Solid hostel for students. But it's not comfortable. Staff is ok. But comfort is not the thing that this hostel has. So if your budget ia small you can be here 2-3 days, but if you have a little more money. Go to the better one
The entrance to the hostel is through a sports shoe store (right side of the building). Then on the elevator to the 4th floor and further to the 5th floor. The hostel is clean, quiet, there is a kitchen, a hall, two toilets and two showers. Despite the city center, this is the quietest hostel of all that I was. Located near the bus stop 72, which goes to / from the airport. Nearby there are several non-stop kiosks where you can buy a splash or something else.
Very cosy, unique place and the location is perfect. But the best part of this is friendly staff :) Welcome drink, Rakia, was great. I am sure I will come again.

Very well located hostel - close to the main pedestrian and railway station, at the final bus stop from the airport, at the famous bazaar with fruit and vegetables. Kindest, multilingual service and welcome rakiji sheet. The hostel has a kitchen, living room, computer, wi-fi. The downside was the lack of air conditioning which can be a problem on hot days.
Stayed one night, but the staff was great, really helpful, and great company. The place was located in a very great place. Will go back when I return to Belgrade.
DO NOT STAY HERE. CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES!!! There is many wonderful hostels in Belgrade THIS IS NOT one of them.Read the owners response and his lies and all will be clear to you. Really I should never come again and you get to steal my money for no service provided???? Wow how convenient. No you WILL see me again with the police!!! Nothing is on you not the redbull, not the laundry i did not spend not even one night there and you charged me 60 euros cheers to you because you can buy a case of detergent and redbull for that money. You are a crook, but thank god my bank will be reversing the charges. You should learn a thing or two from Americans. To the owner: you should ask yourself what kind of person you are not upholding ur end of the bargain, threatening someone in a foreign country and charging cards without authorization is a criminal act. I almost called the police on them, but the owner begged me not to. Then he turns around and charges the card for no service provided. Id recommend a wonderful hostel called Montmatre in Belgrade. This one Goodnight Grooves of Horrors you should skip AT ALL COST.Judging by the owners response below which is lies, tells you how you can expect to be treated. He even reprimends someone for being a bad person for giving an honest review, definitely zero business sense. I did not feel safe there. Don't worry you will never see me again because Id NEVER stay there again, but my money you will have to give back I said id pay you but an amount that is acceptable not the full reservation because you did not uphold what you promised, when you did not have my reservation available for me and actually already rented the room to someone else and I broke my back on the couch, so you want to double dip,and I talked to my bank and complained to hostelworld charges will be reversed. On the phone and i no longer felt safe. Shame on you and Shame on them!!!! I had a terrible experience at Goodnight Grooves in Belgrade. I had made a reservation when I got there my room was not available and the elevator was not working. When I said that the conditions we agreed upon where NOT met and I am moving on, the owner threatened me and insisted on me to pay the full reservation and charged my card without authorization. I moved to another hotel and will be disputing the charges. Please advise this is a dangerous place to stay. As far as your other reviewa most of them are fake because you have shown what kind of person you are. Shame on you no business sense, my money you will have to give back for no services provided you CRIMINAL!!!!
Great hostel in Belgrade, quite close to anywhere, to the river about 10 mins walk, it's on a main street and there is a small bus station nearby. It's just a bit noisy area. And the most important the staff are perfect.
Advertise 24 hour reception, this is not true. Advertised both online and in front of door. I called all 3 numbers provided more than once. No answer. I rang bell for 20mins, no answer. I had to try find another hotel without any wifi, all alone at 7am in the morning.
Great hostel, especially because of the lovely staff. I really enjoyed my stay there.
This is not a secure hostel. We were told that the front door was never locked and nor was there access to a key for the room or a locker. The hostel is accessed through the shoe shop entrance so anyone can walk in at anytime!!! The reception desk wasn't manned so when we went to checkout at 10:30am we just had to leave a note.
The rooms were tidy but not clean, under the bed there was loads of hair and dust. Not ideal if you want to put your bag there..!
Shower was good but didn't drain properly - not a massive problem!
Location was good, near the town and Mcdonald!

I've traveled 3 apartments in Belgrade and finally decided to stay here. In the middle of the center the hostel owners are friendly and have two tiny cats in a cute dim atmosphere. They let you use a computer. I can't just say I'm comfortable with a lot of mattresses and cushions.
Non-staffed staff, low privacy, messy rooms without elements, toilets untidy and do not often do not have hot water, heating is lukewarm, and the staff lies on the floor of the hostel and sleeps. Good location, poor investment for money, low choice of content, better to pay for a real hotel and enjoy in the Empress of Belgrade in a restful way.
Spent a night here, clean, friendly staff, all fine.

Great staff, comfy rooms, very near to all of the sights. I'd give them five stars but my single room was too hot, being furthest from the two a/c units.
Affordable, good location, friendly atmosphere and very accommodative. Cons: party hostel (I mean if you're not into that), low security and not enough bathrooms.

Poorly run hostel! In less than 4 hours, we got quite a good overview of it...
We checked in, but got put out of the beds because they were already booked. Then we couldn't pay because the staff didn't know how to use the credit card machine. After all that, we decided to go in town only to come back to... A closed building door! Turns out the owner was supposed to take the night shift but was out of town.
We had to wait 1hour in the middle of the night until we forced the door in. Calls, and rings were loud enough to wake people up in the hostel, but with no staff around, it can't be helped. In total, 5 people got stuck outside for hours, including 1 that went to sleep at another hostel.
The best of all is the owner trying to sneak out of owning the poop by blaming neighbors for locking the building door, and leaving the morning shift staff deal with fallouts with rings and bells of possibly losing her job if she didn't handle it properly!
If not for the hostel itself, avoid it for its management (and the possibility of being locked out!)
