Holiday Inn Express and Suites Jackson, CA Review

First time staying in Jackson, Ca. at the Holiday Inn Express. Customer service was good and employees were friendly and helpful. The check in and checkout went smoothly. Upon arrival to our room we found that the room was clean and the bed sheets were comfortable. The bathroom did not have conditioner in the liquid soap conatainer which was a bummer because for a $158.00 room I felt simple things like that should be taken care of. I did also feel the price for a Sunday night to be a bit expensive for the location.

Really a great hotel. Everything is new and shiny and it has a great breakfast selection. Close to doing and dining in the historic downtown district. Great amenities as well b

FRAUD!!!! BEWARE!!!! stayed one night, then get a bogus charge 4 days later. They stated I booked a reservation on Expedia, which I never did. Had to cancel card. Rude people... DO NOT RECOMMEND

Location was nice and close to shopping malls, rooms were very well kept and everytging seemed crisp and new. Staff was very friendly and helpful.Paying attention to detail is what impressed me the most. Will for sure stay here again

Stayed almost a month for work. I had a newer remodeled room and it was a pleasant stay. Staff was awesome!

Super nice. Clean. Breakfast is yummy. The pool is nice. Front desk clerks are always welcoming and attentive.

I arrived at 2 pm and the woman at the front desk refused to check if any rooms were available for an early check-in. I have never been to a hotel with such a rude front desk employee and I will not be staying here again.

It was very clean! Good location and comfortable, but the price for a suite is a bit to high for the area.

Awesome room that was clean. I took my three kids and the really enjoyed the clean pool. There was not much in the town but it was the closest to Moaning Caverns.

Had an awesome stay August 17th - 19th, 2018. There was a little hiccup with the reservation for one of the days but they straightened it out and were very apologetic. The rooms were well outfitted with fast and free wifi access and the beds were very comfortable (even for a guy with a bad back).

The pool was a bit chilly but we didn't mind since it hit 102 both days. It was clean and well maintained as were the entire grounds in general. The morning complimentary breakfast included omelettes, biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, boxed cereals and various kinds of bread. Drinks included the typical OJ, apple juice, and milk.

We also forgot to do the mobile check out because our children had a meltdown as we were heading out but when we called they said they saw that there were no personal belongings and they checked us out automatically which was nice. I was a bit worried I might be charged an additional day there for a minute.

Overall, very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend.

This place was very clean and they set us up with free breakfast available which came in bags due to COVID. The staff was friendly and answered our questions with places to go.

I reserved the room thru hotels.com & it was paid & reserved charged to my credit card,yet when we arrived the clerk stated it was held for but not paid for & so at that point we had to take his word for truth & my boyfriend paid cash,it wasn't till I was able to check the next day that we realized I had paid for the room,plus the smoke detector was missing... Anyways not a great representation of Holiday Inn,Express or otherwise.. and not trustworthy at all! The view from our room was the best part of it all but not worth paying double as we were Forced to do! Dirtbag night clerk!

I had to give it 1 star. If I had it my way I wouldnt give it any stars. They don't treat employees good. They have a bully running the front counter. The owner cares about $$$$ n nothing else. He treats the cleaners like slaves.

Nice enough staff. Free breakfast. Clean and neat rooms. Under construction, which is a bit of a hassle.

Day 13- Hold still on my credit card even though I was told by IHG it would take up to 10 days, its been 13 days, and now I called them and said it would now take up to 20 days and their rudeness and unprofessionalism continues.

So disgusted with their service. Great building, but the front desk staff in the morning was grumpy and curt. Left for the day before noon, came back at 6pm, to a room that was not cleaned at all, and the front desk informed me they could not do anything beyond bringing some towels.

Very nice. They seemed to be challenged in their breakfast service. They were out of multiple items. Coffee, bacon, biscuits, gravy. Could only manage to bring out one thing at a time. Had an excuse for it. Didn't seem to have a problem taking a smoking break when should have been more concerned about replenishing food. Priorities! Multiple customers were commenting about the service, or lack there of. I would stay here again. The facility is very clean. Seemed to be well taken care of.

Great for the price for a quick overnight stay. Rooms are clean. Beds and pillows are comfy. No central air. The window ac/heater unit is a bit loud. The pancake machine at breakfast is awesome. The staff is friendly.

There are 2 major hotel chains in Jackson there is this place and another. This is much better than the other. Ive been to both. Holiday Inn express is relatively new, furnishings are new and in good repair, the bed is Huge but very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and clean. Pool is open and kids like it. On a really good note this site doesn't seem to have much road traffic noise (a good thing). There is a limited continental breakfast served in togo containers. The cinnamon rolls are very tasty. Ive enjoyed my stay so far. Plenty of parking for all sizes of vehicles. Easy to get in and out of.

Room smelly, key didn't work had to wait for guard to take key back to the office and return with another key it was after 1am i had my 4 yrs old grandson with me.

Staff is friendly, the room amenities are great, area is safe and calm. There is free breakfast buffet in the morning. Rooms are nice.
