HOTEL CLARKS VARANASI Review

Very costly ,food is not good , rooms are ok , swiming is only good ie i give 2/5

Good hotel for all type of function and a lovely place to stay. As it is near to railway station, on Airport road, near to JHV mall, their are also good options in surrounding but it's good in budget.

We stayed here in September, walking in off the street after a bad experience in another hotel. Our stay was wonderful. We had an early flight on the day we checked out and accidently paid for the room twice. Upon realising this we contacted GM Satyajeet, who apologised for the mistake and arranged for a full refund, which we received when we returned to Australia. So impressed with this professionalism and honesty.
Thanks once again to all staff for their top class service.

My Experience there is Almost Fantastic.
They call this a 5 star though... still need some hospitalities which a 5 hotels provide.
Whatever, A hotel situated at a good locality , ambience is Fine, behaviour of staffs also Good.
You may Go for it if None other better options Left.

All the best way is to get the old man (Old Man) bilkul way less hai ....

Had a bad start with the hotel but Mr. Divesh Pathak , Rooms Manager, was so co operative that it changed my initial concept of the hotel. The property is in a great location and the service team, be it front office, house keeping or catering , are very caring and make sure you are happy.
The rooms are well laid out, the lobby is huge and has a casual atmosphere to relax. There is ample parking and next door there is a huge mall. The food is delicious and the menu is good and reasonable for a quick bite or a lavish spread.
The rooms are spacious with choice of superior room to a junior suite. Recommend the suite, its worth the price.
Sanjay from Food and Beverage is another name that comes to mind. Very helpful in choosing the menu for your meal and caring for you with a smile. Divesh and Sanjay, made our stay at the hotel an extremely memorable experience

Clarks is a good place for occasions , outside space is good but inside the hall is lil small , but its a decent place and quality place to stay n visit.

Expensive hotels of varanasi but it's one time visit place too if u have money then u can go for marriage in it

Rooms where old. A lot of noise from the road. Very slow with check in.

Nice heritage feel, nice staff, multiple halls, poolside ground, tasty food

I Currently Work Here, Though The Place Looks Like It's From 1947, It Has All The Modern Amenities & Services, Though Needs A Revamped Makeover Now!

I booked two rooms via Make My Trip, for which I requested for guest name change for the second room which wasn't done by the time we reached hotel. Anyways, we manual asked to change the name of second guest and hence the second guest was a female who submitted her document, she had internet problem in sending her another doc via mail to hotel so she "WhatsApp" (messenger) to the receptionist (Vishal Bhardwaj), the fiver star hotel "The Clark" employee.

This is complain is not regarding "How was the stay and everything which was anyways average" but against the molestation and stalking case.

Today's 8/23/2016 after a week, The Clark Hotel, Varanasi's employee name Vishal Bhardwaj (fb id: facebook dot com/vishal.bhardwaj.71697?fref=ts) molested and stalked my female friend who were also staying with me that day. This hotel's employee stalked her and molested her on WhatsApp.

I was shocked that how come a 5 star hotel employee misusing the data provided there for check in, is using it for stalking and molestation.

I am thinking to take this action legally, and complaining this to make my trip.

Dont even consider this hotel for your stay. There are tens of hotels better in terms of rooms and service on the same road!!!!!! These people just want to rip off money.. what they show on the websites and what the rooms are in reality are nowhere matched. Oldest rooms . Found insects. Hotel does not live upto what they promised. Below average. Below 3 star.

Value for money, nice spacious rooms, speedy room service, food quality needs bit of improvement..

Offline they denied for couple which is strongly wrong but by online you can get the room.

Don't go by the brand, people and service aren't that friendly. In hospitality industry the staff over here needs to learn and upscale key points of customer service and satisfaction.
Rest, food is okay it's not that bad but could be better, swimming pool is not one of the best you'll get as in other Clark's hotel chain, rooms are neat and interiors are something appreciable.

The hotel should not be a 5 star. It's more of a 4 star property.
