Hotel Arts Barcelona Review

This hotel is amazing!!! The staff is the best I've ever experienced. They were so helpful and always went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. They also left little things in the room for my son and wife which was pritty cool. I highly recommend this hotel and location to anyone who is thinking about visiting Barcelona.

Our room was not made up when we got in. So they gave us a better floor and a second glass of free cava at reception. The staff were superb.

A beautiful site, with easy access either by car or public transport, with a lot of privacy once inside, the service and products more expensive than normal but the site deserves it.

Very good service and, at the moment, are renovating the facilities for the good maintenance of the hotel with an elegant but not too ostentatious decoration to accommodate all kinds of events. The spa is a wonder, with excellent views and highly specialized specialist physiotherapists. The whole hotel is a cosmopolitan and glamorous place!

We were invited to breakfast and the variety as well as the quality was spectacular. Very attentive, 5 star staff. Luxury facilities.

All in all, our experience at Hotel Arts was predominantly negative.

Having experienced diverse 5 star hotels across the globe I must say that Hotel Arts was one of most disappointing and unprofessional experiences I ve made so far. I can not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking for excellent service and a 5 star luxurious get away.

The website is deceiving in many aspects: many of the rooms have a direct view on an office building and main road. There are no flowers in the room. The service was very rude and impolite with two employees making an absolute exception. Next to the high room rates itself, there are extra charges everywhere (wifi, using the spa area, room service delivery fees, breakfast served in the room instead of downstairs etc.) Next to being disrespectfully treated by many of the employees, for example: being asked for ID, room number and name out of security concerns instead of being greeted, we also acknowledged an extremely unprofessional performance for example: staff being unaware of booked extras and so on.

For this price, I would have rather stayed in a charming boutique hotel in the city center. Although the higher priced rooms and spa area may have a nice view, the overall hotel experience does not meet up to 5 star luxury expectations.

But other then that the hotel is amazing

As you go up you are treated better. In the door of the street they are quite edges and little collaborative (perhaps if you arrive in a Ferrari they treat you well) in the reception already if, very kind, the great room and the great breakfast.
P.S. It's hard to find people who speak Spanish

It, s classy hotel, cosmopolitan, high tech but with human touch

Club Level is top notch with all day Cava and a nice selection of rum and other spirits. Club staff are very friendly and they made us feel like part of the Family! (special thanks to Joao, Melissa, Jaime, Stephane)

Good hotel with very good service. The staff is very friendly and the staff members always come in pairs to make sure you have everything that you need.

Highly qualified staff is the minimum for a Hotel of these characteristics at this social level, particularly the assistance of the staff is useless if they speak to you in English, French, Chinese or Arabic if they do not have respect, a very cold and distant environment, not even a smile when you ask them, if you were denouncing them, there is an awkwardness when speaking with an assistant, for the cost of overnight stays I find it very uncomfortable that they are so serious and the distant and cold conversations coming to disrespect without a doubt I stayed in two-star hotels where the treatment is very close and friendly, which is why the chains of these hotels should undoubtedly give friendliness classes to their workers, otherwise it goes without saying that luxury x wherever you want, facilities clean and spotless.

The best hotel experience ever! It was a gift for my husband and the team from reservation department made the best what they could do. Late Check out, room upgrade with immpresive views! I would like to thank Susane Oliveri and Derrick Wang! The best! Highly recommended!

It is comfortable although its rooms are not very spacious and have little storage space if you come many days. The place is simple but very well located. Excellent breakfast and very warm place. Nexpresso machine coffee, variety of meals, good dishes. Warm attention in all.

Booked this for my honeymoon in Spain. After having stayed at ritz properties around the world I was very disappointed with this hotel. The staff is really nice and hospitable, from the bellboy to the receptionist.

They gave me a room on the 2nd floor and they said it was a big corner room. I asked them to give me a good room because I wanted to ensure my wife has a good experience. It seemed that this room was unattended. There was no TV remote, there was low pressure of water and it took 30 mins for the hot water to come in the washroom. The view is horrible, with people walking to the swimming pool being able to see inside your room, and no privacy. You are surrounded by hotel buildings and no glimpse of the beach or the city.

The 'large room' as it turns out, didn't have air conditioning in one part of the room. So basically half the room was ambient and the other half was freezing since there was no vent.

All in all, very disappointed with this hotel. If they offer you room 201, RUN! God knows what the other rooms are like.

P.S: my wife was happy because she loves to gym and they have an excellent gym.

You are looking for a place to go for breakfast with time and looking at the Mediterranean ... you have it, on the terrace of the Hotel Ars. Price per person approx. 20 euros

The service wasn't great and the room keeys kept not working but other than that everything else from the location to the room cleaning and restocking of fridge was cool as well as the high pressure showers. If they take this comment to improve these lackluster areas if service I think it will be a top of the line hotel.

Very well placed by the sea, this luxury hotel is perfect, the staff is always listening and in several languages including French. The rooms are very quiet. The breakfast is fabulous.

Beautiful hotel, right next to the beach. Lovely experience at check in, even though we were a few hours early we were found a room very quickly and had some cava for the short wait. The room had a beautiful view of the marina/beach and was spotless. Brilliant night's sleep - pleasantly surprised with how quiet the room was, especially given that the area seems quite lively with late night bars at the beach. Would definitely return.

A charming hotel, on the 41st floor there is a conference room with unbeatable views. Very efficient and friendly treatment. The spa is located on the 43rd floor
