every time I call the check your position phone number when I get to click one to use your last 4 of your social security number it hangs up on me has been doing it for days its getting really frustrating

Home Forward (formerly known as the Housing Authority of Portland) is a joke. In addition to their inability to adequately manage properties themselves, they have local non-profit agencies leasing properties from them. This has therefore led to the non-profit s responsibility for the management of those properties. From what I have personally witnessed from one non profit, they are 100% ill equipped to mange the role they have taken on, as well as a total failure to have a dedicated property manager. Based on other reviews, why would anyone come forward and jeopardize their housing?

Due to coronavirus concerns, Home Forward offices were closed. Fortunately, they had a drop box so we could drop off our recertification paperwork. Kudos

It is almost impossible to get experienced people filling the maintenance and manager positions at the place I am living.Nothing ever gets repaired because non of the maintenance people have a clue what or how to repair anything.Home forward is not following guide lines at all.No wonder there are so many Law suits against this company.And there will be alot more if I hear what the tenants are saying.Not myself personally but this place is just not following guidelines set by homeforward and the state
So I had to turn in some paperwork at Home forward and my husband and had been having a rough day. Before we got there he finally opened up after some, what seemed like 6 years. We sat in the car and I listened. For the first time, in a long time.
Then I see someone from Home Forward. I knew she was out of there. I talked to her for a bit and told her our situation. Nicole so politely and genuinely said. "I'll got take it to ......." Out of the trials we had faced today, she made her way in to help out someone in need. Thank you Nicole!!! You brightened our day.
