Hometown America, LLC Review

Hometown america has purchased the property at plaza del rey in sunnyvale. They have adjusted the space rent to $2380.00 for any new buyer of a mobile home in this park. That is $28560 a year. TRUE GREED. All equity in homes has dropped at least $100,000.00 on every home. No business sense here. They expect you to pay 1 and 1/2 times your mortgage just for the space your home sits on. Thats a $1000.00 more than im currently paying. Ridiculous right? 40 homes cannot sell here, including the ones they own. Steer clear people. These owners are a "SPECIAL" kind of GREEDY and negligent to their communities. They truly show their hate for the homeowners in the community. Plus they sensor there facebook website of all negative posts. These owners are part of a problem, not a solution. Hope karma slaps justice right across their GREEDY face.

To reiterate from Hometown americas reply to my above paragraph post. My opinion is they are a cancer to this community. Do not buy from these leeches. Whether a home sells for 120000 or 250000, these scoundrels think people will pay 2380 a mo. Space rent. Not including the annual rent increase of $100.00, or 4 to 7%
No homes are selling here due to this GREED. They claim to provide a higher standard of living. Hometown america has no morales to provide anything. They provided nothing but problems amongst a flourishing community, by their GREED and FOOLISHNESS. We had a higher standard of living before they took ownership. Take heed people, they smile to your face as they stab you in your back and try to steal your wallet.
Hometown America is that type of California GREED that truly makes you throw up in your mouth just hearing their name.

Is this even a legitimate business? I keep getting calls to my personal cell phone asking to show a house based on a listing - and I live in another state. I have attempted to call and email and track down the "agent" using my same name, and no response.. The phone just rings, busy signal, and then hangs up. It's been reported to the FTC.

This property management is horrible. They moved a new home in next to mine and there is 4 feet between our homes. If I wanted to live so close to someone I would have bought a condo!!!!!! They will not listen to me nor respond to my concerns. But if you want to buy a home they will call you as soon as they get in. This company is all about money. And does not care about the home owners at all. DONT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!!

I pay for garbage pickup here at Hometown America in Florida. I replace my flooring and I was told this morning the garbage men will not be picking up my old carpeting. That it exceeded the amount they pick up well I'd never put anything big out there so for the past three to four years I've been paying for garbage pickup that won't even pick up my garbage. Calling my home office as most Hometown America's I am reading about is useless. This Corporation needs a total overhaul in management it seems. Between this and the lot rent that keeps going up more than once a year I can't wait to sell my place and get out of here.

Live in a Hometown community in New Jersey. The office here is awful. They degrade you when you have a complaint. Supposed to be a nicely kept community, well I am living next to trailer trash. Complained to office contacted code enforcement and nothing. I shouldn't have to be living next to 3 feet high weeds and leaves and branches all over the place. Mold on house,stray cat under house which neighbor low life feeds. Won't pick up a twig. Lazy!!!!. Should get fined. Drinks and smokes all day and I have to smell this when I'm out on my deck. Disgrace.

I d like to know why the HOA fees went up over $104.00 a month!!!

Sadly, what we were told when we were looking to purchase in Tanglewood and what we are actually experiencing are two different things! Attached are photos of homes being allowed to deteriorate in Tanglewood. Weve contacted Mgmt for over a year and no response or action. Its unfortunate as it takes down property values and makes it tough for people to sell their homes. We are really disappointed in Hometown America!

I live in Plaza Del Rey in California and I am begging HTA to reduce the Rental Fee to New Home Buyers. I ve been here over 20yrs and CANNOT SELL MY HOUSE because of that Rent Increase to new home buyers. Plz hear my story and the many others, to REDUCE THE INCREASE TO NEW BUYERS. Thank You!!

Hometown America has been very good to me. Everytime I reach out to management they handle all my concerns right away. I appreciate all your hard work! Highly recommend this company.

Have you been abiding by the new California and nationwide mobile home laws? if not, then be prepared for a request of 800 million from all tenants who have been evicted, or have lived in the park for ten years prior to the illegal ten year lease agreement we are bound by since 2014 whether we signed or not. MY Qualifications will be soon recognized as appropriate for this conclusion. Your corporation wil soon know every detail of your abuse on not only mine, but others nation wide in your attempt to illegally aquire the older homes disabled people have inherited by jacking the price up 65% in this agreement basing the price on a neighborhood tha tis in my case 120 miles from m y own home <that was stolena and not compensated for 798.56 a to be thrown in the trash to make way for a new mobioeo home 798.58 and the mobile home park makes profit by selling it 798.17, no thats something else you violated such as waiving our chapter 2.5 rights. Anyone who falls under these two categories are the beneficiaries of this action. since the 10 year lease agreement has become a forged document leading to the acquisition of property . i am in no way nor is this this any way a threat, but a request before proceedings begin. SInce i have graduated with an average 3.8 to 4.0 gpa in SCIENCE while your managment prevented me from completing my last four classs < injury using police by telling lies about my behavior> and intimidation preventing me from leaving my own home or hiding somewhere near but away from my home because i felt in danger of the manager he was chasing and attcking me not the other way around...his witnesses are convoluded and thieves guilty of prostitution burglary and violence and own guns >

i can prove that april 3 2015 incident was all creeksides fault the office called that day to the police saying i was a threat. chpd now have noted i was never a threat
i have been harmed by their attack on me and harmed by creeksides relentless harassment that i am out of a home homeless and my lively hood ruined. creekside used the police against me in a game.

This place is the worst 55+ comminuty Ive ever see. The on property management is HORRIBLE!! Maintance doesnt get done as they say, adding on charges to monthly billing with no expelliation. I can go on,and on. If your thinking about buy into these places THINK AGAIN!! ALL LIES!!
