Infants do not even have priority! My daughter was 5 days old and it was a boy with a knee problem who went past her, when she had trouble feeding and had diarrhea.

The emergency department is LAMENTABLE.

When a pediatric emergency department is unable to treat childhood pain within an hour, I think it's the signal that it's time to do something else ... My 12 year old son was operated by Professor Chotel, for a reconstruction of the ACL in the Orthopedics department, all the staff are top and attentive, the surgeon, the nurses, the physiotherapists, the anesthetists ... In the post-operative room all the personnel of the block participated in a small video which explains to the children everything that will happen before the operation, it's great. Arrival to the emergency room for my son with a strong suspicion of appendicitis. Quick care, the pediatrician present that day was very friendly and attentive. The staff present in the operating room was pleasant with a real pedagogy to reassure the child.

The only downside is for parents who want to stay with their child at night sitting on chairs not comfortable at all but I do with.

Home horrible childbirth! The two nurses at the reception took me down and let me wait in the waiting room while I had contractions every 2 min, lost the waters and that it was my second child ! One allowed herself to say "we can not osculate you in the hallway, so walk walk" LOL a wise woman heard and immediately wavered (ah like yen had one finally!) The work went super fast and I was 4 fingers! Fortunately I did not give birth in the hallways! Frankly transfer these women there it looks like they are not happy to be there and they reflect everything on the poor women who just ask to give birth! Another negative point: since there was no room available after my delivery I was left in the delivery room with plenty of blood (no bed available) and impossible to wash for almost 24 hours ... c ' is hard when you just give birth we want to wash and rest! But otherwise very professional staff during childbirth midwives at the top!

Why in waiting rooms or children wait HOURS there are no more comfortable seats? No television or cartoons, no pencils, coloring available ..... The hospital in Valencia has all this, with the ladies of an association in pink blouse playing with children! ! Very disappointed with these hours of waiting on an iron chair! No music anything ...

What is this pediatric ?? working with children is not only knowing how the baby teeth work, it's mostly knowing how a child works (neuroscience says a lot), knowing how to respect a child as an adult, they have the same right, the consent is for everyone, not just for adults. Not to mention shortcuts and on-the-fly diagnostics, run on a single piece of information. So, austere place, absolutely not pediatric, not suitable for children, and auscultation ditto, not suitable for non-consenting children. Unfortunately the premises are inadequate, so I imagine that working in these conditions must be difficult for all staff. Too bad, the hospital is only 10 years old, it makes 50 more.
