HKUST Review

The view of the sea from the University is very nice. There is no MTR station at the campus. The buildings and the lecture halls looked new.

I'm studying here right now! Beautiful views of the Pacific and Sai Kung. Location is a bit inconvenient and limited vegetarian food. Cheap housing and food and free gym and badminton is available!

Hong Kong University of Science and Technology is a real abode of knowledge. It is amongst the best educational institutions across the globe. It has a lovely campus spread over an area of 60 hectares. HKUST has world's best faculties from different nations. It has achieved many feats till date and is aspiring for greater milestones to leave a trailblaze for others to follow. I am sharing this information because I have myself experienced the joy of visiting the campus and learning more about it.

There are not many schools in the world facing the mountains and the sea. HKUST is indeed the most beautiful school in Greater China ~

UST is one of the top universities in Hong Kong and the facilities are advanced and new!

The university is good for tourists and visiting but nightmare for students studying here. Worst quality of college system, teaching, crowd control, indoor environment & cleaning, culture, food and even bath room; but best quality of outside promotion and brand marketing. Rubbish university with immoral people focusing only on Ranking and "being agressive", but everything is actually fake. How dare such a university compare with HKU and CUHK? Ridiculous.

Beautiful waterfront views at the campus, but the architecture is a little disappointing as it resembles an overgrown carpark or public bathroom. University architectures should be inspiring and HKUST's facade certainly isn't that.

A great place to study. Would definitely recommend others thinking of applying to HKUST. Great environment, excellent facilities and supporting staff.

Hong Kong has the most beautiful scenery of both the university and my alma mater.

Amazing views all around the campus. The food quality isn't the best, but it's very cheap. The professors are good, and the students are friendly. There is no MRT stop, but you can be at one in 10 minutes with a minibus. Inconvenient to go downtown. Overall a great experience

One of the top university in Asia. Nice facilities, good restaurants, wonderful learning atmosphere and beautiful scenery. A very international place.

I attended while at Wash U. This was a great place then. I'm sure it still is now.

One of the colleges in Hong Kong is so good to have a college feel.

This university has gorgeous seaview. If you plan to visit, plan ahead and don't get stuck at the campus on the way back. The bus queue (or minibus/taxi) is very long in the evenings.

The school is well designed. Near the coast, the building has a unique shape that facilitates intensive air flow, so the place becomes windy most of the time. However, the school is far from the town, which you need bus to come and leave.

Plenty of seats available in the whole campus. Also with the gorgeous sea view! Just cannot ignore the view when walking in the campus.

If you know the way you can drive direct to the heart of UST, the lawn can be a good place for any games

The environment is beautiful, and the department is mainly related to science, business and technology.

The first time I come, I have to start my own four years. Maybe you should think about where you are after four years.

I will be attending HKUST MSc program this year. I understand that the University is Highly reputed with great infrastructure.

Great University, Free Entrance for Any one! But some parts of the university are in a forest, there will be a risk of dangerous animals there. At level LG7(not in any forest), The is a big flat land with grass. If you are hungry after all the playing, there is a big canteen! It doesn't require student cards. There is also a ParkNShop (Now Renaimed As "Fusion")Supermarket next to the canteen and it is next to the lift. there is a McDonald's at level LG5 at academic building. There is also a Carpark for visitors. It is from Level G-LG6 (Excluding LG2), but if you have bulky items, I don't recommend you to come to this Carpark because the lift doesn't stop at all levels, so you have to walk up the fire stairs to the lift level and plus you need to walk to the lift because you need to take the lift to exit at LG7 (The lift doesn't stop at Level LG7, so you need to take the lift to LG6).There Is Also A Prking Lot Near The Canteen At LG7.This Place Is also in the top ten places that tourist needs to come!!
