The course is in great shape, and is well worth the amount you pay for a green fee. Honestly, one of the most nicely manicured courses in Northern Colorado. HOWEVER, the service at the restaurant was terrible this time around. I realize the course and restaurant are separate entities, but I m going with guilt by association.

My daughter and I wanted to grab some food and refreshments after a hot day s round, and the staff of the restaurant ignored us for 10 minutes while we watched them serve a handful of other patrons off and on. This was around 1 PM, on a fairly slow Monday. We were seated at a high top table directly across from the bar, so I m positive they didn t overlook us. In fact, they made eye contact several times.

I m disappointed that they didn t even quickly check in to ask if we had been helped. Hopefully the upper management will address this incident with the staff, because the course itself is always a great place to play.

Great day for golf 1st fairway is still kind of ruff, greens 1st 2 hours were solid hard but got soft has the day went along

My favorite golf course in all of Northern Colorado so far. Very well maintained, plenty of friendly and passionate staff, modern electric carts and a challenging yet welcoming set of holes makes this course one to return to continuously as your game improves. I love the 8th and 9th holes that are tucked away in the neighborhood. Serene.

Great course with interesting and challenging layout. Will absolutely be back for another round

Let me start by saying I played with a group of friends and out handicaps are all in the 7-10 range. We played the course 10/3/2020. The layout is links style and generally wide open for long drivers. The problem is around the greens. You d better be prepared for a nightmare once you reach the green. The undulations of the greens are significant for starters. Some ridiculously contoured. But that s a fun challenge. When the greens keeper gets the greens to roll like an asphalt driveway and cuts the pin locations in multiple borderline spots? Not a fun experience whatsoever. It was almost comical at times the locations of the pins. This is second time there and both visits had the same issue. Will be last time.

We chose The Big Red Barn at HMGC last minute for our wedding, and I couldn t have asked for a better day of coordinator!
Sara was fantastic through the entire planning process; she worked with myself and mother directly through emails/phone/texts and was always prompt to respond. She was easily able to help us accommodate last minute changes and always had great insight for day of set-up and flow, based on her experience at the venue.

Day of, she was more than helpful to make sure my husband and I had a great time without a hitch/bump. I highly recommend her and her team for weddings and special events moving forward!!

Very nice but challenging golf course with lots of sand traps and rolling hills !

Beautiful golf course, a little bit pricey but well maintained.
