Overall I am happy with my first home and would recommend them for anyone building their first home.

Lena Alonzo - Sales Consultant Extraordinaire. Our original Sales consultant left the company and left us clueless. Len came into the picture and helped us by giving us what we really need that we truly can afford. She was true and helpful, made sure all inclusions we truly need are in our contract, keeping costs down and realistic. Kudos to her Sales Manager as well.

Kystal Taylor - Resolve Finance Champion. She was tireless in the process of helping us from the start (from 1 sales consultant) to finish when we finally received approval from. She was always available when WE ARE available to meet. We appreciate this as we both work full-time. She was always accommodating and positive, always giving us the vibe that this is possible.

Jo Cunningham - Pre-start Wizard. She asked the right questions and presented us with options options options. We came out feeling very confident with our decisions during pre-start.

Our construction started in January and we are now in April and at LOCK UP stage. We are most likely getting the house in less than 6 months! At this stage, we are mostly dealing with Amy Hough as our Client Liaison and Damien, the site supervisor who we have yet to meet. Though we have not seen him, he is almost always available to speak to my husband who as a plumber has construction experience and is very meticulous. Though we have yet to reach the end of this whole building process, we have decided to give 5 stars. We are happy so far, a few minor hiccups with the contractors on site, but site supervisor attends to it.

We have spoken to about 5 builders before deciding on Homebuyers Centre. We spent a lot of time doing that and why not??? This is for our HOME! We have spoken to 1 builder targeting a specific market turns out so much more expensive while marketing that they are cost -friendly, 2 big builders with primetime TV ads - more expensive in exchange of very little. 2 builders with 1st home buyers as the main market - cheaper at first but the inclusions will raise the cost through the roof! Homebuyers was a surprise to us - came in a neat little package, cost friendly and inclusions you can't say no to! We very highly recommend Homebuyers Centre! We are truly glad we made this decision.

From the first meeting with the sales rep in a display home to the site manager and management team, I have been really pleased with the way Home buyers takes care of their customers. No question was too silly and all answers were prompt and clear. Thanks Chris, Hannah, Crystle and Kyle for a fantastic experience building my first home. It's beautiful! I will definitely be recommending you to anyone who wants to build in the future!

When I walked into the Azure display home in Byford I was blown away by Scott Lewis's professionalism,honesty, understanding and the terrace home. He worked hard to get me everything I was hoping for which I never thought I would get with all the searching I had already done. I had been given false hope in the past by other builders. Scott has restored my faith in this process and gave me the whole picture of what is involved in building a home. He even problem solved my financial situation and found a way to get the ball rolling a lot sooner than I thought! I cannot believe how quickly it is all happening. I have already received pre approval and Louise and Kimberly (Resolve) have been working hard behind the scene to get my financial documents into the Lender so quickly.

Scott, thank you so much for all you have done for me and dealing with my many emotions. You take a lot of pride in what you do! you have given me the best Christmas Present ever being able to say I will have my own home!

Thank you to Homebuyers Centre for an excellent experience through our first build! We are so glad we chose Homebuyers Centre as everything has been smooth sailing since we signed the contract.I can honestly say the trades used were fantastic (they all had wonderful google reviews as well - yes I checked), and the finish on the home is our dream come true. Our Practical Inspection report came back without any defects! Our inspector's final comment was "The home has been built to a good standard and quality" and complimented our site supervisor Jon in person after the build. This is our first home and our first build and this is a very big process, and was a big decision to make, but we are so grateful we went with such a reputable builder, who got the job done to such a great standard. We had a rusty pole, 10years after building with homebuyers centre. They fixed it quickly with no cost to us. Great after build care.Thanks Steve and the team.

They told me I would get my deposit back and didn't get it. Tom Walters is a dishonest person who let me down and lied through the whole process. DONT USE THEM

Homebuyers were a fantastic company to build with. Friendly, helpful people that do their utmost to ensure you have the best building experience that they can. I would recommend them to anyone that asks.

Hi Guys,
I have given 3 stars. Home buyers centre is overall a good company but there are some areas for improvement.
I am going to write my reviews on every stage of the building as one review can not justify the whole process.
So far i have completed sales phase and pre-start phase.
1) Sales phase: I am first home buyer and have no idea of building. A sales rep is expected to go through every single item, explain you every single bit of the contract and the material which is going to be used.
In my case, few things were not discussed like roofing options, impact of service points on drive way, common things like false ceiling options, alfresco beam etc. I can give you a big list. So ended up in disappointments in pre-start phase as I came to know most of the things can not be changed or too late too change.
Leson learnt: be careful, dont sign straight away.

2) Pre-start: This experience was not that bad. In fact everything was organised from the staff point of view.
Only thing would have helped is, they could have suggested to go to their tiles supplier to see all the tiling options before i go to pre start meeting to avoid delay.
The showroom has very limited tiles selection which i can not complain about, considering the fact that they have to fit so many items in the showroom.

This phase was good and crystal clear. I know what i am paying for even though the prices are a bit too high.
For ex premium door handle $500 plus each, deep drawers upgrade $600 plus. So prepare for it.

My house is still under construction, so i will keep posting information that will help all the first home buyers.

In short, you can not rely on the builder to coach you...!

Being a first home buyer, the entire process was scary and new.

Great building company that really makes sure their clients have the perfect experience with building their homes whether its a first or second home.

Homebuyers were a great support for us and very professional. Their sales professionals and the showroom were more than helpful through the journey. They are also extremely helpful with all the questions we had and helped us taking the right decision.

As a single first home buyer I started this process so nervous. But Home buyers centre have proved to be such a supportive and friendly group of people! The guy down at banksia gr display centre is very attentive, helpfull & friendly when w e've gone there & very reasonably priced new homes.

I've been dealing with Jess from Homebuyers since January. She has helped me so much! From helping me decide on land, to showing me all of my different options laid out in plain, easy to read and understand information. Out of all the display homes and websites I looked at, the ABN brand caught my eye with their quality and customer service. I'm super excited to start my building process and even better knowing that it's with such a reputable brand. If anyone is on the fence about who to build with - I highly recommend reaching out to Homebuyers and more specifically, Jess. Even if you just want to chat and find out your options, everyone's so helpful :)

Would defiantly recommend homebuyers. They have a fantastic crew ready to help you all the way. From your house design to helping you choose all your little finishing touches during pre start. Also from letting you know how much you can borrow. All the way to signing your mortgage documents. They are all there to help and they do such a fantastic job.

Very unhelpful and untrustworthy. After building with this organisation 6 years ago weve had nothing but issues and problems with the final house. They were quick to take our money and offered ABSOLUTLY NO HELP when we noticed problems arising in structural defects. FOR GODS SAKE NEVER BUILD WITH THIS COMANY!!!!

We are at pre-construction stage at the moment but have only good things to say about the whole team and process so far. Peter Iozzi has been so patient and helpful and Eilidh in Prestart was pure gold! Very happy so far!

This is now the third time we have built with homebuyers and we have just had better and better service. The Homebuyers team are always keeping us upto date and checking if everything is ok. The attention to detail during the sales process was also great.

We dealt with one sales person who ensured he got back to us when required and was happy to look at our concerns and any needs we had without just trying to upsell like most other sales people.

From my first enquiry about building a home, the response from Homebuyers Centre has been top notch. Staff are efficient, professional and make you feel valued. As a first home buyer, I really appreciate the way in which Homebuyers has unpacked the complex process into meaningful stages.

They're nice until you sign the build contract. They ripped me off on the price wouldnt give me break downs as requested, dodgy. Wouldnt allow me to make small simple changes to things in and around the house, stuffed up the noise requirements, tried to charge me for their stuff ups, still now having things fixed after the house has been built! Forgot major fittings during the build! Design isnt very good. The builders contractors left so much rubbish its appalling! Im still finding rubbish underneath the sand months later when tryign to plant garden! The fixtures and fittings in the house are all flimsy and feel like theyll break when you use them.. like the wardrobe doors... they dont care. Theyre a rip off dont use them.

From the very beginning, the experience was easy and exciting. The whole team was very open and honest with us over the whole process and always easy to get a hold of and answer any and all questions we had. They always made sure we had all the information we needed and more to feel comfortable.

The house was built within the timeframe they gave us and my father in law who is a builder could not pick a single fault with the build, everything was perfect. As first home buyers, we were very nervous about building, but If we ever had any questions or concerns the team always made sure to let us know what was going on and made us feel very relaxed through the whole process.

We had a pretty hard time building with HBC, the beginning was good and promised the world, but then during the process it was hard and things we where told we could and would be having in our home where not possible because they do not do it despite being told yes and even to the point paying for something that we where expecting ($2000) and being completely wrong and only to be told its our fault its too bad. we ended up having to spend more then expected to make changes because of what we where told to what they actually do and still I hate looking at the house because it is not what I wanted, overall i am giving 2 stars it would be one but we had a great building supervisor at the end who actually tried to look after us and has saved a 1 star review the customer service in the office is below standard of what you would expect. in summary we had alot of issues throughout and would not build a house with them again. we are hoping the build actually lasts and we do not find too many issues down the track now that our 1 year warranty has started. if you are building with them good luck and i hope you dont have the experience we had and left with parts of a house which will always be an eyesore.

Our experience with HomeBuyers Centre WA has been absolutely amazing so far. Our new homes consultant, Jai Ferguson, is the best!!
He is so quick to respond to any communication or queries etc. We certainly feel we are in very capable hands with him.

EXPECT DELAYS
Sales guy promised a lot, from my experience take a note book to every sales meeting. everything you want and are important to you, write them down and if they agree that they will make it happen get them to sign and date because oh boy, I wish I had. Once you ve signed that contract you re done. Let me put it to you straight if you don t ask you won t be informed, things you think would be standard (because we the customers don t build a house for a living and as a first home buyer I don t have the knowledge) or logical to be included won t be. And by the time you realise (pre start) and complain, they don t care, the contract is sign too bad. The service team are nice and friendly, they ll apologise and thank you for the feedback and tell you they ll do better next time....... (basically for the next customer) even though you are still through the process. If it s not specified on the addenda forget it because it won t be included even if your sales sales person promised it will be.
PRESTART , look it was an emotional day (cried my eyes out and embarrassed myself in front of the pre start consultant) finding out that my sales person had lied through his teeth, even tho I had proof.... however
as I said if it s not in writing and signed forget it. I liked my selection, the range is great for the value you pay. The consultant could be more sympathetic but hey it wasn t her fault, she is a sales person.
BUILDING, look I don t know who submits these very important structural plans however they probably need further training, the wrong floor plan was submitted to the concreter, so my slab was shorter on one side, wasn t great as there was a 3 week delay to try workout the cheapest way to fix it. HOWEVER Damien my site supervisor ( the only person I will name) as he was OUTSTANDING really genuinely tried to make it up to us. He is also the reason this experience is getting 3 stars instead of 1. From the slab point we didn t have many delays ... expect ...
Practice Completion, now I was told my house was ready for a new home inspection Monday 20th of Jan, the earlier viewing I could book was Friday the 25th of Jan. Now to my shock, my house wasn t finished, the scosher s In bed 2 and 3 were ripped out for the wardrobes to go in (fair enough) but weren t completed before I viewed the house?????? Wall tile missing in laundry, towel rails were on the wrong walls at wrong height, also WRONG BATH INSTALLED. Yeah thanks guys for that generous $1190 of compensation.
Really really generous.... totally made up for me feeling like crying and after 12 months of emotionally draining experience, I walked into an unfinished home, that would delay my move in period even more, BUT they were sorry, and said they would do better in the future. If you have read this far, people are human so expect errors and delays. However don t trust your sales guys, get it all in writing everything else is smooth sailing, also during your build make sure to request a walk through ever week or two especially after lock up. Take pictures and keep a note book. Keep them accountable as you are the Customer and a lot of money is at stake.
PS. I found as a young builder ( 22 years old), I may have been treated the way I was because I seemed easily misled ( yes because of my age). So if you are a young builder, and have parents or relatives that have built before, take them with you. Your experience will be different trust me.

A friend referred Homebuyers Centre to me and my wife. And we were not disappointed! From start to finish everything ran smoothly. From choosing of the lot, adjusting the design to suit our specific needs, sorting the financing, i mean everything. The team that handled our account were superb and very easy to speak with. The promos included in our build was astounding couldn t ask for more. Most inclusions are the special request mostly anyone would ask from a builder. The budget was on point as they have promised. The quality of workmanship in building are in high standards. Happy and contented upon moving in.

Blake Garvey and the team at Homebuyers Centre made what initially seemed like a stressful process of building my first home one that was exciting and EASY! Blake was supportive throughout the entire process, never pushed me to make a decision, happy to spend hours explaining everything to me and was eager to answer all questions no matter how many times I asked or what time of the day or night I asked. We built up a two story hose with Homebuyers Centre and the customer service was terrible. First of all our Sales person ( Im not writing down his name here) referred us to their broker service for the financial support and they screw up everything.

Every time when you speak to get an update from the builder its a different person and you need to tell the whole story back to the new person. Customer service team promise to call back but they never call back. But the site supervisor John Bolton was excellent.We found him as an awesome person. very helpful.Answered all queries. thanks again John

HBC team is extremely organised and friendly, always prompt.
My wife and I are really happy with our builder choice. We have been to other 4 builders prior and Homebuyers was the ones who best suited our needs.

Our entire experience with Jai has been amazing, from the moment we walked into the Eden Beach display home he wasnt at all pushy and offered the best advice he could. He has been patient through all of our last minute changes and redrafting of our plan. As for the costing, Jai prepared us from the very start to avoid any surprises down the line and he was there to tell us when we were getting ahead of ourselves to avoid going over our price limit. Overall our experience has been a 10/10 and we are very grateful to have come across Jai, it wouldnt be the same without him.

My experience has been fantastic with Homebuyers. Nothing has been left to surprise and everything that has been said by word of mouth has been then backed up as originally quoted. They don't mess around and that has made things great. I would definitely recommend.

I highly recommend Joel Elsley, we came to see what floor plans he could draw up for us and he absolutely nailed it, and he added the basic extras into our budget so we actually have a finished house for the price we wanted.

This is the first time we have built with homebuyers and although we have just completed our pre start I have never been so impressed with a company that I have purchased anything from. Our sales consultant Damien was first class and led us in the right direction
We arrived at the pre start a day early (my fault I got the date wrong. ) Jo Cunningham was our consultant and it was her first day back after the Christmas break.
We could have been told to come back the following day but Jo rescheduled her whole day to accommodate us.We were so glad we did.
The next few hours were wonderful, Jo never missed anything, her knowledge and coordination skills were second to none.
With the help of this amazing lady we left our pre start knowing that we will be moving into an absolutely amazing home.

I built my house 3 years ago in the south west and utterly regret. They promise so many things but believe this, your home will not worth more for being a Dale Alcock. I think I was ripped off in so many levels. They just trick me into signing quickly and then just disappointment. When it was time to choose the tiles the options were awful and I have to choose from the I board. I wavant happy at all. They organise the block and land deal so after a while the title wasn't ready. So they got to change blocks but my house was a already designed and they said I would have to pay for changing the design even if it wasn't my fault. I have to out an extra $40k on the block so I could do much on the house. No empathy from them . I have the worst 90's style titles throughout the house and the worst was that a month after I sign the contract they changed the whole titles options and have one's that I love to bits and even thought the house hasn't start the building process because of the block saga, I wasn't aloud to change. You know when You put all your money, pay the.mortgage with your blood and hate your house? That's me. My neighbour just a sold his house $70k more than what my house is Worthing at the moment. But my neighbours went with a different builder that for the same price I pay he got a much better finishing throughout. I got vinyl throw in the house, horrible blinds that got broken very quickly, pantry door the same. The front pavers is all sinking, and worst I have this big block and could have had a much better design but they refused to do it. If I could go back in time I would go with someone else. I was deceived
That I would be better off by having a Dale Alcock building, just a scam.

There were some issues identified by the building inspectors. The report was sent to HBC and they have taken prompt action to fix the issue. There was lot of dilemma buying the house but based on HBC's superior professionalism and fair business policy, I went ahead with the purchase and love residing in the house.

I built through Homebuyers Centre and it was the best decision I ever made!! This company is amazing. Their staff are knowledgeable and prepared to go the extra distance. They are happy to go through every step with you and explain the process in plain English. I've been in my home for nearly a year and I STILL love the feeling of coming home to a space that is all mine! If you are thinking of make the move to build...do it....and make contact with Homebuyers Centre. You wont regret it :)

I met with Jonathan in early December and by the 8th a house contract was signed! I had no idea about building and he took the time out to go through it with me, any questions I had he answered, I m ever so greatful! I was then passed onto Beth who helped me with my online portal questions, again any questions I had were answered promptly.. then I had my official prestart in January and Shauna was nothing but helpful! Homebuyers gave me so many extras without asking and I m so greatful to be building with them! Highly recommend!

Homebuyers Centre is the place to go if you are looking to build a home. They have great house designs with great inclusions to suit any budget. My New Homes Consultant, Jess was professional, very knowledgeable and willing to help with anything that she could!

We will be building with homebuyers very soon. So far their sales, availability for questions and showroom access has been 1st class. The showroom displays are really well set out to make colour scheme choices easier.

Really pleased with the friendly and helpful service I've received right up from the first phone call to Homebuyers Centre staff. We built with homebuyers 2019 with completion in September. Were very happy with the finished home. Price was a big factor for us and our sales consultant Paul along with Dillion at resolve finance made our dream possible.

Were now in a way better position paying the same amount in rent on a mortgage towards something we will actually own.

Quality on our build seems good and Cora kept us informed along the way with regular email updates.

As they are the biggest builders in WA, they are very process driven and that makes everything streamlined.

In the future if we want to build again, we will definitely
return to homebuyers.

Homebuyer's Centre in Osborne Park have been a blessing for my partner and I. An initial web inquiry about finances was followed by a call from HBC within five minutes, and now, 12 months later, our home is almost complete. The team have been passionate, sympathetic, patient and extraordinarily helpful.

We have dealt primarily with Chris Evans and Krystal Taylor, though many others have been a part of our journey, and we have found these people to be personable, approachable, compassionate, and willing to go above and beyond the call of duty. Chris and Krystal have both been available out of business hours to soothe anxieties, answer questions, and in a couple of instances, even drop paperwork off for us, when circumstances prevented us from doing it.

Nothing is too much trouble for the team at HBC Osborne Park, and without them, we'd never have had the confidence, the financial know-how or the drive and support to design and build our own home.

Not sure they know what they are talking about. First they said they could help me with a relatively flat coastal block, then they couldn't. Then they said I wouldn't qualify for a government grant, then I would. Then they apologized for the confusion and disconnected the call. Anyway, new house buying is a "process"

I have been really happy with my experience from the homebuyers centre. This was my first build and from the beginning the process has been smooth, straight forward and well explained, which is exactly what you want!

Whatever contractors you use or even if it's your own tradesmen, I've had nothing but issues since the lot next to me has started their building process! I'm a new mum with a now 4 month old and the past weeks have been consistent morning starts of 5.22am at the earliest or between 5.30am an 6am.

I've had a plank of wood slip from their hands and bang off my window! My fence down which I have 2 dogs and my husband who works away so it gives me no security whatsoever!

A little bit of consideration for residents surrounding would be extremely helpful and nice so we can expected the unexpected.

Great building experience and wonderful customer service from start to finish. A variety of design option to choose from. Every stage being updated by staff to the clients.

Couldn t be more pleased with our process at this time. Currently in the pre construction and am just astounded with the effort the people at homebuyers put in to make everything easy, simple and enjoyable. Our consultant has been there every step of the way, everyone is always willing to answer questions making myself and my partner feel extremely comfortable with the whole process. I love how quick everything has gone for us, having it be the best option. Our consultant was extremely organised, helpful and friendly. All of our plans look good, our consultant listened to everything we said and asked. Can t wait for our construction to start! Seeing how much less we had to pay to build than buy already established swept us off our feet and made us want to go ahead straight away. Having the people at homebuyers work outside of regular working hours helped us out so much. The reason for putting four stars instead of five is just because sometimes it can be hard getting responses in less than 12-24 hours at certain times of the day and I m still waiting to see our end result but have extreme confidence!
