I would give 0 stars if I could. My solicitor Mr. Edward Jones failed to attend my first hearing and made everything very difficult. The only communication with him was by emails to him and his help/gf Lily Ngo. They forgot to mention on their emails that Mr Jones is on annual leave on the day of my hearing so HE IS NOT COMING for the hearing. He emailed me this just 15 mins before the hearing starts. I had different solicitor from hja that came 30mins later but by then I was really upset and frustrated.

Please don't trust the good reviews, they are100% fake.

The people that work there are scammers! Edward Jones is not even qualified as solisitor. Don't trust anything they are saying like "I have over 16 years of experiance..." , all of them should be filling the shelves in Asda

For a firm of lawyers I was not expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised with how this firm was. We were very happy with the service provided by Andrew. I would definitely recommend and use them again in the future.

Very poor experience with this firm. I had an initial discussion with a solicitor regarding my circumstances and was advised to make contact with him in due course if I wished to instruct him to act on my behalf. I e-mailed at a later date to enquire if this would be possible however I did not receive a reply to this or any communication to confirm that they would not be willing to do so. I assume they were not interested in taking my case on despite suggesting the opposite on initial consultation. I understand that a firm is not under any obligation to represent someone however I would have expected the basic courtesy of a reply. I think my experience reflects that of a number of others who have left reviews commenting on poor communication or the lack thereof. At what was a very stressful and difficult time you can do without complete indifference as was shown to me. No doubt I will now get a reply from Customer Services with some Covid 19 excuse or more likely nothing at all to avoid having to provide an explanation for this poor service.
Based on this I would not recommend their services.

I've used this firm dating back to the 1980s, when they acted for me against the Met Police (won.) More recently, I used them for an employment situation (won) and they also handled my divorce. Again, won. I've just been reminded of these gains when recommending them to someone who needs a good lawyer, and I felt secure suggesting them because I've not had anything other than positive outcomes from them over past 30 years. On the one occasion I went off-script (!) used a lawyer that someone else recommended because he was Black and so am I and I thought he might understand my predicament, the advice was so bizarre and to my shame and regret I went with it/him and of course it ended badly. Very badly. I still get angry with myself thinking of it years later. Just my experience!

At a most stressful time I felt supported and most of all the advice given was clear and well explained . I am so grateful for all they did and they care about how you are. My case was complicated and long and they handled everything very well. A case relying in old information, witnesses and experts testimony. Even the expert witnesses they chose were very professional, experts in their fields. Finally they were able to prove my case after many years of hard work.

AVOID WASTE OF TIME, Worse experience I ever had with a solicitor, the Housing solicitor made me run around and book appointments with 3rd parties to get the information we agreed the night before.

When I email the female solicitor the next day after making the required appointments, I was told she could not help me, why could she not have told me or emailed me on the same day, rather waste my time or 3rd parties time, she was not friendly to disabled individuals, has no understanding and feel, I was discriminated against.

The female solicitor from the housing department (S.P) was a complete waste of time and very rude. Avoid as it seems a common issue with them from what I read on forums. based on my experience look for another firm.

no your Solicitor was bias she told me she was able to assist. Funny how other firms were able to assist.

Food was ok, try the share platter with 1 or 2 more people. The waiter we had was amazing csnt remember his name but even ended tipping him extra. Great customer service and amazing staff.

They say 'fight for what's right, but after being driven to feeling suicidal by failure to act on my behalf without putting money on their account when it was covered by legal aid, and being told 'we're a business', it's clear it's more 'fight if you give us money'. While I agree you need to be paid for work outside of what is covered by legal aid, expecting vulnerable clients to give you money without knowledge of the need for it if disclosures prove there is little cause, then you are not acting in the client's best interest, and were using this as leverage.
And please do not come back with your automated response, I've seen these, and I even referenced one of these reviews to you, and which I'm sure they too suffered similar experiences. Solicitors care only about the cash, not the cause. Typical ambulance chasing law firm in my view.

Edward Jones and his team have been a great help for me these past few months and therefore would recommend to anyone in need of legal aid.

I called this firm for representation on a disrepair issue. I had a really good case and lots of grounds to claim. the solicitor I spoke with invited me in, I got a cab there as I have medical issues. He was 30 minutes late and did not apologise. He was abrupt, indifferent uncaring and abrasive. He didn't seem to know what he was doing and had to keep referring to his laptop and then told me No. I cant help you and started to pack his things away. He informed me I wasn't entitled to legal aid which I am, as there is detriment to our health because of the issues. I have since had another firm take on my case and had legal aid granted. Completely wasted my time and actually caused me a great deal of anxiety. Although I am sure most are very competent solicitors at this firm I would not recommend them

My experience with HJA dealing with the matters following my husband's death was extremely helpful, effective and supportive. Everything was dealt with speedily and thoroughly.

Appalled with the service, the lady that I spoke to was huffing and puffing when I was trying to explain my situation and spoke to me as if I was a child, she then said she couldn t stay on the phone as she had somebody waiting. Why take my call then and ask me to explain. Infact why is someone like that employed in such a service? She took my details and said she would get back to me, it s been a week, still nothing. Needless to say I have found a better solicitors who are professional.

Don't be fooled by fancy packaging! This firm is located in smart building in Camden & has all the frills & trims BUT the service is appalling. Time wasting, takes ages to get back to you, total money chasers and just want to tick boxes and get you to sign on the dotted line...then after they couldn't care less. They claim to do all kinds of wonderful work for vulnerable ppl? Well I don't see it. They seem to be more interested in squeezing the last penny & pound out of clients cases. Not impressed by this firm, but then in all fairness not much decent law firms serving ordinary ppl & truly seeking justice for them ...so not too surprising

This company has been dealing with my personal injury claim which we won,I was informed on Tuesday that they'd received payment and my solicitor told me they was doing a bank transfer and I would receive my money by Wednesday,I checked the bank Wednesday no money so emailed my solicitor to be told it would now be Thursday,so checked the bank Thursday and again no money so emailed again as when I call just get answer machine,my solicitor then called back to say she just heard they got paid by cheque and was waiting for it to clear so the money would be in on Friday now,just checked again and yet again no money so emailed yet again and have now been told it should be Monday this is an absolute joke how can I be given so many different days surely they must know how long till it clears and goes into my account especially since my bank told me that cheque's now take less time to clear and good luck trying to find anybody to talk to about this sort of problem cause when I tried the complaints and feedback number they put on the reviews page I just got told they can't help me to talk to my solicitor but that's pointless as I'll just get nowhere cause she never seems to know herself when I'll receive my money it's an absolute joke.

For me it be very support by solicitor explain and good advice to help my case however took 2 year battle with case final is over team work did so well hard work.Best advice from me listen and check your case they will listen and help your case.

Contacted this firm RE:my landlord I felt that there was probably conflict of interest with london landlords.

My partner was severely affected by a police caution he received. We instructed Edward Jones who claimed a positive outcome but after almost 2 years of waiting the caution was not removed. It was hard to communicate with Ed as he became evasive and non-responsive. Very disappointed.

Avoid them like a plague! At first they will only want to give you advice even though you know the law. They are not here to help you but to help themselves.

There are many better solicitors out there who actually WORK for a living.
