Horizon's woven shades were installed in our home as part of a bath remodeling by Sulin Interiors. Contacted the company by telephone to request warranty repair and was told by their representative that the Limited Lifetime Warranty which "warrants that its products properly installed in a residential dwelling will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product ", doesn't actually exist. Turns out, all warranties are capped at 3 years. No recourse but filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau for misrepresentation. This is an unethical company with a HORRIBLE customer service policy and approach.
UPDATE - Contacted by Customer Service Mgr. who has been helpful to date in resolving this issue. Will revise this comment in accordance with Horizon's actions going forward.
Final Update - Complaint resolved. This appears to have been entirely attributable to a single representative who did not have the company's best interests at heart the day we reached out for their help.

I ordered woven wood window coverings for the entire first floor of my house, and it s been a horrible experience. Items were missing from the order, shades that were supposed to have liners didn t, some of the shades are not cut straight, one is several inches too short. It s been a two-month long nightmare. I ordered window coverings from a different company for the second story, and everything has been perfect. If I had it to do over again, I would spend the extra money and go with Hunter Douglas. The quality is just so much better.

Based off of my recent experience with Horizon. I would give them a thumbs down. I worked in production one day. Management kept returning my samples saying they couldn't send them to their clients this way. If they want more accurate samples, they should provide the proper equipment to get the job done more effectively. Instead of a hot glue gun that i kept burning myself with. My lastest experience wasn't much better. I tried interviewing for a customer service position. The panel of three interviewers fabricated their reasoning for not hiring me. Stating that i didn't seem like a team player because all i spoke about was my leadership capabilities. None of the interviewers asked me any team related questions. They told me to describe my past work history. They wanted to be certain I would be abled to handle the job duties. So they sent me to shadow with a live customer service rep. I was told to listen so i could get a feel of the amount and type of calls i would be getting. I did that, later i was told through a third party that i wasn't engaged while i was shadowing. How engaged can i be when the rep is taking live calls? Was i suppose to interrupt her with questions while she's trying to assist clients? Be specific with your expectations and interview questions in the future. Be honest with your feedback it's very unprofessional.

I purchased Horizon Natural Woven Roman Shades July 25, 2017 for my entire home at The Fabric Source in Miramar Beach, FL. Over the last 3 years, 3 shades have broken, and 1 shade has broken twice. I have purchased the same woven shades for my last 3 homes and NEVER had any issues. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of of your product and will not purchase from you again.
I also have to pay to have them repaired.
I am very disappointed in your product and I hope this review will deter others from purchasing this inferior product.
P.S. I called and sat on hold for over 20 minutes, so I emailed for assistance, but got no response.
