Was always a nice cheap and cheerful couple of hours out but the new improvements during lockdown have transformed it. Its now a great family day out at a very reasonable, bordering on too cheap, day out. Animals seem very well looked after, and the new play areas are fantastic. Clearly alot of money, and effort has gone into it and the results are a credit to everyone involved. Best local place around to go to.
Also appears they are still building additional play areas and animal enclosures so will continue to get even better

1st time at the Nature Centre was today. Enjoyed a warm welcome from everybody at the centre. I was with my wife 2 Grandchildren and daughter. The oldest Grandchild ran around all morning looking at the Animals and playing in the Great play areas. The Snack Bar were well stocked and the 2 ladies helping in front entrance area Bar were Brilliant. Thank You for a Great Morning. We will be back.

Was a little busy and very hard to keep social distancing. All the sanitisers were empty also so take your own. However great morning/afternoon out for little ones, with lots to do to keep their interest.

I am rating 5 stars for the service I received from Karen (serving in the food van).

Visited the park to console myself on becoming a pensioner today. My dogs were very thirsty ater a 2 hour walk. I stopped by the cafe area for a cup of tea and water for my dogs. The usual dog water bowls weren't available. Karen, was so very kind. She ensured my dogs had a drink putting water into a plastic container for them. This act of kindness really did make my day.

I observed her with other customers - she is a breath of fresh air, very welcoming to all, giving service with a smile. The world could certainly do with more people like Karen in it.

Thank you Karen.

Amazing animal centre. Very friendly And helpful staff. Alot of work had been done recently adding new play areas and enclosures definitely worth a visit and all money raised supports the trust that run centre.

Really enjoyed our visit this morning! Ended up spending some good time on the brand new tractor play area near the Snackbox coffee and food stand (Karen, Stella and Tom give a brilliant service! Highly recommended!). Once we finally got through into the park (my 2.5 year old son was having so much fun, he had to be convinced to try something else), we had a great time visiting many of the animals, taking a train ride through the grounds and having a go on lots of the slides and adventure play equipment. A really fantastic morning, plenty of room for everyone and didn't feel crowded. My son loved it. Would have stayed all day but had to get home for a nap. Will be back!

Beautiful place and their are plenty of animals to see. My LG loved feeding the animals too. Rabbits, Goats, Pigs, Alpacas, Cows, Horses, Ducks, Geese, chickens, Emus, Wallabies. They even have honey bees. Play areas are are a good size and there is more than one which is good for busy days. We went on the tractor/trailer which took us around the site. Staff are lovely and helpful. All in all a brilliant day out. Would definetly recommend.
