Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg Reviews

I was at Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg in February, 2020. What a nice surprise. They have upgraded a lot of things such as the restaurants, gaming floor and customer service. There were many changes both big and small that made my visit a much better experience. I went to the buffet and was pleased at how nice it was with all of the improvements. Thank you Hollywood for continuing to make positive changes. Your casino feels and looks more like I am in Las Vegas.

$5 dollar craps table! You will know the staff and they will always remember you. Made a lot of friends playing here. Miss being able to go. Shout out to Benny! Hard 6 forever!

Safe clean place to go and just relax, I felt very safe here, people had on masks, and sanitizer everywhere, hope you all enjoy your visit

Used to be a great casino with a amazing card room but now reminds me of a old casino on Freemont Street

I always have a good time here. There is plenty of slot machine variety. I just wish you had the option to apply your earned rewards toward either food or free play.

I go there and win tons of money. I mean who wouldn't like that place.

This is my first time at a casino. I had a lot on the Fate 8 penny slot machine. The people were very friendly.

dont give promo and 20.00 playing .50 ( not alot) didnt even win a penny

I'm going back today after probably a year. I had a coupon to stay overnight and they put us on the 5th floor I believe.We were woke up early morning to bed bugs.I was mortified to say the least.I will never spend the night there but I will try gambling.

I went to play in the sunday am Hold-em tournament. The dealers are very good, cashiers are always awesome, & the managers....well manage (as they should). I always enjoy playing at Hollywood, you will too.

Rooms here were fine. We just wanted a place to sleep and take a shower after doing a little gambling. The casino is a little dates, but we came on a Sunday evening, and had no problems finding games we wanted to play. The table limits were a little high considering no one was actually playing. Had dinner at 99 Hops Pub, and enjoyed the meal. They had a great selection of beer that changes frequently. We'll probably go again in the future.

I dont go often, and even with Ohio opening it's own casinos and my 90 minute ride, I still prefer this location, mainly because I play primarily table games.

Spend 3k everytime and never wins. Maybe 500 back the most. Slot machine is so tight... maybe I shouldn't spend that much there.

Great place to gamble and visit... horrible place to work as a subcontractor.

Much better than our last visit!! No more computer glitches, lots of new machines. Very busy Saturday night, but still able to find plenty of open slots. Fun night!

Hollywood Casino are VERY CHEAP !!! I go there alot & they NEVER Mail me free hotels , Buffett , ect !!! I go the Risin Sun & the mail me Free Hotels all the time . Risin Sun values there customers & Hollywood DOES NOT !!!!

The cashier is absolutely ridiculous! Slower than molasses and understaffed. Waiting 30 minutes to redeem chips in unacceptable!

Don't be in a hurry to eat at the OH restaurant. Lunch can take up to 1 1/2 hours before you get out of there, and the food is nothing to Weight home about. Mediocre at best. If you go late to the buffet, the good stuff is all gone and the rest dried out. I've noticed that most of the guards, dealers and slot attendants are very friendly and polite.

Our service at the buffet was great. The crab legs are very good, the rest of the food was good. I think $40 is a bit high though. Our valet service was very good too.

Hostess and waitresses were excellent; so was the food!

Friday night seafood prices have gone up, but as long as they keep the FROG LEGS AN MUSCLES, it's worth it. If they take the frog legs off the menu, then . . . Not sure it's worth it.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel at the casino this past weekend. The hotel staff was friendly and the room was very cozy. The casino atmosphere was delightful and the staff there was amazing too. It was a great weekend!

Good times with friends . Staff friendly options limited of course due to pandemic, overall first visit back was a happy visit.

As far as casinos go, it's easy to getbto and get around in.

Very clean, lots of food choices even late night but the slots are super tight.. should have gone to our local Hoosier Park and saved the 3 hour drive round trip.

People are not allowed to have drinks after machines but people are allowed to drink beer and smoke two cigarettes so what's wrong with this picture

This is a fun place to go with a very comfortable atmosphere. Hotel is reasonably priced and connected to the casino by a inside walkway. Nothing fancy, but nice enough and clean. Check out "Boogie Nights" nightclub for a throwback to the 80's night of the kind of fun you would have at the last wedding reception everyone let their hair down and had a great time!

My husband and I stopped at the Hollywood Casino on a whim. We even spent the night. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and helped us with all of our questions. They even have us a good deal for the room. We went and played cards for hours and walked back to our room winners. We had such a fun time. The dealers were very nice too. They had to teach us the card game. We will definitely go back on a whim again.

Was there last week. The upgraded rooms are very nice. Casino has very loud music and the slot machines wasn't very giving, but staff is very nice and friendly! The Host staff is wonderful. Final Cut is EXCELLENT!

Very nice casino and hotel go there all time with hubby.

Large casino, loads of machines, plenty of table games. Clean, but VERY smokey. Great restaurants. Friendly staff.

Had no problems with reserving a hotel room for 2 days during the week. They kept the casino so freezing cold that it was hard to enjoy playing in it for very long. Also they need to open up their buffet during the week days so that people who they offer free hotel room stays to have a place to eat instead of having to leave the casino/hotel in order to get something to eat.

Absolute favorite place to gamble my money away. We always have a great time

These slots are so tight you better be sure to bring some oil with you. It's no fun when you ALWAYS lose.

Pros: Fun place, lots of games and a good selection of table games and an expanded non-smoking area. Wait Staff are courteous, and fast. They have a buffet that is awesome, and a couple if bars not in the gambling area that are really nice and a large bar in the gambling area that stages live bands.

Cons: It is a smoking establishment, BUT it doesn't seem over powering. The wait staff can be hard to find when sitting at a slot machine.

Overall: If you can, this is a good place to have a good evening out with you friends or your S.O.

I was hesitant to go because I did not enjoy Hollywood in Columbus OH. I really enjoyed myself! They had many fun and exciting games to play. Will definitely visit again.

It was ok. I think the club needs a coat check! That would have made for a much better experience!

The casino is extensive and boogie nights is fun. The hotel is very much lacking though. Thin sheets, no amenities.

Gaming tables, slots, video poker and resturants. Many types and denomination of slots. Large selection slots and tables in a large open area. Even during busy times your not squashed up together and able to move around. Offers non-smoking on lower area. All u can eat crab legs on friday night. Easy access off and on 275.

Not very many good paying slots, payouts change depending on what day a week it is. All the fun machines are taken usually, but I've been to worse.

Slot of patrons not wearing masks but the machines were well spaced and not very crowded at 11:00 at night. I felt comfortable.

Buffet is passable. Casino isn't bad. They have more games than in Columbus but there is smoking allowed.

Loved it! This place is amazing! But it is Huge! Try not to get lost...
