High Point Golf Club Review

Go to vist as much as I can a long ride but the kids like to see the Grandparents and I like to see the parents )

It's not the best facility, but it's fun, friendly, and it's a place where you feel good every time you go!

Great golf course. Very challenging and need to have your putting game with you.

It's a nice course. Not perfectly manicured, however, perfectly acceptable for the price. It is very well maintained.

Played today greens are in great shape. Course has come a long way. People that work there are very nice. Will be playing this course a lot this year. Plus you Can't beat the price.

One thing I missed is... highpoint burgers...restaurant are closed because of covid 19.... so sad...

Haven't golfed here yet but I love the lake (Holiday Lake) and the proximity to many of the state parks in New Jersey

Course was in fairly good shape for this time of the year. Price was outstanding.

What happened to this place? Played here last Friday for the first time in ages, and boy has this place gone to dumps. On one green, a worker was replacing the cup as we were chipping on. On another, a guys was watering the green and had the hose laid out as we played. Didn't stop, didn't say a word. We had to putt through a stream, not making this up. No effs given by this guy. No signs anywhere on the course, you just gotta kind of figure out where to go. Not impressed, but for $35 a round I guess you get what you pay for.

Came here on September 6th with the senior outing and this place was just absolutely wonderful

Lots of hazards. Lots of houses (Community course and around a lake). Crosses a lot of roads but overall balanced and a lot of fun.

I am a resident at the Country Club and I absolutely love it here. We have a great neighborhood that is filled with tranquility and Beauty. Feels like a vacation everyday all year round. I'm so happy that we chose here to be our home!

Always have a good time at High Point. People here are nice and the course is a lot of fun. Best bang for your buck for local golf. highly recommend

Favorite course, best greens for 20 miles in any direction.

Fun course. Even playable with all the rain we had.

Facilities and course are npt as well maintained as they once were. Challenging course to play.

My favorite course. The coolest layout I've ever played. Lots of different challenged. Plays about 6700 from the back and it's a par 73. Risk reward shots and course is usually in decent condition.

This is a course when you'll have to use every club in the bag. Afterwards, I went down to the restaurant Blue Heron Bar and Grill and was greeted by courteous staff and filled up on great food while enjoying the beautiful scenes of the lake on the back patio. I definitely recommend this course to everyone.

Long ride for an average course at best. Cant recommend it, its as good as an average county course

The Bar & Grill offered terrible service. My friend and I were there on Saturday night and the waitress who greeted us told us to order our drinks inside bc one of the waitresses called out sick and the other one can't carry the drinks. Excuse me? So we ordered our drinks and walked out with them. NO ONE approached us to clean the table (these tables are outside) no one came over to offer us water. We waited for about 15-20 minutes and nothing. So we went back inside to place our order for food. Same lady took our order and then we waited another 30 minutes for apps! During this time the same lady who took our order came out side and sat with the other guests at their table to chat.. that's fine if that is how you do business but if your patron's food takes extra long to come out then you have no business sitting outside with the patrons! The food was mediocre at best. we ordered nachos with chili, fried pickles, a chicken quesadilla and the shrimp.. The shrimp had a weird taste. The nachos were descent, the quesadilla hardly had chicken, the fried pickles were probably the best dish out of all we ordered.

Also once during our meal one person came over to take the plates and we asked for new drinks which came out and were different from what we ordered.. Tt was a bad experience all around. I do not recommend this place.

Course is in very good condition. Much drier than I expected, given all the rain we've had. And, of course, friendly service.

Great 18 hole course for the price
Well maintained and friendly staff. It is challenging because there are several hazards that test your accuracy.
Worth the trip.

I've been coming here, since I started playing, over 3 years ago and they have a great challenging scenic golf course & the staff is nice & polite.

Best golf deal in Sussex County. It's been remade into one of the finest courses in the area.
