Had lunch at coffee shop. Excellent food, good service.
Wonderful experience. I with wife visited, to attend Bridal Asia convention. Enjoyed cafeteria, and cacke shopee. Will like to visit again.
A Wonderful Place where now I became a regular visitor to attend various events and exhibitions.
Ample Space to hold such events.
And I think one must visit all the exhibitions being run here cause all are excellent
A very old property , which was losing its charm BUT the recent spurt in exhibitions happening at Ashoka has got back its lost glory. Bridal Asia which is a prime exhibition happened at Ashoka this time. Not a single day passes when there is no exhibition happening at Ashoka .
The spa was a good experience at Ashoka. The restaurants have changed names very frequently in the past couple of years.
I have not had the pleasure of enjoying a stay at Ashoka but overall it exudes an heritage charm.
Really old hotel of Delhi but still retains the aristocratic charm. Had gone here for a conference but food was very good
Good hotel. Doesn't like some of the food items provided during the conference that took place over there. Most of the items served were not reheated.
The hotel looks lavish, i went there to attend a function in their banquet but there was pathetic service over there and were not able to accomodate people for dinner. They had less food to serve, nothing was systematic.
Had a pleasant experience at the Frontier restaurant, after many years. A surprise was the musician playing out film song in Hindi,Urdu dating back to 50 year back, on his mandolin.
Very old Govt owned 5 star Hotel .... Bathrooms are in Very Bad State Smelling .... Typically of Govt owned as usual......
Nice..staff front door are excellent, rooms are spacious
Good location but old dilapidated building. Needs renovation big time.
One of the best Hotel and great service I personally visited there .But the food is not up to the mark thumb up for great view from terrce garden.
Interesting dog show but rude parking and security attendant
Lovet It. Great time spent here. I was spend my two hour near swimming pool, seat there and write some chepters of my novella. Beautiful well cleaned room also. Great time here.
Old property was a hit in 90's, but location is good. Garden restaurant is good even the disco is okay
The grand old hotel of Delhi. Used to be great. Poorly managed with unfriendly aging staff.
Despite being government hotel it is well maintained and is cleaned. There is a little bit of parking problem there and there is no valet parking.
good ambiance, loved the food of their Punjabi Dhaba, very delicious and yummy. loved the interior of the Dhaba and the cutlery which will take you to the 70s or 80s era. loved the songs being played at the background.
A huge luxury hotel with expensive and not so good restaurants.
Well experience here was pretty good stayed here for the night, In morning ordered breakfast was little disappointing that they don't serve fresh juice, All they said that we keep canned juice and there continental breakfast did had much of variety in it as compared to Ambassador Hotel. So yes I loved staying here but yeah was disappointed with the menu !!!
Not maintained well. Service is not comparatively up to the mark.
The staff and service is really good. It's very close to embassy and breakfast is commendable. I was a bit disappointed by the rooms though. They felt old , had a damp smell (and this is during my December visit), cleaned superficially but I did not feel comfortable. The tap in restroom was clogged. Needed to call room service to get it fixed. Overall , I felt it wasn't the right value for the money.
Very nice and pleasant place at a busy city like delhi.. loved the place
This is a great place for a visit or stay. Friendly staff, great food, awesome ambience
I visited the hotel for one of my friends birthday party arrangements made by them were quite amazing
Nice place to conduct board meetings, AGM and other business meetings
Good place to enjoy quality time with friends and family.
Rooms are big and well furnished.Best location and very competitive tarrif.food is just o.k.
Just one word. Awesome stay. Loved to be going back.
The Ashok hotel, located in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi is managed by ITDC.
The Sagar Ratna restaurant is awesome of you are looking for south Indian vegetarian option at the Capital city.
This Heritage hotel has got over 500 rooms. Rooms were elegant, but could have been better if the staffs were professional.
Service from the staff force me to rate only 3 stars.
They serve fruit platter for free.
Generally flexible in checkin- checkout timings.
Would visit this place again for having breakfast at Sagar Ratna and dinner at Oudh.
Near Lok Kalyan Marg metro station. Good nd luxury facilities.. staff is good.
Old hotel at a very good location but spoiling due to no maintenance and very poor quality of food ,fortunately still doing good due to good staff
Set upon 25 acres of prime land in the Capital s diplomatic area, the hotel's world class services and amenities pamper presidents, celebrities, and distinguished clientele with traditional Indian hospitality. Ever responsive to the needs of the time it offers convention tourism for national and international conferences, luxury rooms and suites, an array of international cuisine experiences, supplemented with a health club and destination health spa and a business center.
An electronic safe, a separate work desk, a mini refrigerator, hair dryer and a direct-dial phone are among various other facilities to make your stay comfortable.
I was here for a conference. The plus, being an old property this place has large rooms! But that's is where it all ends.
Much can be done on maintenance. The place just doesn't give you the impression of being very clean. The toiletries can be improved dramatically and are currently comparable to a railway station lodge.
No plug points anywhere close to the bed, which basically means that you run in the morning when the alarm sounds.
The staff is nice and helpful but not efficient. Things happen all in their own way who you wouldn't mind if you have the time.
The entire place seems stuck in time.
Just isn't worth the money at all.
