High energy and welcoming. Get there 30 mins before any service. Bring your coffee. An unique spiritual experience. Positive environment!

i want to know why hillsong speaker, carl lentz, on the view did not take a solid stand against abortion. i am very disappointed and will not support

This place is home for everyone! Everyone is welcome no matter what path of life you come from. Place of worship to the name above all names Jesus

If you have never stepped foot into a church, disliked the church, or have been distant from church, please give Hillsong a chance to change your mind. The worship is second to none and the band does a phenomenal job setting the tone and atmosphere for the service. All of the staff are extremely joyful and helpful. The messages preached here are very practical and applicable to your everyday, modern life. I recommend arriving at least 30mins early because the lines can be long, but there's plenty of seats.

One of the best local churches in New York if you are interested in the Lord Jesus Christ and if you want your heart to experience His presence.
There were so many people waiting outside to get in! So be prepared to wait in line.
This church is known for their worship so you might find it littlebit loud if you come from a more traditional church.
The preaching of the Word, the offering, the testimonies and prayer were part of this service. If I visit NY I would attend one of their many services for sure.
Highly recommend this church and many others in New York. But if you live in this city than obviosly you must seek God if He wants you to be a part of this church or some other church in your area!

There was time in my prayed , i wished hillsongs not only in Sydney, hopefullu in NYC. I was heard to some person or group wish Hillsong in queens. I was bless all the time..

Excellent place of worship. Come any way you are He is Waiting. No matter what denomination you are EVERYONE can get an uplifting message to get you through whatever you are dealing with. You are greeted with smiles and "welcome home" by the friendly staff outside of Hammerstein Ballroom when you arrive. Flat screen televisions are placed throughout the balconies of what's going on center stage HOWEVER there is no bad seat during Hillsong , the message is thoroughly felt inside and out. No dress code is needed, HE is more interested in your heart and what healing it needs than what designers you are wearing. Come one come all, you will be moved by His presence and may even get emotional but that is cleansing and we all need it once and a while. Amen AAAAAAAAMEN I say .

Well, it's a demanding group of mainly good people with a huge effort to provide you the explanation of Bible as thoroughly as possible. The music is catchy. It can be a great help for people who wants to walk on the path of christianity.

Anyone can sit down in a church and listen to a sermon. If you prefer a radical experience that reaches into your soul and wakes you up, a passage from the Bible that will make you reexamine your role as a believer under a house that receives all, this is something you will want to attend.

The 8pm Sunday service is the best they always have a good message

This man Carl lentz teaches a false gospel, this is easily detectable through cross reference in scripture & the doctrines coming out of this "church". My message to him would be, repent and turn away from the desires of your flesh, of money and of fame... For it would be better for you to hang a millstone around your neck & drown in a lake than to be a stumbling block for the children of God. Revelation clearly says nothing shall be added to or taken away from the word, and great penalties will come to him who does so. Satan is the puppet master controlling this church and others like this, the Bible says the devil will come as an angel of light, deceiving many..
God's grace be with the people being led astray.

Great worship, message, and fellowship. Always looking forward to attending and serving at church. It is a welcoming environment and they emphasize that you don't have to believe to belong. The service here is magical and so filled with the Spirit. Come visit if you are ever in the area. We would love to serve you.

One of my favorite churches in the world. You will feel exactly as you are coming Home as with any other Hillsong church. Multiple services on Sunday from morning to late evening, but none on Saturday if you're not available then. Location is central and not difficult to find. Hopefully we'll find a permanent location and have our own place to call home soon.

Excellent, even for those who do not speak English very well there is translation help through an application that is downloaded to the cell phone. They have several services, the preachings are great and the praise is the best. I like his style so different from the other churches that give us the teachings of Jesus, a church for the new generation.

Amazingly anointed worship. Sermon was teaching, not preaching.

I was interested in Hillsong coming over from Australia and went to the 2pm service. Disappointing would be an understatement! After two half songs of worship, they then went to the "message" which was just a pre-recorded video of Pastor Carl Lentz from earlier (someone else couldn't of preached?). Then after the message another half a song of worship then we were shuffled out in just under an hour. If nothing else it was efficient, then got to look at some of the things they were selling which were quite overpriced. Didn't feel like I was going to a church, don't know what it was, shame because I know Hillsong NYC do great stuff. Highlight was the burger afterwards.

Love the community and energy of this church. The faith is very passionate and devoted to christ. Us out-of-staters loved this church

I attend in my country at a church. This was my first time in a Hillsong Church and it was awesome. The moment you get here the volunteers are the best and always smiling, I got the opportunity to be translated so if you speak Spanish and prefer listening in Spanish don't panic they'll translate to you. The atmosphere is unique and surely you will feel the presence of God.

I loved the worship and a real down to earth message. They have a screen in like at the airport. Felt safe and refreshed spiritually

Love the church and they also have a lot of different activities like connect group, volunteer teams, conferences. Worship is only one of the best part. Even thou in the sermons may only refer to a short paragraph in bible but the teaching is always related to your daily life.

Just seen this with my life partner it was with paster lenzts. We went to a church for a few mounts but when he found out we were lesbians that is all he talked about we know it's not right but no one knows what happen in our lifes to juge us only God is my juge . so sorry to say we never wet back to that church we have not been in church in two years. This church had an amazing service. I felt truly connected and I loved every second of it. The line outside can get quite long but it's truly worth it. Bags get checked on entrance.

The first day I visited I felt like home because of the manner at which I was received; everyone is all smiles and there s this aura of calmness and tranquility the day I stepped into this church. Objectively speaking. Let's set aside both the hype or criticism. Every chruch can only preach to limited type of audiences. Every church emphasizes different aspect of the church, the body of Christ. Every church has its strength and flaws. This church provides an atmosphere of worship and openness. The preaching is concise and tend to be less in depth.
