I wanted to take a moment and share how grateful I am for the team from Hospice of the West. My father John was placed in Hospice about a month ago after a lengthy illness. Jacey, (NP) guided us through the process as well as the intake nurse Heather We were provided the team of Nurse Ashley, SW Lisa and CNAs Art and Leo. My mom was also able to talk to counselor Debra. Josiah was amazing as well as he met with my parents and provided them spiritual guidance and support (as well as talked football with my dad! ).
This team was amazing!! Lisa provided us guidance on working through our emotions and guided us through items like medical power of attorney. Leo and Art, my dad's CNAs were so gentle and kind with his bathing and other care needs. They made us smile as we took this journey with my dad. They also made sure we were not without needed care supplies. Lastly, Ashley my dad's nurse was our SAVIOUR!! We were worried at the end of my father's life that he pass with dignity and comfort. We would call the number and Ashley would call us back immediately. Ashley, guided us through his medical needs and because of her expertise and kindness he passed Peacefully. She came out to our home almost daily at the end. All of these individuals leant an ear and support when needed. My mom and I would not have been able to navigate my father's passing without them. Thank you Hospice of the West team, YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE IN MY DAD's final month/days and moment. YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE FOR MY MOM AND I to ensure he passed with comfort and peace and that you did not overlook our needs as well. During my mother's remaining months of life, Hospice of the West was amazing! The entire team was not only there caring for my mother, but supporting me during this emotional time. I especially want to express my gratitude to the entire hospice team who guided and helped me through the entire process. They gave my mother such dignity and attention during the dying stages. Mom's pain was managed thoroughly, and they involved me in all decision-making. Mom died very peacefully without pain or suffering. May God bless you!

Don't waste your time with this hospice, unless your loved one has spent time in the hospital like 5 or 6 times in the past year. Or ER visits of 10 to 12. It was degrading. Thinking your looking for help, for your love one. The nurse that came, well she was nice at first then boom, please due some investigating of the hospice before you open your home. There are a bunch of hospice in the Phoenix area.

Amazing place to work! HOW showed amazing compassionate care to their patients. One of the best places I've worked as a cna.

My father passed away recently after suffering for an extended time with dementia and Parkinson's disease. Hospice of the West was there all along towards the end. There were a number of caregivers involved and each and every one of them was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and considerate of both his needs and those of our family. You could tell that this was more than just a job to these individuals and I'll always be grateful for their excellence service and support.

I work in the senior care industry and have been referring back and forth with Hospice of the West for a couple of years now. I want to personally thank their staff for their hearts and hard work caring for their patients and the community. I appreciate you all!

Both Hospice of the West and Homewatch Caregivers were amazing groups of people who helped me through the last few days of my father s life. Everyone I met and who was part of my father s support team explained everything that was going on and answered any and all questions with compassion and concern. Again, everyone that I met and spoke to at both Hospice of the West and Homewatch Caregivers were amazing, but the truly considerate gesture that impressed me was the financial contribution that was made to my father s favorite cause in his name. Thank you, Dan Fern, for this truly compassionate gesture.

I feel compelled to post a review for Sylvia Butler with Hospice of the West. She is such a special lady and a wealth of knowledge. She does such a wonderful job representing your organization and I have to tell you that any event I host is just not the same without her. She is so well respected and rightfully so with her many years in the business.
More importantly, Sylvia has a passion for helping seniors and it shows in her actions with how she cares for her clients and supports others in the industry. Thank you Sylvia Butler for all that you do and thank you Hospice of the West. I will most definitely refer business to your organization when given the opportunity.
