Reasonably priced hotel. Parking was $18 but you can come and go as you please. Staff at front desk was accommodating. Room was very clean. Room service was prompt. Only complaint is that it was a little noisy at night but we were next to the elevators so it was to be expected. Would stay again and recommend.

The Hilton Hartford is a great hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Though it was a 15 minute walk from our particular conference, it is pretty centrally located and close to restaurants and bars.

The rooms and the hotel itself is fine. It's the fees that suck. $10 charge to make a local call to a pizza place?! Ridiculous. $18 overnight parking fee? Ridiculous. Hartford, you're not NYC, stop charging NYC prices if you wish to attract more people.

Great location in downtown Hartford, between the XL Center and The Yard Goats stadium. Could be closer to Bears BBQ. However it is close to Vaughn's Irish Pub, Capital Spirits (best bottle shop in Hartford), and the Amtrak station (easy ride to NYC or Boston). Rooms are standard one of the few Hiltons with an Executive Floor and lounge. Staff does of great job or addressing problems and helping you put out fires.

I love the Hilton Hartford, the staff is 2nd to none. Seriously, however they made a a catastrophic change that is unacceptable to those business travelers. They completely got ride of their restuarant and changed to a "grab and go". They had 2 bars, now 1 miniscule bar. Unbelievable. How demeaning to their customers how disrespectful!!. I'm there every month sometimes multiple times a month. I cannot get a good meal there now. They have taken a world class hotel that this hotel was and made it no better that a convenience store. I am not the only customer who feels this way , I hear comments from everyone. I travel a lot I've NEVER been to a Hilton that didn't have a kitchen. Whoever came up with this idea should be fired. I am a very disappointed customer. I might as well go to a Marriott..

We had a wonderful stay and the staff from front desk, to bell men to housekeeping were terrific. Lot's of extra touches like giving playing cards to the kids in the lobby. We had an incredible view of the Washington Monument and White House and would highly recommend this property for it's convenient location and exceptional staf

Disgusting! Absolutely unacceptable for a Hilton. Room Door was open when I got there, so after checking the room for a possible intruder, decided to get settled in. Where to start, sheets were dirty and had to ask for new sheets after arriving at 1:30am. I really enjoyed making my bed all over again after a long work day. Little chair needs replacing, just look at the worn down cushions. Just terrible and gross! The Manager should be ashamed!

Nice hotel, but although I like the new concept "restaurant" just misses. The bakery and drink (coffee, tea, wine, etc) sections are great. I didn't get to try the soup and Mac& cheese section because on the Wednesday of my stay, it and the sandwich/salad sections were empty. The menu has a lot of choices, but they aren't great after they are microwaved. My flatbread was huge, but the middle was soggy, not a little soggy, it was left outside in the rain level of soggy. The hotel food area just needs a little more work and it could be an attraction.

The Hilton Hartford has a great location if you want to hoof it to all the restaurants and attractions in the area. I knocked off a star because the A/C was terrible and I had to open the window, which gave me the honor of listening to the traffic and sirens all night.

Im giving the Hartford Hilton 5 stars for one reason, Donna. She is an amazing person and deserves a raise! She made what is otherwise, and ordinary hotel, into a memorable place. I will be returning to the Hilton for all of my future business stays in Hartford! Thanks Donna!

Definitely watch out for what they charge... their accounting completely confused my expense reporting (for longer stays and if you need bill adjustments). They always charge diamond members premium internet and I always have to ask them to remove it. Other than the nuisance of billing, trying to reach them for bill adjustments, and occasional summer insects, service is great and everyone's friendly.

The new sports bar --- I hope it lasts long but it is overpriced. You can get a soda for $2 in the hotel, but its $3.20 for the same soda in the sports bar (you can literally walk 20 feet from the bar to buy the same drink for a 60% discount in the hotel lobby). Almost $7 for a bottle of beer. $12+ for a burger. I think the place is nice but there's no reason at all to pay this kind of money unless you're using the hotel as a place to stay and refuse to walk outside to one of the many local eateries and social spots. Even the hotel staff seems surprised at the high prices.

Update--I went in again and looked at a Rubin which was $13. I know airline pilots and corporate folks can bill this to their companies but these prices, considering the local options, don't seem to make sense. I understand they are not catering to the local folks but that is too bad b/c it seems like this place could be a nice regular place to visit. But I will avoid it unless someone else is picking up the tab.

I don't mean to disparage, the food may be great.

Came to setup for a meeting, moved our room without notification, setup was not what we wanted, got a lecture on how we should setup our audio and video.

We have had meetings here for 3 years now, this is the third strike on them and this will be our last time here. No communication from there end and was made our fault.
