HOTEL CAMPANILE ANTWERP Review

Rather shabby and not of the standard we had come to expect from others we had stayed at. The room was tired and the corridors poorly lit. Breakfast was served for an additional 12euros in what could only be described as a functional area.
Bicycle storage in the lobby was welcomed by us but I don't know if the other guests would be so impressed.

Badly air-conditioned room, it was terrific heat. Do not think about taking a bath in the tub ... a 3 year old child would not make it because she is so small ...

Crappy hotel. Broken showers that have to wait a week to be fixed. Dingy hallway. Rusted trash cans. No AC, not even a fan. Carpet stinks. Really worn out facility. If you've never known what a bedspring feels like, you will know for sure at the Campanile.

Staff at the desk were very friendly and the shower water was very soft. For the rest, unfortunately I can't really be positive. 109 for a room, where there is no minibar, where you can only watch Vitaya on TV because all other posts are disrupted, where you have no stop for the sink, where you can only enter at 4:15 pm instead of 3:00 pm because the cleaning team has not yet was ready (and the hotel was understaffed), where the bed was so hard that I got up in the morning with a backache, where the elevator doesn't work, where furniture seems and is outdated, ... that's way too expensive. I have quite a big experience with hotel rooms, this one was disappointing and for me was definitely not worth more than 60 . There are better hotels near Vilvoorde and Diegem for about the same price or even cheaper. I thought this would be ok because I thought it would be a hotel for business people given its location, unfortunately not worth repeating. Desk clerk was very friendly, thank you.

Little care, no restaurant at the weekend, little care details and no air conditioning

Near the airport. The restaurant serves excellent dishes. The car is parked behind a barrier.

The bathroom fan was so loud, and needed to close 2 doors to block the noise when sleeping.

HOTEL IS ALWAYS IN THE YEAR. But all in all OK. The breakfast was good but nothing special. Beds and bedding great. Showers unfortunately in the bathtub. Shower curtain sticks to the butt. Location near railway and airport ...

Everything okay is old but room was clean and breakfast was okay. Everything is dated. Station nearby and airport.

The Hotel is situated closely to the train station and that is very convenient. Maybe that is the only positive thing to mention. The room was small, but that is not the biggest issue. The point is that in relation to the price the size of the room is a mismatch. Above this comes that the Wifi was of a not so good quality. Internet connectivity was therefore bad and very slow. Finally I gave up and went to bed, where in the morning I was kept out of my sleep because of the noise of a love making couple in a nearby room. Next thing was the television channels which were very limited and seemingly set to the preference of the hotel management and not catering to the customer's preferences.
The big disappointement was that in this whole room there was only one outlet to plug in your comuter charger or whatever you need electricity for. That was very disturbing and frustrating.
In my final conclusion is that for a room with the size and quality like this, the price of 107.50 per night is way too high. And despite all the issues mentioned in many reviews and the promises made by the hotel, nothing has happende to improve the service because things are still the same.

Very poorly maintained,bathrooms are below what you would ever call a hotel bathroom, old dusty carpets,poor service and in spite of all this,prices are outrageous! In the second picture you can see the bathroom ceiling,absolutely gross. Worst hotel experience I have had.

Signage to review to arrive, no heating in the bathroom, spicy dish, bread not fresh and provision of trays to review, friendly staff but French difficult!

Very close to the airport. With train station 300 meters and bus stop opposite. Good breakfast and parking.

Appearance from the outside does not match the rooms. They may have a maintenance check.

Poorly designed bathroom and room, constant humming as well, creepy AF, but the vegetarian burgers are great and so is the old waitress. She's honest and funny as hell.

Very friendly staff in restaurant. Only very annoying that there was no hot water to shower in the morning. Not such a problem, but it is surprising that no settlement is made in the settlement to compensate for this. Of course you can't expect much for that price.

Everything is there perfect room nice little room and sourtout cats are welcome too, breakfast ok also just the price for me personally a bit expensive ??? But that's my personal opinion

For less than 50 that it cost me every night you can't ask for anything more.
Comfortable and clean rooms.
Friendly staff and a very very good parking for cars.
3 minutes walk from the train station that takes you to the city center in 15 minutes.

I arrived at night. The night receptionist very, very friendly. He even made me a coffee when it was going to be 1:00 am. In the morning, the opposite. I arrived within 5 minutes of finishing breakfast and they said no. There was no way. When leaving and leaving the key we had to wait a lot of time. In the end we left the key on the counter because I was in a hurry. Not very kind the morning shift repionist.

Terrible hotel, window almost fell out, dirty toilet, dirty shower / bath, bad bed, dirty carpet, clean sheets, did not dare to eat in the hotel and left in the morning after our stay as soon as possible. A big nightmare and we will never go back here, yuck!

The kitchen was closed during the entire stay, 9 days, inadmissible and intolerable!

Old. Rooms and bathroom against the unhygienic dirty. Even the extremely cheap overnight stay outweighs that.

Slept and eaten at the hotel several times, it kept on falling ... rooms are old and paint is coming off the walls. The restaurant is limited and the food is disappointing. Breakfast is dry and without taste. The staff is very friendly but otherwise the hotel is really disappointing. I cannot understand that they have received three stars.

Cheap booked on the internet (40 per night). Clean but we feel that the hotel is old.

Worst hotel ever! (for its price; 89,00 euros/night + 11,50 euros breakfast) Internet connection, null. I cannot even send an e-mail for my work. Manager not polite. Old furnitures. Small rooms. Restaurant prices pretty expensive. Breakfast, ok.

I've been dying for a day before I paid the room and after I returned to the truck the second day was an indescribable mess without sleeping in it. And at the reception he said it was not his problem that I had to check yesterday. It's bad.

Really old terrible hotel if you can call it a hotel at all. Dirty bathroom. Old bathroom. Old room. Ad on top of all very expensive. Just because it's near the airport I guess. Without breakfast I paid 115 euro 1 night dubbel bedroom. Slow internet.

The 3-star hotel is difficult to find in the dark or in the rain. Parking is free. Within walking distance of the station with good connections with Brussels. The indoor restaurant is reasonable. Breakfast is available for a reasonable amount. Bed and bathroom are OK.

OK hotel close to Brussels. Close to train station, but make sure you get a room on the opposite side as trains are quite noisy. Room ventilation too loud and TV channels did not match the leaflet in the room. Breakfast is too simple, yet enough to fill you up.

Really a work hotel. Early in the morning a good breakfast buffet. Restaurant with a limited menu but spacious and tasty. Handsome rooms just a pity that there is no air conditioning or fan.

Very friendly staff, operating the trusted Campanile formula. The building is not new anymore, but apart from that it is very clean and tidy.

Very bad, the breakfasts were from 6.30h. at 9.30. and at 8.30. There was little left and they did not replenish for the guests who came down at 9.00. Threat of paying a fine of 500 if you smoked in the room and do not have a place for it, only the entrance (on the street). They also did not change the sheets and the last night with just a set of towels for both of them. Not recommended, unfriendly staff facing the public.

Hotel very correct, very welcome, breakfast and nice restaurant. By cons a little isolated.

Great hotel. Basic but great value for money. Stayed here for one night after surgery in Brussels and it did the job. Was lovely and clean and our evening meal in the restaurant was delicious! Breakfast not so good very basic continental and a little overpriced but lined our stomachs. Would return again in the future.

First time on hotel due nmbs strike. They were fine. I've only been there to sleep but didn't have any complaints.
