Hilton Longboat Key & Holiday Inn Lido Beach Review

Good hotel. Comfortable, large terraces, facing the sea and close to the center.

Love this place my family and me go to this spot almost every year. It's an easy access to the beach and lots of restaurants and stores without you looking like to much of a tourist but awnest I love it here. Great view, the only down fall is the food in the restaurant up stairs , the food is ok but great breakfast and view!! I totally recommend this place for any vacation!

Excellent hotel, but you can hear the neighboring rooms a lot.

Nice hotel. My only complaint is the mandatory $25 fee they track on, which in my opinion is only to make it look like their rates are lower.

Hotel is a little outdated. Had difficulty getting room service as there were 3 numbers to order and none worked. Brought it up to manager and she was very receptive. Great view and location. AC in room need a little work

Very nice hotel allows dogs! Modern clean reasonably priced. Almost at the end of Lido Island!

Great location, nice big room. Fantastic cheese grits for breakfast! Helpful and friendly staff.

Shower and bathtub was gross. Room was small. From the pictures it looked like the pool had ocean views, it does not. Pool bar was awesome! Staff was very nice and accommodating!

Very clean, nice rooms, and great location on the beach and near tons of shopping and dinning locations. Employees were superb. I was very happy with my stay and will definitely be coming back.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!
Decent hotel, with decent rooms, wonderful views of the ocean.
I thought the sand dollar served a nice breakfast buffet, and delicious dinner. The lounge food was pretty decent too. Walking distance to the Lido beach, and St. Armand's circle is very convenient. I hope we will be able to come back, and stay longer.

Great hotel at the beach. Love the close proximity to St. Armand's circle for shopping and dining. Bathrooms could use some updating.

Over priced rooms the view is nice but that is about it. I was over changed on my account over $1,000 because the people there have no clue on what they are doing! Although there were maybe two good people who helped me. would never go back let alone they don't inform you that the hotel is under construction and is not at all up to par.

The staff could use some retraining in customer service. While they were very nice, they were ineffective. Our balcony door was broken. It would not open or close all the way. I let the front desk know and I was told maintenance would come up while we were out and fix it. That never happened. I thought I left something behind and I had to call four times to get a response to that issue. The manager spoke with me and told me she just had a busy day. Again, very nice. Just ineffective. She did give me a partial refund on the room because of the door. She also told me that I should have come back and told them again that it was broken. My husband and I had chosen to have an attitude of gratitude and not focus on what was wrong. The last thing I want to do on a birthday weekend is spend my time waiting in line at the front desk to tell them to fix their issues. Especially more than once. We did have a wonderful time in St. Armands circle. We will definitely be back. We will, however, not stay at this hotel. In fact, I think we will scratch off Holiday Inn's in general.

We stayed there overnight. The hotel is very nicely placed right across the street from the beach. It is nice however I feel it's a little overpriced because of its location.

place has gone down hill, smelly rooms, non working outlets and an unwanted guest "cockroach"!!

The price compared to others in the area for an ocean view was good. Great location. St. Armands Circle was a lovely place to shop and eat. Will be returning.

Great location, loved the beach. Pool very nice and clean, bar at the pool great with excellent service and foods. Bartender Debbie was wonderful and handled the crowd of people like a super woman.

Beautiful place! All the staff were extension friendly and professional. The room was exceptionally comfortable and clean. The restaurants were fantastic and all the waitstaff were attentive as well. Great place to stay!
