1st time giving 5 stars to a car dealer. I went to service department for routine maintenance and Mr. Eugene Hall was exceptional! He was very courteous and very helpful. He was not pushy with additional services but was very clear on what my car needed and future maintenance recommendations. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this place.

Bill Bowers did a fantastic job of helping my elderly parents purchase a new car. He gave them top dollar for their trade in and a very competitive price on their new passport. He spent over an hour with them in their new vehicle explaining all of the functions, setting up their cell phones, taking a test drive, etc. This was the best customer service I have ever seen and I have bought a lot of cars. We highly recommend him and Honda of Gainesville!

I had a great experience at Honda thanks to Ron Stokes in the service department! He was so helpful and efficient! I no longer dread having to go get my car serviced with him being there. Thank you Ron!

This has been the absolute worst car buying experi...

This has been the absolute worst car buying experience I have ever had! The sales guy took 3 weeks to schedule the we owe you services which was window tinting and changing out the interior trim. He kept saying he would call me back because he didn t pay attention to me saying I wanted to drop it off and get everything done at the same time so then would say give me a few and I will call you back. Days would pass before I would hear from him and most of the time I had to reach out to him to get anything. Then he sets it up for me to bring in my car and get a loaner but apparently didn t let anyone know and he wasn t there. No one knew where I needed to go to check in. They finally figured that out and got me a loaner. 3 days later I pick my car up and I had scratches on my brand new car, tint had scratches and bubbles, and the trim was just these stickers that were not placed properly so you could see the other trim. I have called and talked to numerous people for the last 2 months to get these items fixed and have left messages and no one was doing anything. I then call and request to talk to the general manager who wasn t in so I left a message. Within 5 minutes someone called me back to set up an appointment to get stuff fixed. Pretty sad that is what it took just to get it scheduled. I have been trying to be patient but this is just ridiculous. I still want to speak to the general manager so he knows what type of employee s he has working for him.

Excellent service provided by Sandra Castro Buritica as the sale agent and the coordination with the finance department Jennifer was superb. We were able to get the car we wanted and close the deal within a few hours. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a honda vehicle.

UPDATE 2: After posting the below update, I was able to finally get through to the service center director. After explaining the situation, I asked for a full refund, which they agreed to. My experience was quite frustrating, but I'm relieved that they provided a refund. On this basis I am upgrading to two stars.

UPDATE 1: Received a call from someone who claimed he was the director of the service center. I was unable to take his call at the time. He assured me he would take my call when I was free, and that my call was a top priority. I attempted to reach him 8 times. I left voicemail messages and I left messages with staff. I was made to wait on hold for excessive periods, only to have the call disconnected. I never received a call back. Is this how Honda of Gainesville addresses top priorities?

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was told service was performed and was charged for it, but the service had not been performed. Their tech also broke a part while doing an accessory installation. This was my first experience with this dealership and it did not inspire confidence. I brought my vehicle to have an oil change, tire rotation, and trailer wiring installed. After I got home I discovered the oil change and tire rotation hadn't been done, I called and was told that the tech had not reset the oil life gauge.

After I expressed that this was incorrect, the technician was consulted. He confirmed that the services had not been performed. I also explained the broken part and was told I could bring the truck in again and wait again for the services to be performed. Given this service department's performance, I do not trust them to do complete and conscientious work on my vehicle. I requested a full refund, which was provided, thankfully. What a frustrating experience.

Highly recommend Honda Of Gainesville. Sandra took lovely care of me. She made me feel comfortable during the buying experience as well keeping me informed during the process. 10/10 car buying experience!
