We work directly with Hospice of the NW. They have treated our residents with the upmost respect, dignity, and the care all along the way is nothing short of perfection. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I have dealt with Hospice of the Northwest on a personal level with Nick, and on a professional level as the administrator at a retirement community. I can't overstate how incredible this organization is. Their staff and volunteers are amazing people who bring compassion and quality to end of life care.

We are so grateful to have an amazing Hospice team here in Skagit County. Hospice of the Northwest provides excellent care to our clients and their families. Keep up the good work!

I used Hospice of the Northwest in December and they were wonderful...never knew what they really did but I could not have made the decision I had to make without their help...

Both of my parents were patients of Hospice of the Northwest. To this day I can't sing their praises enough. The Nurses, Doctors, Clergy, Social Workers were fantastic. I will still run into one of them occasionally and they still know me. You couldn't ask for better care. I highly recommend them.

Besides for the unforeseen and painful circumstance our family was put in very quickly with my grandmother , she was very graciously helped in every situation. They were kind and only a phone call away at all times if i ever had a question or needed help. When my grandmother passed they arrived to help with everything that came next. Prayers and kindness and the most compassionate people. I never expected something so difficult could be surrounded with such loving and supportive help. Cant thank them enough.

Right at Home works with Hospice of the Northwest regularly. Their nursing staff and social workers are professional and always have the best care for client and family in mind. They are compassionate, understanding and pro-active. Thank you Hospice of the Northwest for all you do for the community. Sharon

Hospice of the Northwest is a kind caring group of people that has guided me and my family through the end of life for my mom, mother in law, father in law and nephew. They made each experience meaningful.

Not what I wanted for my dad. I believe there are some good people at Hospice of the Northwest, but when it came down to it, following the on call nurse's advice lead to a considerable amount of suffering for my dad and my mom and I having to watch him. The best decision we made was ignoring their advice. Their good intentions are not enough. You really have to advocate hard for your loved one and be prepared to use your own judgement, not the advice of a medical professional with a telephone. The only followup we had was with their social worker and there has been no additional contact from Hospice. Make sure you ask all the worst case scenario questions. We were doing home hospice so that may affect your interpretation of this review. Best of luck. It is not easy.
UPDATE 4/1/19 I just got off the phone with Toccara, the Nursing Manager, and she gave me as much time as I wanted to talk about my experience with hew nurses. She was not defensive in the slightest. She wanted to make sure she understood the issues I experienced before she took my issues to her staff. I felt like she was very sincere in that she wants to prevent any more regrettable experiences with the services they offer. I hope they succeed.

The support, expertise and many attentions Hospice of the Northwest showed my family were wonderful. They were attentive, gracious and kind, even with an on-call nurse for middle of the night counsel. Their care and support make this process easier. I am filled with gratitude.
