I usually love this place and make a point to visit when I'm in town. However, on my most recent visit, the staff was extremely rude.

Too much to take in all at once. Can't wait to go back again.

Hollander's just gave me one of those moments that made me wonder why I go out of my way to pay more for less options by shopping locally.

Their Wednesday business hours, posted on their front door, google, and yelp, are until 7pm.

I showed up at 6pm and all the doors were locked. I knocked on the glass door until the man inside looked up, yelled something unintelligible, and then just pretended I wasn't there when I kept knocking.

If you change your business hours then change your damn signs and update your information online. If you can't service a customer who is trying to do business with you, then don't be rude about it.

Next stop- friendly neighborhood internet retailer!

A surprising collection of paper, maps, & shopping bags. I expected not to buy anything, but found several things.

Very niche store, but if you need paper, Hollanders is your place. The sheer selection and variety that is contained in a small shop in kerrytown is just incredible

I was there to pick out supplies for book making. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I was able to get book board, decorative cover paper, inside cover paper (lokta), paste, headbands, mesh, thread, and more. Great selection.

This store can and will blow your mind. Strengths are breadth of the inventory, service, and the price variety. The papers are beautiful, and there are so many other products, including cards and some textiles as well. Individual and boxed cards have a range of prices. Customer service was excellent.

Ephemera. Exquisite collection of paper, art supplies, calligraphy, cards.

Hollander's has a great selection of high-quality paper products, and things to go with them. They have artist-quality watercolor paper and blank card stock in various colors. They also have decorative textured papers that can be used in many ways. I recently bought sheets of wrapping paper with images so beautiful that I framed them. They also have a selection of printed cards, including plenty of Edward Gorey items. In one corner of the store, there is a selection of paints, brushes, pens, inks, sketchpads, and do on. Thus, it is a great shame that Hollander's has announced that they will be closing in June 2020.

Love love love all the cool paper goods here. I'm not a book binder/maker, so I haven't really delved into that section of the store, but at least from glancing it seems like they have a lot of specialty and quality book making supplies. Prices are ok - not low, but not exorbitantly high. Overall, great shop, always a feast for the eyes to visit, although perhaps a tad hard on the wallet.

This place has an incredible selection of papers in all kinds of prints. I guarantee you'll find something unexpected. It's absolutely worth stopping by even if you just want to browse.

My favorite place in Ann Arbor. Paper products to the nines, and many journals and bookmarks to choose from. I use some of the papers as posters, so dorm-dwellers and off-campus people should check it out. I wish they more clearly publicized the book or journal creation aspect. It feels like a neglected, but vital, part of the experience.

Wonderful array of specialty papers and art supplies!

Everything is so expensive, but I want to have it all! I love touching the greeting cards and feeling all the textures of things I can't have. There's usually a sample of an art supply by the register- this time it was a block of graphite and a bowl of water, and other times it's been flowy markers.

We love going into this store every time we're in the Tarrytown area. Always something to see and usually something to take home. Great selection of paper, quality cards, and puzzles. I don't know of another store with this kind of paper selection anywhere in SE Michigan.

I love Hollanders! I go there to buy nice paper for screenprinting and other graphic design projects. The employees are always very helpful. I could spend hours here looking at and feeling all of the paper.

I love this store. I always take people from out of town here. I like to see what ideas I can get from the different paper they have. They also make awesome posters.
