About Hopala

Hopala is an Insurtech company that uses a digital comparison platform to compare the offers of more than 15 insurers. In England, people can easily take out insurance online. But research showed that only 5% of insurance policies in Belgium are taken out online, while 40% in their neighboring countries. However, the insurance product lends itself perfectly to online purchase and management. Determined to keep up with the difference with neighboring countries, Benjamin and Stijn founded Hopala. Hopala was founded in 2018 and is based in Antwerpen, Belgium.
