I cannot thank Hospice Hawaii enough for their support, guidance and compassion. Every stage of my Mother's decline was extremely appreciated by myself and my family. Mom was always kept comfortable and every one of her visits from either, the Chaplin, Wes, who always lifted Moms spirits and made sure she happy and peaceful....could not leave her room without laughter. Yvonne, Tiffany and Susie were the Hospice Nurses who were there to care for her pain and suffering levels, and notify those who needed to be notified about her passing. Again, the nurses were very efficient, caring and very much appreciated. When Mom needed something to make it easier for her, Hospice was able to provide a hospital bed and other equipment she needed. When Allison, the Social Worker visited me, she answered all my questions and was very compassionate. I will always treasure my hand-casting piece from Jessica. We did three generations of our hands intertwined...Mom's, my daughters hand and mine. Very, very special. I cannot tell you how much happiness it gives me to see our hands on display at home. I believe we waited too long before Mom made her choice to go with hospice. Hospice Hawaii was absolutely the best possible road for my Mother....she was happy right up to the end, and made the transition with dignity from all the help we received from Hospice Hawaii. Thank you to the whole staff! It takes very special people to do what you do.

Breanna, Linda and Jaime are reliable and so kind. My mother has medical issues and dementia. The team at Navian are everything I needed to help my aging parents while I live so far away. They give us the compassion and guidance needed during this difficult time. I am so grateful that I chose them!

Our daughter Haley was just 9 years old when we started with Hospice Hawaii. She was terminally ill with brain and spinal cord cancer. She were in hospice care for almost 2 years before she passed. I'm not sure how we would have made it through without them. Hospice Hawaii has some of the most wonderful staff working with families of children that are sick.

My advice is to use them early in the process if you can. Don't wait.

Our family's experience with Hospice Hawaii, although brief (only 6 days), was a very positive one. I only wish we had thought to call them sooner so we could have taken advantage of all their services. Everyone at Hospice Hawaii, from the telephone answering service who took my initial call on a Sunday morning, to Susie and Yumi (RN's), to Jaime (social worker) showed us patience, compassion, and empathy during our father's final days. They expedited the delivery of supplies, hospital bed, Broda Chair, commode which we didn't even know we would need. Most of all, they helped us to comprehend what was going on with our father, how to best help him, and what to expect. The Hospice Hawaii team kept us informed, taught us how to care for our father at home, and basically reduced our fears of how we were going to manage on our own. Thank you, Hospice Hawaii, for being there when our family needed you most!

For more than six months, Hospice Hawaii helped us tend to our mother with loving hands and caring hearts. They lifted her spirits and ours. They offered bathing assistance, nursing care, even healing massage, all in the comfort of our home. They let us know what to expect, so my brothers and sister could come back to Honolulu to enjoy time and reminisce with her. We were all together as she gently left this world, to the sounds of guitar, ukulele and her grandchildren singing to her.
