Hilton Garden Inn Issaquah Review

Had to stay here during the snow storm. My company had reserved and paid for my room Upon check in the staff said that I still had to put my credit card on file for a hold. It was super inconvenient for me. Check-in process was okay but would have preferred not to use my card at all, even though the hold comes off. In addition I had a very overpriced dinner at the hotel restaurant, my chicken was very dry because it was obviously burnt and a simple beverage tasted more like water. I forgot to grab my receipt from the restaurant after diner, do I stopped by the front desk in the morning and they said they will find it for me and email it. I ended up staying another night and asked bout my receipt, they said again they will look for it and when they find it, they will slide it under my door. A day later I get and email that they could not re-print my receipt for dinner after all. Found that very discouraging. My room over all was clean and there was complimentary bottled water although the heater/cooler was supper loud and would turn on and off every 30 minutes. I was not able to get good rest for two nights that I stayed there.

The place is ok, but not worth what they charge. I will say that the employees were quite friendly, and the rooms are reasonably nice. However, we had some issues during our stay. Housekeeping made our beds but didn't do any other cleaning. There was a mistake in our booking and we got the wrong accommodations. They did fix it without hesitation, though. The beds, I thought, were too firm, and the toilet paper was like sandpaper. Most of these things may have been a matter of them having an off night, so I can't say it's a horrible place or anything, but I felt it didn't live up to the Hilton name.

This is my first time here but am a diamond member with Hilton and there are several great things about this Hilton Garden Inn. The beat breakfast I remember having at one and the kitchen is under renovation, super friendly staff and very comfortable beds which some HGI are lacking in.

Great friendly staff, very clean, close by many stores and restaurants,, walking distance,, I enjoy walking, so it was ok, for me to go around walking, have to give Dayna, a standing ovation(front desk girl) I think thats her nane. Anyways,, she went out of her way to gift wrap a present for me..I was there fir a wedding,, she really did a great job.. plus, very friendly and professional.

Nice place, public transport is bit difficult and good for one who want lonely and no disturbance
