A wonderful resource set in an area of natural beauty. Lovely to see the animals, well loved and cared for.
A wide variety of unusual species, all from cold climates, not usually seen in most collections, and a very knowledgeable zoologist to educate me on their lives in the wild ( thanks so much Christina).
Definitely one for frequent visits!
Little sister to Edinburgh Zoo. If you're expecting as much here as Edinburgh, you'll be disappointed. However, it's a lovely little zoo with plenty to see. We went round twice and filled a good 5 hours, caught both the tigers and polar bears getting fed which meant we could see the amazing animals really close. Snow monkeys are adorable and were nice enough to let their little babies play right up against the viewing glass, just a shame the Red Pandas were sleeping in the trees, but that's standard for them
If you hope that's better for animals than any other zoo, don't. Seeing polar bears, tigers, wolves in such s small enclosures or owls and cranes without option to fly is really heart breaking. What's the point of breeding them if they're there exposed to crowds and without chance to live in a natural environment? Beautiful surroundings and quite attractive snow monkeys areas are only highlights. Not worth the price. I'd rather support real animal conservation facilities than simply zoo but I was fooled by other comments.
What a brilliant Wildlife Park!
This Wildlife Park has great parking, a huge variety of amazing animals and a fabulous shop selling delicious ice-cream , lunch and other snacks.
I highly recommend coming here if you are in or near The Cairngorms.
Lovely park in the heart of the Highlands. Lots of animals to see, although some areas are quite hilly so could be a wee bit difficult for some people. There's a drive thru area with lots to see. Lots of food options and well stocked gift shop. Lots of parking available. The surrounding area is spectacular.
A lovely place for family day out. Free parking available on site. Small nice cafe to buy snacks and stuff on the site. Plenty dedicated area to walk around and see closely different animals. There is also safari area where you can drive along and see few animals. It would have been fantastic if they had more animals on safari track. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Overall a very good experience.
Love this park and we nearly always come when we visit the Cairngorms. Unlike a zoo the animals have lots of space and enrichment with food.
Quite hilly but you can then appreciate the views when you get to the top.
Gift shop is based towards kids alot. Not much more than fluffy toys and stationary.
The restaurant/Cafe is reasonable. During covid they're providing a covered area to sit outside.
Literally feels like your driving through empty fields for the vast duration of the driving part. We didn't even notice the "polar bear" on the way in and the only reason we noticed it was because I noticed a man with a camera and I looked over and the poor animal literally looked dead on the hill it's tragic! Wouldn't waste my money again if you want a better day for your money HEAD TO LANDMARK INSTEAD!!!!!!!!
Awesome experience and excellent experience in the park. The sights are amazing in the park the sight of the wildlife in the park running around free.
And along with the sights in the surrounding area are breath taking, all in all a totally enjoyable experience for a tourist like me to enjoy.
A brilliant place to visit. We were lucky with the weather as no rain. Animals are just beautiful and we were lucky to see all of them. Staff friendly and very helpful. Just remember to check the weather and take a rain jacket.
