The upper staff Sean, Becky, Justin at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, VA treat staff like animals. Constant undermining, constant disapproval, inadequate training then write you up for not doing it correctly, refuse to listen or accept ideas, keep a person on staff who threated a current employee, write-ups, threaten people with lose of jobs, make people work 6-9 days a week, no lunch breaks which is a violation of law. HR refuses to address the issues. Total mess and will probably lose the contract renewal. Becky can't even do the bed and she is 2nd in charge, came to work smelling like alcohol on July 4 to cover, so rude, pawns her work off to others. Update 9.22.21. THE BEST AD WE HAD JUST GOT FIRED. SHE WAS GIVEN AWARDS FROM THE HOSPITAL STAFF. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!
Update 10.5.21. Check out the canned CEO response. I am willing to bet the CEO salary HR did not address the allegations and those three so called Leaders still have their jobs along with the person who threatend violence! Run for the hills people! Much better jobs out there.
If I could give no stars, I absolutely would. I'm a former employee and while I did work with a few decent people and had a couple of good supervisors, recently our team had finally built back up to where it needed to be and then we got a new director and a new VP who have absolutely derailed the workplace. After I left, in just a week and a half, 3 or 4 other people have left and others are on the brink. Such poor management from the company. Leaving this branch of HHS understaffed and underpaid and overworked should be a crime and I'm glad I got away from it. Do not ever work for this company.

EVEN TROUGH DOCTOR ALREADY REALIZE TEAM MEMBER FOR NO LONGER THAN 2 WEEKS! PLUS DIRECTOR PAY HIS TEAM MEMBER FOR BABYSITTER THEY CHILDREN WITH THEY OFF WITH PAY FROM THE COMPANY! NOT EVEN FORGET MUST TIME DO NOT EVEN SHOW UP TO WORK DUE THAT IS ALCOHOLIC AND POT HEAD! AND SAY TO TEAM MEMBER I'M WORKING FROM HOME TODAY! WHICH EVER WEEK JUST SHOW COUPLE TIMES AT WORK! WHEN COME TO WORK COME DRUNK! MAKE TEAM MEMBER SIGN POLICY THAT HE CREATED HE THEY SAY ANY GOSSIP THERE WILL HAVE CONSEQUENCES! Your company is under contract with our hospital in Jackson, MS. Yesterday one of your employees called me because she was being told to go clean two laboratories that she has never worked before during her shift of 7am - 3:30pm. These two laboratories have restricted access because of the nature of the work being performed. They are cleaned in the evenings because they work with biohazards, DNA, etc. and they have to make sure there is no one in the laboratory when they go in to clean. When your employee refused to do it, she was suspended without pay. I also learned that the same supervisor suspended without pay one other employee who is mentally challenged, because he forgot to attend a meeting. Mind you that these two employees are probably the only two hard working employees HHS has here! When I asked the supervisor why was she sending these employees into these labs, she said she didn't know who needed to do what. She doesn't know how to talk to people, employees This is who you hire to be a supervisor? Terrible!!!
I really enjoyed my time working at the corporate office in Austin, Texas and the interaction within the corporate office as well as with the locations across the U.S. Management is also very receptive to feedback and continues to work on initiatives to benefit the company and its employees. The upper management team is approachable. If you do your job and have a pleasant attitude, there is no issue.
I love working with my co workers but, working with the Assistant director an director feels uncomfortable. I really think that the work is going down instead of up. When some of us try to voice our opinions we are never heard. Alot is going on an nothing is being done about it. It's a lot of work for one person to do. An if we can't finish our work we get wrote up. Or maybe be fried an that isn't far at all to some of us that have Bill's an kids to feed. We don't work as a team at ALL an why do the Assistant director nick have to call us folks instead of calling us by our names. That is very uncomfortable to me. An I know it is to the rest of my co workers. I love my job cause, I love to clean an make people feel welcome an at home. In a clean environment but it's hard working for some people that CARELESS about their employees. I have never been in a situation like this before. I hate to come to work sometimes an, it shouldn't have to be like that. If we voice our opinions nothing is done at ALL. An I think that we all should be treated fairly. I have been working for this company for six months. An I would like to make it six more months an years. But something has to be done cause I want to be happy when I come to work. Instead of sad an mad an not wanting to be their. Thanks so much for all you do. An I am not the only one that feels this way.
