Surcharge paid because it is a four star hotel, however, I think this is not worth 4 stars. Bathroom had mold, two single beds instead of 1 double bed, no minibar, beds constantly moved apart, general hygiene was just not okay. Reported this at the end of my stay and therefore received a bottle of wine. In brief; no more fletcher for me, skeerste 4 star hotel ever

Beautiful location from which we have done a beautiful rural hill training day on the Posbank with all Handbikers who take up the great challenge of the HandBikeBattle in the Kaunertal in Austria: length 20km, with 1000 meters height. June 14, 2018.

There were strange stains in one of the (white) towels, they reminded me of blood stains that had not gone out. I would really throw this towel away if I were the manager. Moreover, on day 2 there had been no room service (either coffee / tea and shampoo not supplemented)

Furthermore, a spacious room and a nice location. But due to, among other things, the odd spots no more than 3 stars for me.

Too bad you can't just get a hamburger sandwich with fries or other tasty things in the restaurant. The menu card does not go that far yesterday we were at the Peerstable and there was half the hotel, which means something. So if you have more choices than they will stick with your food gr.maarten

Wonderful hotel complex, first class facilities, extraordinary service, is within an impressive natural space, romantic and large, ideal for resting, hiking, weddings and anniversaries, is a four star, but you can say which is equivalent to a five, as a place is incomparable, contains sports facilities and has a heated pool.

I expected a tidier hotel, room is very dirty and dirty, no air conditioning, no fridge. You can order room service but for a fee of 7.50. Fortunately we only stay 2 nights. Surroundings and location are very nice, but that is the only advantage. Food is okay. For children, it is safe to place an outside play area, I miss that for families with children. This is the 1st and last time for me.

Nice staff, nice pool and sauna, spacious room just a pity that the finish leaves a bit to be desired. We slept in room 321 there, fog and plinth on the ceiling of the toilet. And in the bathroom there are many holes in the wall, but nowhere a hook to hang your clothes on.

Hotel was good. Shower very powerful, wifi acceptable and the beds were so soft that you sunk into them also the rooms have underfloor heating which is definitely a novelty in a hotel.

Downsides: Room was too hot, the thermostat setting on the wall did not do much, The room was 2 single beds pushed together not 1 double.

The real negative at this place is the restaurant. Service is poor, food standard is sub par. One member of our party had soup, they told the waitress..."this soup has no taste" waitress returned soup to kitchen she returned " yes the chef taste and agree...this soup has no taste" I ordered mixed grill, meat was dry, the corn looked overdone in a microwave it was really really poor.

Lunch service had a selection of cheap juices way to much sugar and not enough fruit, the bread used on the sandwiches did not taste fresh and would actually be considered stale.

For such a great location the restaurant really lets this place down. Would not be back

Room very noisy was a door to the next room so you can hear the other guests verbatim, in addition, the door in the hallway slams shut. (and it was often used)
Breakfast buffet was good only there were no whole wheat / brown buns / rolls. Even after being refilled there were none !!

Last Friday and Saturday I was allowed to spend the night in this hotel. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location and has great facilities including a bicycle that you can rent. There was nothing communicated about the key that we had to hand in, so we automatically assumed that we were allowed to return the keys at check out. After all, we were due to check out that Saturday at 1 p.m. we had opted for a late check out. That Saturday we first call to ask if we want to return the keys and fifteen minutes after that the doorbell rings with; "Housekeeping" to which we did not respond, after which the lady just entered our room and asked if we could return the keys. In my opinion this is downright rude and that is not how customers can be treated.
This arouses mistrust among customers and violates privacy.
No service!

From the reviews from before, not much has been learned and Avegoor is doing nothing about it. Dirty room, loose paint on the ceiling, broken shower hose, dirty floor, lots of dust, etc. etc. Nice breakfast and really slept when the shutters were closed. Hugging is not convenient because the box springs are on wheels. So bring spa straps.
Maybe pay the staff a little better for cleaner rooms
4 stars ?
No, it is not. 2 stars is neat !!

Estate in Avegoor

Estate in Avegoor

As a frequent hotel visitor, I have been asked to write an extensive review. The package has been booked at Hotelmoment.

This review will be scheduled later on in various media, but will give Fletcher the opportunity to respond first.

-------------

Landgoed Avegoor is a hotel of the Fletcher group. The face and entrance look chic and clean. The receipt and check-in was a bit difficult, because our reservation for a 3-day package had not come through, while we did receive a confirmation of receipt by email. After half an hour and maybe some shuffling back and forth, the receptionist came to report that it had been arranged. This gives a stress point after a car ride of 120 km.

Our room was on the first floor, directly off the entrance hall and elevator. It was very noisy here, so we woke up at least 3 times during the night. The rooms are dated and still have overdue maintenance, such as pieces from the wall, cracks and paint that is coming off. What struck me is that the Fletcher group still works with carpet and sometimes also high pile. This too is unsanitary and very outdated. Probably not a priority. There were also stains on the entire couch where my UV lamp indicated what this could be! (See picture)
Except for the couch and pillowcase, the rest of the room was clean!

Our package consisted of 2 nights with breakfast and a 3-course dinner.

The reception in the restaurant was fine, we were brought to a table and given the menu. From the 3-course dinner, we can choose from six starters, 4 main courses and 3 desserts.

The value of this 3-course dinner is 32.50 pp. Add to this the drink bill of 31.95 and the total is 110

Everything was well flavored, but with the main course it was noticeable that it was just too long on the warm plate or had been placed under the heat lamp. The sauce and mash had already dried and the potato gratin had become crispy.

What was striking is that the a la carte guests were offered a bread board.

As Mirna Goossen recommends the Fletcher group at Business Class ...... I was not allowed to experience it that way. This is our fifth visit to a Fletcher Hotel in 3 years, but probably our last!

The total amount of our stay 289

Advice for the Fletcher Group treat the guests with an arrangement the same as the other guests. Do not look at a sandwich with all the restaurant guests and do not delay maintenance of the rooms.

Total grade 6.0

Pros:

Friendly and cheerful staff
Taste and portion of dishes restaurant
Entrance, lounge and bar.
Location of the hotel

Cons:

Overdue maintenance of rooms.
Selectivity arrangements
Dirty furniture.

I'm sure the Fletcher group can do a lot better!

-----------

Fletcher has responded and explained the current situation. Renovation is underway and other points are also being improved.

Good location.

Good location.
Good size pool. Lockers didn't work. Towels need to be collected from main reception.
Rather dirty throughout.
Mediocre service, apart from a young attentive waiter, Dylan. Mediocre menu and meal.
Breakfast was the best part. Good variety of choice. Fresh orange juice.

The hotel is dated

The hotel is dated
The rooms are poorly maintained and smell musty.
The food was nothing short of bad. It has been a long time since I have eaten so tasteless.
The staff is stiff and certainly not set up to please the guest.
This hotel is definitely not recommended, more of a recommendation.

Smallscale hotel with good restaurant and frie dly staff..Pretty modern interiour and nicely kept gardens.Checking in was a drama in my opinion, standing in line in a corridor isnt that nice. When the congress rooms are fully occupied, it can be rrally busy.

Beautiful building, especially at the front, a lot less well cared for. Room was dingy, stains in the sofa, carpets and on the doors and that in corona time. Beds made messy, lamp without hood and kettle dusty and still full of water. Bathroom fairly clean, tissues on. Barking dog in the hallway near the rooms. At dinner, the bread basket was forgotten beforehand, and the waitress regularly dropped cutlery, which was left on the floor for a long time. No knowledge about the ingredients of dishes and whether there was fresh orange juice. Pay directly, not to put on room number. The breakfast served corona friendly, but the cup of butter was sour and crazy liquid. The organization internally leaves much to be desired. All this didn't ruin our weekend. They were certainly very friendly there. But 4 stars does not seem to me.

Nice building, neat and spacious rooms in a nice environment. A pity that you have to be in the next village for the shops. Friendly and helpful staff and breakfast is great! Dinner did not use it since the choice was fairly limited. Furthermore, this hotel is highly recommended!

Other reviews give recognizable negatives. The beautiful location allows this hotel to sell itself. The small lobby / reception area stands out upon arrival. The lady does indeed talk too much, this can be more professional, her service is sufficient. The big downside is the kitchen. We chose the touted sole here but it was so tough that the fish meat could be scraped off the bone with great effort, while it should fall off gently and effortlessly. We suspected that the fish was thrown frozen and not thawed first. It would be good if Gordon Ramsay gave the kitchen a tourette turn. The rest of the staff clearly do their best for the rest. Recommendations; expand lobby for a nice welcome (see Fletcher hotel Doorwerth), address chef.

A really dramatic service. Booked a room here last summer, a group booking due to a wedding. All rooms are suddenly canceled two months in advance. Without offering any help (only after two complaint emails the offer that we might be able to book another fletcher hotel) or apologies.
Never fletcher for me again

Nice hotel, attractive and friendly staff. Beautiful surroundings! Swimming pool is wonderful. The sun beds are due for replacement. The room is pretty spacious. The balcony a plus! The room is damaged here and there, just like the window frames and doors in the hotel. All in all definitely worth repeating, however, it may be refurbished.

ONCE BUT NEVER AGAIN.

ONCE BUT NEVER AGAIN.
The appearance suggests more. Unfortunately, the beauty and luxury appears to be only on the outside.
Room dirty and in need of refurbishment. Baseboards from the wall. Broken lamps. Spider web for the windows on the inside. Dust threads on the ceiling. Nasty behind toilet. Nuts in the rail of the wardrobe. Holes in the wall. One large dust nest on the edge above the head of the bed.
Have to ask twice to have it cleaned. And then it's the smallest hotel room in the complex.
Breakfast buffet was good and wide selection.
Dinner against that was not really special. Dry meat and no taste. We had to wait more than 35 minutes between starter and main course, because there was a wedding and it went before! Attention staff also not really positive. Wrong drinks and 2 times menu must pass.
Due to the weddings that are being celebrated, not all areas can be reached. The bar was therefore not available for hotel guests. In the bald room, have a drink ... when they saw you.
You can make it a nice outing yourself, but this hotel gives a huge damper on a weekend trip.

Top location, with great service in the restaurant by our table lady who served us in the person of one Desiree, a professional in the area of recommending which food is very tasty and through knowledge of wines and her beautiful smile and care and attention. Also good help at the reception by a professional in the field of welcome and welcome, Timo and by him you feel immediately welcome and get away from it all by his tips about the area.
Because of these 2 people you feel completely in between in a different environment.

Upon entering our room 318, there was still a full ashtray on the balcony. Nor was the table clean. I just cleaned it myself and cleared dust nests. Obviously not cleaned for a long time. Reported directly to the reception and informed them to find someone and otherwise possibly resolve the complaint during the evening, but she could not give any guarantee. She was on her own, she said.

Spend the night at this hotel. Enjoyed dinner. The starter and dessert were fine. Only the main dish was not cooked properly. Some parts of the chicken were raw. My friend ate this and got sick of it. There were more people whose main course was not cooked properly. The rooms and pool were fine. Beautiful location!

Friendly staff but the kitchen is sooo clumsy and not very professional.
In the summer there are meals on the menu that are usually for the fall or winter. The red wine is cheap and sour!
The breakfast was bad and we left it.

Nice hotel with reasonable rooms in a nice place in the middle of nature. Room was very dated. Nice swimming pool and small sauna.
Delicious and extensive breakfast with all the trimmings and many types of fresh fruit. Dinner is ok but just enough. Meat quality is good.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
Not a top hotel but very good quality for the price.

The entrance was busy and somewhat chaotic. Also by current guests who attended a book presentation in a room next to the reception. Despite masks everywhere, it just didn't feel good. The room was very dated the electricity cable to the lamp came loose from the ceiling and the lampshade was broken. The bathroom was dirty with very large mold marks on the ceiling and grout. In desperate need of an update. The beds went well. The food was very delicious! Wild menu was recommended for us. The breakfast buffet at these times is also not entirely convenient. The only measure here is to disinfect a mouth mask and hands. It would be more convenient if employees show bragging rights for you. So that not everyone has the same specifications. Furthermore, the building looks nice and is beautifully situated.

The food was very tasty but due to the slow service our food was already finished before we got the fries ... the bed was less and after a night of not sleeping well we were able to sleep the night after due to being too tired but we got put out of bed at 1 am by the alarm .. afterwards this turned out to be a false alarm ... the toilet seat and wall next to toilet I found in this fletcher hotel not clean ... this was to me the least best hotel of fletcher

The staff is adorable. It has a good location: near to a beautiful forest, some minutes from Dieren station and too silent. The outside look seems very modern, but the rooms need to be visited more often for the maintenance staff, it might be seen as antiquated for many. For the ok price, it was worth it.
