well cared for.
And furthermore the breakfast was neatly arranged.
We will definitely come back!

Located near the center of Hoorn, this hotel is well managed, clean and offer big appartment for family. The one we got was on second floor without elevator and with spiral narrow stairs - a big minus. Although, we had great time as the hotel served us for star trips to texel, alkmaar, amsterdam, zansse and more.

Very clean hotel with friendly staff. Really attention is paid to this hotel and everything is well maintained. The breakfast is super fresh and fairly extensive. The staff and the owner are very helpful and if you have any questions you can ask them.

First impression of the staff was by phone. Not impressed. I called to let them know that I would be in late. They said that they were not going to get no sleep for coming in late. Not a nice way to welcome somebody to your place.there is limited parking so be prepared. Room had a few spiders on the wall. The picture for water does not fit in the refrigerator door? Hmm. No welcoming snacks plain Jane kitchen. Traffic at the front of the building is fast be careful if you have kids....

Very centrally located small hotel with very good opportunities to walk to the interesting parts of the village. Single room very small and only accessible via a steep staircase. Breakfast absolutely fine.

I highly recommend the Hotel de Magnet. Price and performance are in good ratio, especially the proximity to the center and the sights is very good. The breakfast is adequate, the rooms clean and enough to stay overnight.

Nice, clean room, comfy bed, modern bathroom, easy and free parking, delicious breakfast, very helpful and gracious host, power outlet next to TV. Very short and pleasant walking distance from Hoorn city center. This feels more like a warm and cozy bed&breakfast than a hotel.

Live opposite and have contact with the owners. They are the most hard-working people I know. Very helpful very professional. Hotel location is great city centre, harbour, park, beach, cinema, restaurants all a few minutes walking distances ranging between 2-15 minutes. Parking available. Recently renovated.

Booked family room, consisted of 2 separate rooms with 2 toilet / shower.
That's not a problem, but it wasn't clean. Dirty sealant seams. Really overdue maintenance. Old-curved.
Broken bed linen. Dirty floor / stains.
Decorative pillows on the bed were stained.
We will certainly not go there again. When we had to pay, not even the question of how it was like.
Too bad, if they pay a little more attention to the interior. Then it could be a nice hotel (because it is small), despite the busy road.

Top hotel where you can stay during a weekend in Hoorn, good parking and close to the inner city. Also neat rooms. Really recommended

As a family with two teenagers, we booked a four-night short break at the Hotel de Magneet in Hoorn NL.
The greeting was very warm and we moved into our room (number 15).
The four-bed room, we booked it that way, is on the upper floor and has sloping ceilings and skylights.
The room is not huge, but it was enough for our short stay in terms of size and it is very clean.
In general, there could be more storage space, both in the room and in the bathroom.
The beds are very comfortable.
The towels were changed every day and the bathroom was cleaned.
The breakfast can also be rated very positively.
There is a large selection of bread, cold cuts, crumble and jam and orange juice freshly squeezed every day.
We didn't miss anything.
If we would describe something as not good, then it was an unpleasant smell that entered our room one evening.
We couldn't make out where he was from and the next day he wasn't there either.
But the hotel can't do anything about that.
The location of the hotel is super central and yet quiet. It has a small parking lot.
The boss and the employees were very friendly and attentive and always tried to please the guests.
We had a great vacation and Hoorn is definitely worth the trip.

Nice spacious clean family room with balcony and a nice view. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Location also ideal! Near center and nature. I just missed a parking spot in front of the door. He was soon full and had to walk a long way.

Great hotel! We had the apartment and stayed there as a family. The guests were extremely nice and helpful, everything was clean and nicely decorated, the breakfast buffet comprehensive and delicious. Even with children no problem at all, everything was very warm and comfortable. Price also absolutely ok for the performance. Can I recommend it!

Location close by everywhere but just out of the bustle + private parking (parking in Hoorn not that simple), simple but cozy room, nice shower, great breakfast. Share rooms on the ground floor, useful if you are less mobile. Good value for money.
