We were married here 5/23/21, so I'm reviewing their wedding services, but in addition, if you just want some pizza and beer, you should DEFINITELY still come here. I live in NYC now & there is no rooftop bar in all of Manhattan that can compare to the relaxed, friendly, wonderful vibe of THC, especially the outdoor section. We always come visit when we are in town!

In regards to the wedding itself - from start to finish, Anna was absolutely incredible. She ran through all of our different options for days and packages, and gave us all the information in a straight forward way we loved - we never once felt like we were being upsold, but rather that she genuinely wanted to help us plan our perfect day. THC was incredibly safe, communicative, and responsive over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, and we would absolutely not have been able to plan our wedding anywhere else. Anything we needed, Anna and her team were right there to help, answering our million questions and going absolutely above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect day. We heard so much great feedback from our guests too! Plus, the grounds are so beautiful that you can use minimal decor and still have a breathtaking backdrop. I absolutely 100% recommend THC as a wedding venue to anyone who wants a beautiful outdoor wedding. Thank you Anna & team for helping us achieve the perfect day!

Attended a work event here and it was my first time being there. What a great place, beer garden in the back to sit and relax, the beer selection is amazing. Had the entire range of craft beers. Sours, to ipa, to dark beer. Great place to hang out and have some fun

We absolutely LOVED The Hops Company for our wedding venue; however, working with their staff during the planning process had some very tough moments. The venue is gorgeous and planning a wedding during the COVID-19 pandemic it was so important for us to have things outside and in fresh air. The updates the venue has made to the ceremony area, putting concrete under the tent, the updated barn, the privacy of the wedding space and the parking were things that make me want to recommend this venue to everyone I know. The atmosphere is fun with yard games, a fire pit, a selection of beers, wine and cocktails on draft it had everything we were looking for. The day of staff was AMAZING. Our bartender Morgan was phenomenal and we had so much fun with her. Working with Alexia as our day of coordinator was also wonderful, she facilitated our rehearsal, and executed setting everything the day of flawlessly. However, communication during the planning process at times was a nightmare. I had to reach out more than once to schedule an initial tour, and then once we decided to move forward with a date we had a hold on - I didn't hear back from them for over a week. Often times e-mails would go unanswered and require multiple follow-ups on our end, and we had an unfortunate experience of one of the staff not showing up to a scheduled meeting at the venue and after being told/waiting for over 30 minutes that she would "be right down" we were informed that she actually wasn't even on site. The lack of clear communication and professionalism added a lot of stress during the planning process which is unfortunate as the venue itself is so much fun!

The actual beer garden is so much fun! During our planning process they were able to accommodate allowing us to try a flight of cocktails so we could sample them all!

THC has a beautiful location with so much outdoor space and a great selection of beer and drinks. They also have the Zuppardis pizza on site which is some of the best. Love sitting outdoors and their big lawn in the summer but they also have a great space indoors in the winter!

Have driven by 100 times but last night was the first time inside. Very happy with service and amazed how large it is. However everyone in my party had a NIGHTMARE trying to park. The lot in front and overflow lot behind were packed with people even on the lawn. People had to park in spaces behind the Big Y plaza and walk all the way to HOPS on a very busy street with no sidewalks which seems dangerous. They have to find some parking solution before someone is seriously hurt. Their parking lot has to be at least doubled in size. Took 20 minutes just to park.

Beautiful grounds to hold your special event. Catered by Spice both staff were so helpful.

I have been here quite a few times and I always enjoy myself. They have a great tap selection with lots of seating inside and a great outdoor area for when it is nice out. The pizza is good New Haven style pizza, wings are tasty and don't forget about the crepes! Definitely a mixed crowd of college kids, working professionals and families. Parking is limited in front of the building, but there is plenty of parking up top. Definitely stop by to check it out if you are in the area.

Great place and the bartenders was very cool which 5 star but had to give 3 star cause the foods.

First time here. Had the wings. They were delicious. Double fried for that crunch. Atmosphere was pleasant and the surrounding area is very nice. Will have to come back
