Hinckley Concordia Theatre Review

We watched our grandchildren in a dance show which we thoroughly enjoyed. Only problems most of the seats are a bit cramped. Fortunately we had some good seats.

A superb local theatre run by volunteers.
Not a bad seat in the house.
Every production I have seen here has been of a high quality.
Ticket prices are very reasonable.
If you haven't seen a show here I highly recommend it.

The Concordia has been a massive part of my life for the last 14 years. Amazing place, amazing people, amazing shows

Booked to see the pantomime 'Beauty and the Beast'. The sets and costumes were brilliant as was the performance of the dame and son Benny. Belle's voice was very good, but her acting a little wooden as were many of the other actors. Overall taking into account that it's amateur dramatics after all I would recommend booking tickets.

Lovely little theatre, car parking can be an issue on a capacity night, may need to search around if running late, small bar at intermission, comfortable seats.

Small rural theatre run by volunteers. Always a pleasure to go, and the productions are second to none.

I only went to the costume department. But the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Seating area in the auditorium need to be updated. Still have the original seating which is decades old. Terrible for those who are long legged

It's been a few years since we last went to the Concordia. The new revamped foyer and the lift to the auditorium looks fabulous. As ever a great night and a good show.

We went to the panto last night and it was absolutely brilliant. Loved every minute of it. Well done everyone.

Theatre located in Hinckley, it's ran by volunteers but producer's class project and is good for a night out.Theatre has a cafe & bar inside , so you can get drinks.

Great small theatre. Several local dramatic societies putting on plays.

Another excellent production by the Tin Hatters. This time a musical extravaganza creates from an idea of the late Chris Clark, procedures by his wife and daughter. Recalling musicals both new and old.

Great atmosphere first night for shelby show can't get enough of it. Brilliant to be part of it well done to all the dancers.

Pantomime Beauty and the Beast absolutely fantastic. Singing dancing costumes brilliant and so funny. Not to be missed.

Saw Oklahoma musical. A fantastic night out at our brilliant local theatre.

Easy access. Comfortable and clear views of stage. Good cafe quick series in breaks.

If you want to see a professional show at amateur prices you can't beat the Concordia. Well worth a visit.

Wonderful pantomime and a lovely theatre. Excellent performers, dancing and singing with all the kids lapping it up. One of the best I've seen!

It's great to have such a facility in the town such that I have responded at least twice to their requests for volunteers. Sadly there was no follow up so I wonder why they bothered appealing in the first place.

It's better than a lot of well known theatres. The shows are brilliant and so are the performers

The seats don't provide a lot of leg room, but for a community run theater it is excellent with lots of things on to see.

As always, a lovely experience. I saw a great family pantomime, all good clean fun!

Beauty and the Beast was brilliant. Really enjoyed it. We go every year even though the kids no longer come with us. You can't beat booing the villain!

Tinhatters were fabulous, especially as tonight was their opening night at the Musicals. Very moving and heartfelt at times, clearly there was a well loved and admired gentleman missing tonight, Chris Clarke. Well done everyone.

The show we saw was beauty and the beast, cast and overall show was incredible!

Lovely theatre with lots of local groups performing good quality performances

A nice venue, with a reasonably priced bar and coffee areas. Have seen many performances here and all have been wonderful. Only downside is the lift to the bar area hasn't been working for some time and this could be a problem for some visitors access.

Excellent show. Good as you will see on the professional stage. Well done by everyone.

Fantastic theatre with West End worthy productions. Lots of shows and variety - I always look forward to their next season!

Went to the pantomime with my 3 and 7 yr old granddaughters both really enjoyed it and we will be going again next year.

Fantastic theatre + staff are amazing. Great shows. Beware NCP car park opposite - strict charging + huge penalties if overstay slightly.

Went here for the first time on 06/03/18 to see The Vicar of Dibley. Had an amazing night out, and would definitely recommend the theatre to anyone that wants a pleasant night out. Drinks and snacks are also very reasonably priced.

Really enjoyed the evening. The Pantomime was brilliant. Actors were good ,costumes were fantastic. Been a few times and always enjoy the entertainment.
