I have personally been here many times to visit my grandparents the idiot who said it isn't a private beach is wrong it in fact is a private beach u have to be a member of the Hideaway Beach club to go onto the beach
There's lots to see but driver's often race down Kendall Drive, because the wait at the gate can be long and the 20 mph speed limit inside the compound area seems to make drivers impatient on Kendall Drive.
Very awesome place... Fishing is great... Food is great... And it is private all of those people who say its not
Love this place. Immaculate. First visit with good friends who have owned for 25+ years .I can see myself purchasing a property there.
It's a private gated community. Very clean, Good beach, golf course and clubhouse for the members.
Beautiful gated community. To finally quell the beach-related disputes in these reviews, no the beach isn't private, but the on-land access to it is. If you have a boat, you can get to and use the beach. All beaches on Marco are public beaches, with the possible exception of Residents Beach. But Hideaway is a private gated community, so sorry no, you can't just drive in and head to the beach.
Great place for lunch. View is beautiful and food was excellent. Will be back.

A beautiful gated community. Right on the water next to the marco river. Had kayaks delivered to us by Paddle Marco. Great service.
