HOTEL CLARKS VARANASI Review

It's a very good and old hotel but not very well kept, the staff is not responsive and old rooms are not good.

One of the oldest property. Provides all services. Needs a contemporary make over and a refreshed look.

Best place to stay in Varanasi. Oldest star hotel but very well maintained. About 2 km away from Varanasi Cantt railway station but have to go out from backside I platform no.9. From airport it's just at entrance in the city.

All menu items are not available , bar not fully functional

Restaurant is good...foods are delicious...i personally liked the bar and its theme...staffs were professional...parking availability is good..just i think building need to be more furnished more ..

Best food, as standard of living according to 4star hotel

Highly disappointed. Went for dinner after almost 3 decades to celebrate birthday of wife. Terrible food.

Rooms are very old n bad as per the price they are charging. Totally disappointed. The food for the wedding was great though.. N arrangement as wel. So i m not sure whether it was in house or cateres from outside..The coffee served was extremely bad.. N tea as well.

Over rated hotel... Totally run down... Stinking rooms and carpets... High humidity... Poorly maintained... Restaurant is also not serving fresh foods... Overall extremely poor experience...

All the amenities are fine, Room service is also good. Few foods quality in Buffet is not as good as per hotel standard. But varieties are there. Rest all fine...It was am amazing stay...Hope for next visit.

It is not far from the center, and that is good because the center is crazy, and as a 5 star hotel it is very good.

A decent hotel with above average features, located in the cantonment area of Varanasi. Nothing exceptional, but not too mediocre either. The rooms are clean and tidy, but the bathrooms are a bit small in proportion. Room service is strictly average, the bar is a very limited affair and the breakfast spread is also just average. The attitude of the service staff can be improved and there is no free Wi-Fi. The plus point for the hotel is the location and budget. But with properties like Radisson and Taj just next door and down the corner respectively, location is not a huge USP! Just ok for a business traveller.

Built 200 years ago by the British. Good service, clean rooms, good food, good staff.
